They short changed me and only delivered less than 1/2 the oil I needed and billed me for the full amount. so now I am in a fight they thought they could take advantage of a senior citizen. They told me my gauge was incorrect so I used a tank stick and a tank chart 18" of oil is only 188 gallons or 29% full. Math does not lie ! that no where near 400 gallons I ordered. I had an underground oil tank removed, but it turned out there wasn't enough oil left in the tank to start the new tank. I called American Eagle the morning of to ask for an immediate delivery. In the past they had been incredibly accommodating and were able to schedule a delivery on the same day. This time, though, they said they didn't have any deliveries for the day, but they could schedule me for tomorrow. Okay, I thought, they'd bailed me out in the past so I would show them some loyalty instead of calling someone else. I asked to get a delivery early in the morning though, because we wouldn't have heat or hot water until we got our delivery. They said they couldn't guarantee anything but would try to make it happen. Tomorrow rolls around and still no fuel delivery by 12:30. I call and ask for an update, and I'm told 2-3 hours. 2:45 rolls around and still no delivery, so I call again. Again I'm told "2 hours, depending on traffic" and "there's nothing I can do." I don't know what happened with them. I think they started contracting out their deliveries because the trucks that show up don't have American Eagle's logo on them anymore. Sadly, it's time for me to find a new oil company.

I used this guy for 4 years and always had a shady feeling about him but my wife liked him. Every time he came to my house it was NEVER a small fix. Always ended up needing something and having to pay 1000+. We even had to get a new compressor last year. Supposedly. This year my ac wasn't turning on at all but luckily my neighbor was redoing his house so after Ivan came over and told us we needed a whole new unit in the attic for 7-9000$ bc the control board was bad, I had the neighbor guy walk over and check it. He went to the attic for 6 minutes, walked back down the ladder, went to the bedroom, opened the thermostat and swapped the two red wires and boom. It started running. Cold Air coming out of a vent right above my head. I called my wife and told her and it hit her. She said oh yeaaaahhhh!!... I swapped the wires in the winter when the heat wasn't coming on! So I called the office and the lady was very nice and understanding telling me that's not right what he did and you should get your money back. She even said I'll have him call you to see if he can explain. I said fine. She was very nice she calmed me down and didn't argue with me at all. She agreed with me the whole way. Ivan called me ten minutes later... I let him talk bc the lady at the front didn't tell him exactly why I called so he didn't have time to think of a story. He talked for 3 minutes straight about how the control board was bad. Unreal. I told him the neighbors guy came over opened the thermostat and crossed rented wires back and it came on immediately. How do I explain that Ivan? He Never apologized never offered any money back he even tried to to argue with me that if he got us a $9000 unit that it would work even tho the wires would've still been crossed!!! He argued with me the entire phone call his ego couldn't let it go. I said Ivan the wires were crossed in the thermostat!! That was the problem not the control board!! HE STILL ARGUED WITH ME saying it was still the control board! He charged us $400 and the guy never even opened the thermostat!!! You could literally see the two red wires looked like an X anybody that knows anything about A/C would've figured it out! Now every time he came to my house in the last 4 years I think he scammed me but I don't have proof. This is the only time I have 1000% proof. It's like a scam show where they cross two wires and see what the company says and then some lady comes around the corner with a microphone saying you're on nbcnews why are you trying to scam us. This happened by accident and he fell for it. Only getting two stars bc the lady at the office was super cool and understanding. I don't even think she likes him. Ivan is Absolute Scum. This is fact. They gave us a very competitive price quote, which they stuck too even though some additional work was required to install the blower unit in our very difficult to access attic. They did the job in a timely manner (only a couple of days) and the new system is phenomenal. (Ivan recommended a brand called Armstrong Air (which is owned by Lennox). Ivan is perfectionist that takes incredible pride in his work and customer satisfaction. He was recommeneded to me by a friend that also used him and was very satisfied. Ivan answers phone calls in a timely manner (he usually picks up) which makes working with him really easy too!
