I would definitely recommend this option and fill it with sauces and salads. I got the garlic mayo which was amazing, as well as tabouli, tahini, babaganoush, and Moroccan eggplant. The food is very flavorful and delicious! My friends and I went for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised with what we got. There are so many different ways to make the pita/entree bowl you want. I personally got the baby chicken shwarma with hummus and lafa bread with the fries on the side. It was so good, and SO BIG! I could barely even finish half the sandwich. The kind waiter also gave us all the sauces to try, and oh my goodness they were all so yummy as well. My favorite sauces were the "spicy sauce", which isn't too spicy, as well as the garlic mayo and the tahini sauce. The restaurant has a counter area where you can order the food and ask for what to place on it, and there is a back area you can eat restaurant style as well. This was the best falafel sandwich I've had since going vegan. Great favorite, awesome hummus and tahini, pickles, red cabbage and spicy carrots. I also brought home mixed shawarma of chicken and lamb for the family. Authentically carved from the spigot. Other places pull meat from a draw and fry it up but not here. The place was packed mid-day. Manager was very friendly once I figured out the you order in the back. She recommended mix shawarmam with Israeli salad and fries. My son never lifted his head up while eating lol. Worth the drive and I'm already planning another trip. The atmosphere is clean and neat but no thrills. Food was still awesome even after a drive back to Suffolk County during rush hour traffic. Great job! Order in the back at the end of the counter and get a ticket unless you're staying. My boyfriend has been telling me about the fries at Grill point for two months ever since we went to another schwarma place he didn't like. We came here when it was very busy around 6:30 on our way home from a long drive to a very important and difficult appointment with a Rabbi in BK. The girl at the front with pretty blonde hair was nice and friendly. She took our order and made us feel comfortable despite the hectic feel. I got a lamb schwarma plate, and he got a schwarma pita. Mine came with two sides, a salad, and a pita. I got potatos and grilled veggies that had perfect flavor. His came stuffed with lamb schwarma, chumus, salad and eggplant. Liz was so nice and came over to our table with a huge smile, kind words and big plate of fresh french fries. I don't know if she realized she just made our day. Aside for having a very emotionally draining day, my bf had been sick the last two days and couldn't eat a thing. I hadnt even seen him eat onc the whole entire day. I was very worried about him getting too weak. Liz also mentioned she noticed him eating seldomly. One thing he said amazed him was how the line workers were so friendly and didn't get stressed out with tons of people asking them for so many things all at once. The Eggplant in tomato sauce is the perfect dip for the huge Laffa bread they give you. Service: Very friendly people who will explain the menu to you. Although my girlfriend dislike turkey and I dislike both lamb and turkey, Grill Point does the lamb and shawarma so well that you do not even taste the gaminess from the lamb or the twerkery from the turkey. For $21, we got the sharwarma in a laffa, cole slaw, fries, and tahini sauce that fed us two until we were full (she did not eat the fries because she does not like fries in general). I got their cold slaw and pickles. The cashier was super friendly which was great. The line to actually get your food was long but worth the wait. The men of the grill were super friendly and prepared my food to go. When I got home, I enjoyed my chicken kebab. It is honestly the most delicious kebab I have ever eaten. The chicken was super moist and juicy, the flavor was delicious mixed with the hummus, white sauce, onions, cucumbers and a green spicy sauce they added. Even though I have been to Grill Point probably a handful amount of times, I will say that I have traveled to Israel and the food here at Grill Point takes me back to my travels all the time. The customer service here is excellent. The staff is super helpful, by helping you make the best pick from the menu even if you are not familiar with some of the items. I got my ultimate favorite which is the falafel in a pita. My sis got the lamb and turkey shuwarma plate. We loved the fact that we also got to fill up our own sides with whatever we desired. And of course, we loaded up on sauces, because what's a meal without sauce?! We then walked to a nearby park and enjoyed our meal outdoors. Their waitstaff have come and gone but that's to be expected in business. They are very frequently sold out of baby chicken schwarma and eggplant in tomato sauce but there are a lot of other options to choose from that are also pretty good. Check out their small dishes where you can load up on fresh pickled veggies and the size of their flat breads. I love it here and my family enjoy it too. Just remember, they close early on Friday and they are not open on Saturday because they observe Shabbat shalom. Not to fret, all other days they open late! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for years. The salad bar looks great and I always felt this place had a good vibe. I finally tried it today. The food is pricey so not worth it since the lamb kebab was very chewy and the fries were soggy. The cabbage salad, coleslaw and pickles were great. So was the rice and beans. I ate here yesterday for the first time in about 5 years and they did not disappoint. I got the falafel pita which was amazing. It was overflowing to the point that I couldn't even eat it in my hand I had to put it on a plate and open it up. The tomato eggplant was amazing. I had a really great experience here! We found this place while strolling along Main Street and decided to give it a go. We got (takeout) baby chicken shawarma, baby chicken shish kebab, and beef steak, all in pita. The pita bread is sliced down the middle, and with the meat inside, it's almost like a hamburger but with the other end closed (to keep all the yumminess inside, DUH). They also let you choose additional toppings for the inside of your pita bun--I got hummus, cilantro, onions, and tabbouleh. Out of the three different "in pita" options we got, I must say the baby chicken shish kebab was my favorite. Juicy and delicious, just an explosion of flavor in a single bite. They also let you choose stuff from their salad bar. This name was slightly misleading since I thought I would be seeing some form of leafy vegetables... but it's mostly just pickled stuff. There were pickled cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, onions, radish, beets, peppers, also coleslaw. I tried everything and liked everything except for the coleslaw (weird taste). The interior looks small but there is actually a lot of seating near the back. It has a pretty chill atmosphere and you'll see both families and single customers present. Depending on what you get and the time of day, you can expect the wait time to be between 5-25 minutes. The people taking orders were not super friendly, but the people who actually made the food were extremely nice. This restaurant is definitely a little higher priced than surrounding restaurants, but it felt worth it in my opinion because Middle Eastern / kosher restaurants are just generally more expensive, and the food was very high quality. We proceeded but apparently we had to go to the register first. After we wasted 15mins , I saw her cleaning a table for a white couple and take their order! Wtf. This is a racist establishment. My money is green just like everyone else. After I let it be know how offended and unsatisfied I was with the service, she then became very attentive. I got this wrap thing (in a laffa) with chicken and veggies and fries- (sorry I forgot the name, I couldn't pronounce it clearly either...I think my accent got heavier when I tried hahaa) but when it came out I was confused. Cause I was like "Didn't it say it came with fries?" YO!!! the fries were IN the wrap! IT was amazing it really was! The fries were really crispy on the outside and potatoey inside! so good! The chicken was cooked to perfection!! It wasn't dry and thank goodness (I mean who likes dry chicken) Also there were enough veggies, chicken, and fries all wrapped together that it didn't fall apart on ya!! The potion was big cause I was not able to eat the whole sandwich in one sitting. I ate half at the place and took the rest home. It made me sad that I couldn't eat it all since it was so good but my stomach was just too stuffed. We also ordered hummus, I never had it so Grill point was where i first had my hummus. AMAZING!!!
