Amazing and insanely addicting bread, perfectly thick and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend the bread, it's bomb. Their garlic fries are also solid. Chicken liver, lamb and steak were all super juicy. The chicken was juicy but not quite as amazing as the other meats. My favorite was the lamb, then steak. This place wasn't fabulous, but wasn't bad either. It was just in the middle for me. I got the beef noodle soup and I was very pleased with the flavor of the broth. However, it could have used some more veggies in it. The babaganoush didn't taste homemade in my opinion. It tasted just like the big tub I get from Costco, so that was a bit disappointing. The fries were a generous portion and nice and crunchy. I just wish the garlic was mixed throughout instead of a spoonful on the top. We also got hanger steak kebabs which were very small for the price. There were four pieces of meat on them and they were pretty small pieces. They were cooked to my liking though. Came here to explore Uzbek style food in Queens and was overall satisfied. It was definitely not as good as I've had elsewhere. I enjoyed the hangar steak but there wasn't as much meat on the skewer as I expected. The garlic fries were good and I would recommend ordering them. The Shepard salad was very large and satisfying. The lamb kebab although small was very delicious and flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the Baba ganoush because there was a lot of Mayo in it, but that's just my opinion. I was very impressed with the service as well. Our waitress was very prompt and always gave us new plates after each course. We ordered via seamless. The time went by and we see on the app that the delivery guy passed by us and left, marked "delivered", when he did not. We called the restaurant, the owner picked up saying it was never picked up. The driver never answered our texts or calls. We called Seamless and they acted promptly and refunded us the entire bill. We order Falafel with hummus which came with tahini and was to-die-for! If you're not ordering the hummus you're missing out big time! All was accompanies with Uzbek bread. This was a pleasant surprise as we expected pita bread. It was crispy outside and perfectly fresh inside. We ordered a large garden salad. Again, fresh veggies, nicely cut and perfectly seasoned. The chicken is well-seasoned and practically melts in your mouth. Took off one star for the lamb kebabs. The flavor is there but the lamb was fatty and a little chewy. Also, $18 is a little on the pricey side for what you get, especially for a lunch menu. Have gotten both takeout and delivery, but the restaurant's dining area is nice. If not for my being COVID-cautious, I'd definitely eat indoors. If they had outdoor seating, I'd probably go more often. A great kebab skewer place in Briarwood. I'm not sure if this place is Uzbek, Bukharan, or just Russian Kosher but either way it's good. Very smokey grilled meats and fresh ingredients. OK, what ever bad reviews there are on this list don't make sense to me. Maybe that person just went in with a bad attitude and had their mind set before they even ordered. But I'm telling you the food could not be prepared any better. We got the liver, chicken, lamb and the beef kebabs. We also got garlic fries and pickled cabbage on a plate with lots of other goodies. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. If I had to say anything about this place that may not have been perfect was that the prices may have been a little higher than other restaurants in this genre but the quality was definitely up to par.
