They arrived just after 8, got right to work removing the old fence and worked straight through until 3:30. The gates came complete with locking latches and keys. Hayden gave me a lesson in how to lock the gates from either or both sides. They are so cool. The team totally cleaned up and removed all construction debris. Except for the new fencing you would never know they had been here. The craftsmanship was corrected, the cleanup concerns were taken seriously, and I appreciated their willingness to own the missteps and follow through quickly. Not every project goes perfectly, but how a company responds makes all the difference--and in this case, they really stepped up. After job completion, they returned one week later to check results and correct a few "bubbles." (The deck is at least 15 years old, and a few bubbles were expected.) The company provides a one-year warranty and offers a veteran's discount. It is licensed, bonded and insured, and our job was performed in complete compliance with the reasonable bid. Washington Roofing installed a metal roof on our rather complicated farmhouse. The installation…read morecrew was fantastic: they arrived consistently at 7:30am every day and stayed late to see that the roof was finished as quickly as possible (and before the snow hit two days later). The crew was the most professional work crew we've ever had on our property in 16 years, and super friendly too. We have two young kids who loved greeting the crew each morning and saying goodnight in the evening (and I didn't worry that the kids would overhear adult language, etc from these guys!). The crew cleaned up the site (no small task) every night and did a very thorough final clean up on the last day. There was minimal damage to landscaping as the old roof was torn off (we anticipated there would be some, given that it's a heavily planted yard). Scott Daniels, Vice President, was easy to work with from start to finish. There was only one miscommunication issue, really based on the fact that the estimate and contract process was preformed in August and the work wasn't done until January. But Scott had his crew take care of it and the job was completed as expected and still on time. The only negative was that Washington Roofing was booked so far out, but really, isn't that a good indication when a company is in high demand? For reference, our house has had more than five additions over it's 92 years, so the roof has multiple sections and a variety of pitches. It was no piece-of-cake project. The copper colored metal roof looks fantastic and it's great to know we'll never have to replace this roof as long as we live. Thanks Washington Roofing! If you want a metal roof, this is the company you should be calling.
