It was NOT however at this particular store, it was clearly at one that has competent employees who have the knowledge and customer service abilities to do their jobs efficiently and swiftly. What really did it for me was actually not the incompetence, though that was annoying, but the self righteousness of the employees. For people who don't know how to do their jobs they certainly have egos that tower mountains above the little they're capable of. The man-splaning was unbelievable, comical even. On May 26 I went into Bestbuy to purchase a remote replacement for my TCL fire platform TV that had Alexa. The idiot "advisor" sold me a basic Insignia remote tat DID NOT have the Alexa voice feature. When I realized the remote I was sold nwas pretty much useless I looked on line and saw my probable best option was to purchase a replacement remote from TCL. Tcl's shipping delays caused the remote to arrive 15 days after my original purchase and when I went into the store to return the Insignia I was told sorry it was a 14 day window. To add insult to injury the impolite "store manager" told me it was entirely my fault. I told him that I told his "advisor" it was a remote for a fire platform TV that had Alexa and his response was it was responsibility and fault. I called corporate customer service and was told the same thing. In my opinion Bestbuy store and corporate philosophy are the lowest class imaginable. There are options out there where someone can get reliable advice backed up by REAL customer service. Bestbuy is total horse shit. Buy from them at your own risk. I will never go into a Bestbuy store in the future or purchase from such a horse shit company. I apologize for denigrating horse shit by comparing it to Bestbuy

They also charged me the same amount as iFixScreens. Additionally, Apple fixed my charge port which iFixScreens unsuccessfully attempted. Do yourself a favor. Take the 10 minute ride from iFixScreens-Dix Hills to the Apple Store in the Walt Whitman mall if you want to pay the same price and have it fixed by someone with competence and who will back their product.
