Charging a cleaning fee while failing to provide a clean home before check-in is unacceptable. Offering cleaning during our stay was not a real solution, especially while we were on vacation celebrating our anniversary. I requested a partial refund and was told someone would contact me, but no one followed up. This felt misleading, unprofessional, and very disrespectful to guests.

V mentioned that the scent of cleaning products was too strong, but we explained that we prioritize sanitization between each guest to ensure a safe and clean environment. This has never been an issue for previous guests. Additionally, she mentioned construction next door. We personally checked the property earlier in the day, and there was no active construction at the time. While it's possible the neighbors were doing light work, there was no disruption during her stay. Despite our best efforts to accommodate V and address her concerns, she continued to insist on a full refund and threatened a bad review. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance due to the ongoing threats.
