This was a disappointing experience, mainly due to how communication and expectations were handled…read more We brought our young child in for a trial class and were specifically advised by staff to place him in a more independent class instead of a parent-and-me option. We trusted that recommendation and attended the class. To be clear -- he did very well, especially for his first time in a new environment without a parent. He followed directions and waited his turn. The only challenge was that there was a lot of standing in line while one child at a time was worked with for several minutes, leaving the other kids waiting with little to do. Like many young kids, he stayed engaged by moving and dancing while waiting, which felt reasonable given the structure. When we followed up to enroll (after being told someone would reach out), we were told our child was "not approved" for the class based on that single visit. That phrasing is pretty surprising when you're talking about very young children, and there was no acknowledgment or adjustment when I expressed concern. The response felt very rigid and policy-driven. It seems like this program prioritizes strict structure and compliance over keeping young kids actively engaged. For the amount of time spent waiting in line versus actually participating, it also made me question the overall value of the class. Also, I didn't see boys in the older structured classes, which may be something for parents of boys to consider. Overall, this felt like a mismatch in philosophy and a lack of thoughtful communication. We will not be returning.

They keep it fun and encouraging all while pushing our daughter to be better. She loves the coaches and feels they support her growth and at the same time aren't overly tough on her to where it would kill her love of the sport. It's been super fun to watch the program grow and quality talent be developed as well as see tremendous performance and achievement within the gym at the competitions.

She has a medical condition that sometimes requires a specific maneuver- similar to a handstand - to correct it. When this happened during class, my daughter ran out to notify me, as she's done before. In the past, we were offered a back room to perform it, since parents aren't allowed in the mat area. This time, while discussing the situation with the front desk, the owner walked out, spoke to me in a short and dismissive tone, and immediately shut down the conversation without offering any alternatives or solutions. Before I could even explain, she turned and walked back to her office, closing the door behind her. I completely understand and respect facility rules. But when a medical issue is involved, a little compassion and willingness to help would go a long way. This was handled poorly, and I'm extremely disappointed in how dismissive the response was. At the very least, I expected a conversation about possible solutions, but I was denied even that. I hope ERA gymnastics will reconsider how they handle medical concerns/situations like this in the future - for the well being and inclusion of every child in their program.

Recently had our daughter's 4th birthday party here and it was such an easy process. Booking was…read moreseamless and great value. We were able to come 30 minutes prior to the party to set up. It's a tight 30 minutes, so bring help if you have a lot of decorations like we did. We were able to bring in outside food and drinks (no alcohol). We had 2 staff assigned to the party, they were seriously awesome. They helped with the set up and did all the clean up. They also led the kids so parents could sit back and relax. We opted for the additional 30 minutes and glad we did! Kids did not want to stop playing in the gym. Highly recommend for an easy birthday party planning experience.

Today, we were told that memberships must be canceled 30 days in advance, even though the website clearly states notice must be given by the 25th of the month. We were planning to freeze our membership over the summer, and the interaction quickly became hostile. The staff member also told us that makeup classes could not be used for holiday closures, despite that policy also being outlined on their website. To make matters worse, we were not even given credit for the holiday closure until we specifically asked about it, at which point they said they would "look into it." Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. This is especially disappointing because we were hoping to find a gymnastics gym we could stay with long term. If you are looking for a well-run gymnastics program for your children, I would not recommend this location.

Very disappointing business! I had my daughter in the wait list at Tustin for the past 6 months to…read morego at the same time as my son. And we're checking with the reception every week to see if it is her turn. For 6 month every week the reception lady said my daughter is number 1 in the wait list. One week we miss the class and didn't ask for her turn. Now the reception is telling me that my daughter lost her turn because I didn't respond to their email within 48 hours. Very bad communication! Very disappointing! How can she see me every week asking and they don't bother to make a call or text when it is my daughter's turn. Now probably it will take another 6 months of wait because she is number 2 on the waitlist! Seriously no sense of customer care for these kids and no respect for parents at this business!

We first did the free trial with them, and were pleasantly surprised to see a family-owned business with the most awesome and understanding owners, Era and Ruth. Their sweet kids come out and help as well. We decided the second we left that this would be a great experience for our daughter, and she's trusting them more and more with each lesson. Our daughter usually gets irritable at activities like gym, and while her attention still needs work, she seems to enjoy the environment a lot and is improving little by little! As a parent, I couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend this place as a safe space for your kids to learn gymnastics!

They have told me twice now that I am not allowed to stand in the room, where my daughter is doing gymnastics. They asked that I sit in a crammed room with other parents who cannot see half of what their kids are doing. It smells like feet. They don't use air conditioning. They were rude to me. They yelled at me in front of everyone. It was very unnecessary and dramatic. I do not recommend coming here. The gym isn't the best. It's not like they're gonna make any Olympians out of those kids. If you want a real gym go somewhere else. It's only fun for learning cartwheels.

When she transitioned to Girls 1, there was no difference in what the Preschool class was learning. There is no organization and no system to assess the gymnasts' skill set. The coaching from most is terrible. Young girls who don't know how to connect with kids. They seem not to care and just "get through" the session. There is no guidance given, the coaches simply tell the girls which skill they are doing with absolutely no oversight. I gave it a good 8 month trial but ultimately decided to stop when I saw no advancement, just the same repetitive skills in each class with zero REAL coaching, in addition to my 5 year old saying, "gymnastics is boring now". It's pretty frustrating to watch. If you want your children to be elite, this is not your gym.
