I used Options Health for my first child. The building itself has a warm feel and is clean and inviting. The staff is off the charts amazing. They provided a nonjudgmental, safe space. They helped me understand what i needed to do to get ready for my baby and helped me not feel overwhelmed. Through counseling , they gave me the confidence i needed to give birth to my daughter. They even provided me with a crib, formula, diapers and clothes, just to name a few. If it wasn't for their services, I can honestly say, I would not be the mother I am today. This place is amazing! They were the only people that finally could help me get in the right direction for my prenatal care. Their ultrasound is free and their machine is very high quality. They printed more pictures of my baby and got a better view of it than my doctor's ultrasound machine did! The process was a breeze, especially after struggling for a month or so to get a checkup from any other place without insurance. The waiting room is so relaxing compared to any other place, and they have a cute room for pregnancy education where you can even earn free baby stuff after attending their sessions! The entire staff was kind, caring, and seemed genuinely interested in my baby and making sure I was getting the care I need. Can't recommend them enough!!! Thank you for all of your help! read more

They advertise to pregnant women, but they do not offer abortion services, or abortion referrals. They do not provide all pregnancy options, but do share lies about abortion. Yipes. The name is very deceptive. I called to ask about services and spoke to Heather. She was very welcoming, and explained all of the services. I referenced that they must be like Planned Parenthood. She did not correct my misconception. In fact, they are nothing like Planned Parenthood because Options does not offer birth control, STD testing, abortion or cancer screenings. She told me their policy - Come in, take a pregnancy test. If it's positive, it's "very important," to have an ultrasound so one could "hear the heartbeat of the baby." Ultrasounds are often encouraged by these centers to emotionally pressure someone into keeping a pregnancy. She also told me 1 in 4 pregnancies end naturally in miscarriages, giving a legitimate cover for why an ultrasound would be important. I'm all for supporting low-income parents who want to keep a pregnancy and need help. But this kind of manipulation - to not even tell me over the phone that they don't actually help with all-options - is very disturbing. read more

This facility is not a place I would reccomend to anyone that needs help, comfort, or honest information about their unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. My partner and I went here after learning that Planned Parenthood did not take our insurance. We wanted to have an ultrasound done to see if the pregnancy was viable and talk to someone about what our options were and we were emotionally taken advantage of in a time where we already had difficulty thinking clearly. Just got home after my first visit at Options for Women. Overall such a warm and welcoming experience. The women who work here are friendly, sweet, and know what they are talking about. Pregnancy isn't always a positive subject for some women, and thankfully this center educates you and gives you options. I was super excited for my first ultrasound and we thought I was about 7 weeks after talking for about 15 minutes. Turns out I was two weeks to early but didn't find that out until my sonogram. I was assisted by Kayla and Linda. They were very helpful and friendly. If I knew about this place before, I would not have been going to planned parenthood. They provide an ultrasound on the spot and pregnancy test. They also provide other assistance, I will becoming back here for another ultrasound in the future. read more

I don't even know where to begin! I am 7 weeks pregnant and due to all this COVID stuff I can't see my OBGYN until I'll be almost 10 weeks. That is entirely too long to not know if my baby even has a heartbeat! After several google searches I came across Options Health, and they provided ultrasounds (along with a lot of different services) to check for a viable pregnancy. I was able to get an appointment within a few days! Upon arriving there the staff was very warm and friendly. After answering some intake questions and taking an urine test to confirm I was given my ultrasound. The tech was so professional and fast! Made my day to see my little jelly bean! I was given lots of information and pictures of my baby to take home. They even allowed my husband to be in the room! Which Kaiser is refusing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Talk about a blessing in disguise. When I first went to this clinic I was scared and in need of some guidance. The lovely wonderful folks at Option was exactly what I needed. Everyone there is so sweet, caring and empathetic. I feel this is a place that most first time expecting parents don't know about, and that's a shame because they are such a great resource and have been so beneficial for my first child birth. It was my first time using the mobile and let me tell you, the services they provided was outstanding. I actually went to their clinic when I was pregnant with my first born. (He will be five in December) This place was the first to confirm his heartbeat, and today, they confirmed the heartbeat of this pregnancy as well. This clinic does not provide abortions, instead uses biased counseling and something called "abortion aftercare", which is not medically recognized. If you need an abortion in the East Bay, I highly recommend going to Planned Parenthood of Walnut Creek. read more

This place deserves more than just a review. I really don't have words to describe how amazing and supportive and friendly the women of this office are. They were with me every step in my pregnancy up until I was 12 weeks pregnant and lost my baby. They could have forgotten about me at that point and thought their job was over but they truly cared about me. They sent a personalized card in the mail that made me feel so supported and loved. This place feels like family. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is an any stage of pregnancy. I truly wish there was a better way to describe how thankful I am for them. read more

I felt very comfortable and safe here. They have a very well put together clinic. They have coffee, tea, and water with comfy seating in the lobby/waiting area. All of the women were sweet and truly cared about my experience & what I needed. I was here to get tested and it was a quick, very informative & a great hospitable visit. I accompanied my daughter to an appointment here yesterday. The staff were warm, compassionate and helped her feel at ease in a very difficult situation. She was able to receive services free of charge (medical hasn't yet kicked in) and a lot of additional information that is very helpful (medical/ non-medical). Heather, Aimee and staff you rock! I came to options for women after finding them on yelp. I needed assistance while waiting for my medical coverage to start. I was so surprised when I walked through the door. It was clean, warm and very welcoming. Nothing like planned parenthood. The women working there are so warm and friendly. They seem to genuinely care about their patients. Due to insurance reasons, I was unable to get an ultrasound with an ObGyn- or I could and pay tons of money for it. Instead, I called Options for Women and got an appointment within the next week. The lady on the phone was very nice and professional. When I came in with my husband it was a nice welcoming waiting room with a really sweet receptionist who explained all the paperwork to me. I took a pregnancy test and got an ultrasound. The nurse was very professional and kindly explained everything about my baby. The other volunteer told me about these great programs they have for women during and after pregnancy- they really care about the mom and the baby. It was really cool and uplifting. Everything was totally free and it honestly just felt like a VIP experience!!! I'm not sure why people are giving them such horrible reviews when it's clear this center isn't about ending pregnancies through abortions- they're about supporting pregnant women and helping them to not only stay pregnant but to be supported, loved, and totally cared for by the volunteers. This center really cares about women and babies. I know this from first hand experience, I would recommend to any pregnant women. They even invited us to come back and get supplies for our baby! read more

I went to their mobile unit parked over on Meadow/Monument. They were extremely kind and helped me with everything I needed! They had a ton of information on how to get insurance even in really tough situations, and also any other resource I needed it seemed. I found this location here on Yelp, and I'm so glad I actually went it and talked to an associate ! Her name was Heather and she was sooo helpful , she made me feel completely safe and like I could tell her everything ! The feeling inside the establishment was homey and warm. She helped me establish that I am actually pregnant and scheduled me for my first ultrasound along with giving me pamphlets about insurance and other options for my baby and myself. This is an amazing establishment that I would recommend to anyone who asked me about it. And it's 100000% confidential ! read more

One word: AMAZING. I wanted to come in for an ultrasound to get some peace of mind and I got everything I needed and more. I reached out via text, and heard back first thing in the morning. I was texting with Tanya and she was very professional, and was able to get me on the phone within minutes of her first response. She even scheduled me to come in THAT DAY, just hours before and I could not have been more excited to do so. Once we got there, Tanya and Blayne were very transparent and took every precaution to ensure safety and health in their facility and their interactions with us. It was very personable, informative, and they were both super involved which made me feel so comfortable and at ease. It was like having conversations with friends, and it lifted so much anxiety off my shoulders for being a first-time mom. Even better, Options Health is a non-profit organization and very community driven and passionate about helping women and families. Such a great and memorable experience, and although they are not my primary care doctors, I highly recommend their services! read more

I have been going here for quite some time since I found out I was pregnant and I must say the people here are very helpful and encouraging.

I went to Options for Women for an ultrasound and the experience was above and beyond my expectations. I was really nervous going in but as soon as I was greeted personally by Judy, I immediately felt at ease. I was well informed the entire visit and knew exactly what to expect. The RNs who did my ultrasound made me feel comfortable and I love the ultrasound pictures they took of my little one. By the end of the visit, I was sent home with a lot of information to help me continue my pregnancy. They go beyond giving you resources in the Concord area, but other cities as well if you plan on moving or live elsewhere. The lobby is clean and quiet. My first time going to options for women I was 22 and then 6 weeks pregnant which i didnt know. I went in to take a pregnancy test and it was positive. I was so scared i didnt know what i was going to do. I ended up miscarrying which i guess is pretty common. Amy the nurse was the most amazing person ever to walk me through it. A few months later i went back and i found out i was pregnant again!!! I was extremely excited. 2 nd time around amy was there to help me. She explained to my husband and i what to expect, since i was going to be a first time mom. We kept in touch through out my entire pregnancy. I had my beautiful daughter feb 2015 and to this day we still go back and visit her, and i thank her for all her help. The office staff there were also very warm and comforting, and i definitely recommend going there. No matter what your situation is, they will help you get through it. I definitely will be going back for future pregnancies. read more
