Most importantly, you're not waiting a long time to get assisted. The doctors are detailed in the examination and the outcome of your results. They have a nice, big selection of eyeglasses to choose. I wanted one that I could look above the frame when not using it for reading instead of having to take off and put on my glasses throughout the day. He hunted high and low for weeks and found me about 5 or 6 that would work. He said that this order was the hardest one he has ever tackled. Unlike many other wholesalers they do not stab their customers in the back by selling frames on line to their customer's customers. Christine, if the optical center was unable to answer the question then you should have gone to another RETAILER whose staff was properly trained to fit and dispense glasses. If I have a question about or a problem with my car I go to the dealer who has trained service people, I don't contact the manufacturer. Fair disclosure: I have been a Smilen customer for over 20 years. They have enabled me to offer a good product at a good price to my patients. If you refuse to consider their products because of this incident then you're doing yourself a disservice, IMO.

I looked online to find it and was directed to the Smilen site. I went round and round with someone this morning who refused to answer a simple question and only replied to go to a center and support local businesses and that they don't deal with consumers. I explained I wasn't trying to buy from them directly but had a question that I couldn't get answered at the optical center and they still refused to answer a simple question about specs. The employee Haydee, knew I was unaware because when I asked why my insurance have no claim, she simply said "not if you want premium honey". So they lied to my insurance investigator and said that I opted in to use their lab when I never knew. I will continue to write reviews like this, so other customers would be made aware where I was lacking. I hope they lose some business behind this. I will not be going to this place ever again.
