I just moved from Los Angeles and just had Orange Carpet cleaning to my rental house. The rental agency said it was all cleaned, I had Orange Carpet cleaning come because it didn't look clean, sure enough the carpet was terrible, the grout in the bathroom and family room was terrible and to top it off there was dog food and hair under the washer and dryer. Disclaimer: I know Darin the owner, but never used his service. I called Orange Carpet Cleaning for two homes. Due to a last minute contract change I had to re-schedule them and Jamie was very accommodating. On the day of the first cleaning Dennis showed up on time, explained everything to me, and did an impeccable job. On the second cleaning I was pleased to see that Dennis showed up again. I sought out their carpet cleaning services after Jamie had been at our house to do some repair work through the home warranty. I was totally impressed with her and her work ethic. So when it came time to have our carpets cleaned, I wanted to use them, I thought the quality would be the same. I thought it was really strange, their online presence is non-existent. No website or anything. You have to use third party phone listings to find their number (like yelp). Scheduling was a nightmare. Lots of calls back and forth, finally a 25-minute call without getting booked because she wasn't sure about the schedules and it was a lot of "maybe this and maybe that." Finally, I said to email me, I just didn't have have more time to wax and wane over scheduling. We got it on the books at a mutually convenient time. The price seemed moderate, not too expensive for the square footage. The two cleaners who came were about 25 minutes late. It was estimated they would be here for 3 hours but they were packed up and ready to leave in 2 hours. They were incredibly polite and careful inside our house. I'm still not sure how or why they were so much quicker than estimated? At the end of the day, our carpet was no longer soft and plush, it felt...crispy. It initially looked cleaner but now, only a few short weeks later, looks dingy, almost worse than what it looked prior to cleaning. Mostly though, I'm terribly upset with the feeling of the carpet. I'm sure if I contacted them and told them, they might offer something, like to come out and re-clean. But I can't risk having my carpet feeling like this again after cleaning. And I don't want to go through the nightmare of scheduling again and then the inconvenience of setting aside a few hours and having wet carpets. I'll just wait a few more months and then call a different company, will cross my fingers. read more

Wonderful locally owned, all natural cleaning company. We were scheduled to move out of our rental property and were originally going to use the property managements company for carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and housekeeper services and the quote was astronomical. We met the Owners, Jamie & Darin when moving into our new home, noted their companies truck in the driveway and on a whim secured a quote. Their companies quote was significantly less, and they were able to work us into their scheduled jobs immediately. We ultimately received a full refund on our rental property. Ok so I have had several carpet cleaners over the years, and have not been impressed at all, Until today. I bought a house six months ago and prior to moving in we had the carpets cleaned in part because the prior owners had dogs, and never took care of the carpets and per the previous tech never vaccumed either his words. According to the carpet guy he had to stop several times to unclog his filters to remove the pet hair. Upon moving in my wife and I weren't impressed at all. So we toughed it out and even purchased a Shark Vacuume cleaner, which by the way does an amazing job. My wife and I were contemplating replacing carpets but decided to find another carpet cleaner and see what could be done. While out one day I saw a truck, Orange in color with advertising on the side, so I wrote down the number talked with wife and then decided to call them. Jamie took the call and explained in great detail what they did, how it was done etc. We made appt for the first am slot. They showed up as promised, and went to work. They were very thorough and by that I mean thorough they spot treated, raked the carpet ( which I must say I have never seen done before) and then proceeded to clean my carpets. WOW the carpets look amazing!!! They are dry to the touch and it's only been an hour and half since they left. I will definetly call in the future, and HIGHLY recommend anyone wanting there carpets cleaned to contact Orange Carpet Cleaning.
