Pros: Areas are leveled, price is cheap, two dog parks with doggie bags, near the freeway, management (Crystal) is nice and welcoming. Cons: It's hard to get through the phone lines, nobody is ever in the office during office hours, we had an issue with our neighbor not cleaning after his dog outside in between our trailers (any time we opened up the windows it smelled like shit). He was constantly arguing with us so we told management (Crystal) and she said she was going to kick him out (since staff and others were complaining about him and his dog).... She never kicked him out and the issue worsened to where he got other people from other trailers involved. A few trailers down, there was a lady with like 5 or 6 kids who kids would come out crying from the mom screaming at them sever days. At the dog parks, the shit was left on the ground, the lights hardly work. You do pay for what you get.

The facilities, quite literally all of them, were incredibly and painfully obviously clean and maintained. The pool, gym, laundry, RV sites, all exceedingly clean. I also want to take a moment to give a shout out to the Crest Bar & Grill. This KOA has a GREAT place to eat, the food was good & massive servings. All the staff, from the camp staff to the grounds guys & the waitresses / waiters at the diner were ON POINT. KOA Bakersfield, don't never change, keep being you boo - cause you are wonderful.

I read the multiple positive reviews. And the best thing was we pulled in right before midnight and the self check-in was super easy. Filling out the paperwork now and will pay tomorrow. Looks very clean and organized and plenty of parking. Each space is well groomed and well lit. We're definitely gonna come back here again.

We were camping in 100 degree weather so the A/C was an absolute dream. We had the trailer delivered and set-up and everything went smoothly. The A/C was cranking and the trailer was ready to go when we got there. Booking and communication was a breeze. Adam was quick to respond to any minor questions we had as we were getting settled. The Ranger was nice when I had a minor issue. The hours of the Rangers office are only till 5 PM I think. Why only 3 Stars? My experience at this campground was not as expected. - There was a group who decided to make the campground one big party and were blasting their music for the whole campground to hear. Many times they would ride around the loop blasting their music for everyone to hear as well. I guess they thought it was cool. They weren't young by any means. They were on scooters too, so not like they were trying to get exercise out of it. - Many folks decided it was alright to drive the wrong way around the loop, despite there being large signs that say "WRONG WAY, DO NOT ENTER". - I had many folks hanging out in my campsite since it was next to the water. I guess they either don't know of campground etiquette or don't care. I always thought you "don't" walk through someone else's campsite.

There is running water from a faucet at the camp spot , toilets and hot showers . And they do keep it clean and provide toilet paper . Now, if you are part of a big group of campers you might want to get a site that's further out of the camp site near the river or the fields because of noise. If you are loud enough, your neighbors will hear you or you will hear them and can cause problems between camps especially during quiet time. Respect the quiet time which is at 10pm. My camp is loud, we play music and clown around and have good fun, and sometimes it might bother other campers, so I would book a site near the ends of the camp site where there are no campers behind you . Other than that, this is a really great place to camp . There is a convenient store a mile away but everything there is overpriced but convenient. This campground is infested with friendly squirrels that will beg for food or eat your scraps. Try not to feed them .
