Wife got the rib tips with Mac and cheese and fries. After a 30 minute wait, we got our food. The rib tips obviously came from the fridge. After they warmed them, the food was edible at best. Long line at 830pm that moved rapidly. One in and one out to keep some semblance of social distancing. No phone orders- one must walk in to order and then wait for them to call your phone. You must show ID if paying with card. They were out of every single dessert when I went along with oxtail. They wrapped up my rib tips combo very expertly today keep the sides separate and the corn bread on top dry. The corn bread was not sweet even at all but wasn't dry even though it was pretty crumbly. The rib tips cake absolutely bathing in an incredibly delicious medium viscosity sweet not spicy barbecue sauce that I am certain has cherry in it. It wasn't cloyingly sweet though! The mac n cheese side was totally great with thick real creamy cheese. The yams were great and unique with hints of orange spice flavor. While visiting Cleveland, I was taken to this place for some fried chicken wings! Can I just say these were the best dayum chicken wings I've ever had! They were fried to perfection! Not to greasy or heavy breading that tends to hinds the chicken! They had a nice crispy crunch just the way I like them! We went back again before I left to get another order and this time we got the black eyed peas with okra, sweet potatoes and a cornbread muffin! The they have now compared to recent years is much more courteous and professional. My favorite place to get BBQ in Cleveland. The SIZZAUCE is...fantastic. Really incredible. Layered and the perfect combination of tangy/spicy/sweet. I analyzed the sauce a few nights ago while sopping it up with white bread. (One of the only times I am willing to eat white bread is with this sauce.) The Polish Boys and wings are great here. I ask for my wings fried in flour as opposed to batter. A request they get often and execute quickly and well. But my favorite thing to order here is the Center Rib Dinner, sauce on the side. If you can get some ribs from here FRESH, they are out of this world. If they're not so fresh, then not so much (but that's the case anywhere). I would just ask before ordering. The macaroni and cheese must also be mentioned. I'm not a big mac fan, but have tasted it and recall it being memorable. And a friend of mine raves about it. Also, this spot is almost always open. My most recent visit was post-clubbing at around 3 am! And they honor call-ahead orders when there are other nearby BBQ spots--AHEM B&M-- that will not. read more
