It was NOT however at this particular store, it was clearly at one that has competent employees who have the knowledge and customer service abilities to do their jobs efficiently and swiftly. What really did it for me was actually not the incompetence, though that was annoying, but the self righteousness of the employees. For people who don't know how to do their jobs they certainly have egos that tower mountains above the little they're capable of. The man-splaning was unbelievable, comical even. They were going to…read morefix it at no cost until they found not only a 3rd party screen wasinstalled (which I expected) but that it was improperly installed. They also charged me the same amount as iFixScreens. Additionally, Apple fixed my charge port which iFixScreens unsuccessfully attempted. Do yourself a favor. Take the 10 minute ride from iFixScreens-Dix Hills to the Apple Store in the Walt Whitman mall if you want to pay the same price and have it fixed by someone with competence and who will back their product.
