Always greeted with a smile from the second I walk in!!The instructors at Orange Elephant know exactly how to make sure each and every kid has a great time here. Their products are amazing and are out of the ordinary. You will not find a type of dough/clay for your kids like the A-clay at the store. Doesn't stick to furniture, carpet, clothes etc., and the kids love it! They have tons of different products in store so there's a lot to chose from. Highly recommend bringing your kids here on your next trip to the Glendale Galleria!

Great place to bring your child. This is a licensed child care facility and they will entertain your child for up to 3 hours. Drop your kid off and do some shopping if you want.

Awesome service, greate product and lovely staff. My kids had wonderfull time, and A-clay and window paints became their #1 play for fun and arts. Thank you very much for everything, you are the best, will be back often. THE BEST!

Large selection of crafts and well organized

Great place I took my young daughter in who can be a handful, Ani was so patient with her helping her with crafts and making sure to try and teach her some skills. The place is spotless and relaxing a nice break from walking around the super crowded mall. I will be back thank you!!

There's virtually no employees on the floor to help so, myself and multiple other customers have to stand in line to ask our simple little questions that stress management out. I mean straight up stressed out, sweating, heavy breathing, like they're having an anxiety attack. This is all corporates fault really. Understaffing their stores is not helpful to anyone. I used to work at a big name art supply store, we were always fully staffed. The days we weren't, were a nightmare. Michaels needs to do better by their employees. I bought a bunch of yarn and to be honest, I'm just going to return it. I don't feel it's worth it to shop here anymore. I don't want my money going towards a corporate entity that obviously doesnt care about its employees or its customers. Customer service starts with content employees. Come on Michaels. Do better.

This store usually has great sales on the seasonal items. Depending on the time you visit this store has 40% to 50% sale. The merchandise is reasonably priced and can be cheaper compared to similar stores. Recently, they have added self checkouts. They have cashiers helping too, but it's mostly self check out. Employees are nice and friendly. No complaints about the customer service. For parking, this location has plenty of parking space shared with other stores.

Banned from Buying After Their Own Product Broke in 18 Days…read more Bought a sewing machine for my elderly mom--when it broke after 18 days, the manager refused to help and told us to shop elsewhere. It'll be a very long time before I ever set foot in another Michael's--especially the one in Glendale, CA. Let's face it: good customer service is rare these days. I read plenty of negative reviews about this store's self-checkout mess and lack of help before writing this. My main issue, though, is poor management. I recently bought a sewing machine for my elderly mother, a lifelong seamstress who just needed a reliable, basic model. The sewing section was literally a wall of product cards--no demos, no displays, and no one available to explain anything. You grab a ticket and bring it to the register, but a ticket doesn't mean it's in stock. Behind the self-checkout counter sat a random stack of damaged boxes. The kind attendant confirmed our chosen model was out of stock, so we settled for a smaller Singer and took it home. It turned out to be tiny--almost toy-like. So we returned it (receipt in hand) to exchange for a larger, pricier one. Enter "Manager" Nagila. She curtly told me that Michael's "does not allow sewing machine returns if you simply don't like it." She called it "store policy" but couldn't explain why. Whether that rule truly exists or not, her attitude was cold and dismissive. I explained we weren't returning it out of preference--we just wanted to upgrade to a better, more expensive machine. Only then did she reluctantly process the return, warning she'd "allow it this one time" but "not again." It felt less like customer service and more like being scolded for trying to do business there. Fast-forward 18 days: my mom's mid-project when the new machine fails completely--error codes C4 (bobbin issue) and E6 (motor failure). We went back, receipt in hand. Nagila immediately refused to help, wouldn't even inspect the machine, and told us to "just go somewhere else." She processed a refund and said we were no longer allowed to purchase sewing machines at that store. When I asked her name, she mumbled it under her mask and snapped, "I don't have to give you my name!" before storming off. One of the regular employees--the same kind woman who helped us before--apologized and admitted her manager was in the wrong. Michael's Corporate: This is how you lose loyal customers. Managers like Nagila are running your stores into the ground.

Disappointed.... Big…read morebox retailers are always looking for ways to reduce overhead. It's a business. The global economic hi jinx that this administration is putting us in makes it hard to pass real savings on to the consumer. Decreasing the ability for staff to service in store guests can not be the answer. Today I was in store and noticed that an item I have been stalking had been marked down. I used the scanner to confirm and it rang up a different price. I walked the entire women's section 2 times. I walked through the 'dressing rooms' that are always closed and used as a storage area twice. There were no sales associates on the floor. I asked a custodial associate about calling someone for help and he kindly let me know that they are not supposed to do that. I walked through the shoes and accessories department and there was not one associate in sight. I tried to look for a mirror to see if I could just make a buying decision without trying the items on. I had to go to the home - mirrors section just to look at the items I was interested in buying. I finally went to the front of the store and saw two people standing watching the registers. I asked one of the individuals for help in ladies, and received a , 'For what?'. I blinked a few times. I think I understood what she was asking, but that was definitely not how you professionally ask that question. After all that the wrong signage was posted. The associate helped me, but I'm not sure if they were happy about it. I ended up having to buy 2 different sizes because I had no way to really determine which size would fit. Now I have to return one of the items. Positive - The Free Assembly / Scoop buyers/designers have leveled up the options in a major way, but who wants to play a guessing game with sizing with a higher price point item. The racks have been fairly full for over a month with these items. Maybe if people could try on items they would purchase more. I'm just waiting for markdowns as this point. Do better Walmart.

Aaron waited on my wife and I, and helped us decide between several options and prices for re-doing the smashed-down feather cushions for our sofa. He gave us printed estimates for each option, then the turn-around estimate for the option we decided on.
