Great store to walk through for gift giving ideas. Unique finds. Super friendly staff. Please come and create your own adventure.

Loved the selection here for the prices! A fair amount of things here are imported from Japan & from my past few visits the inventory does change periodically. One of my favorite items they have currently yuzu sencha, which I brought back from JP for my family which they loved! The designs of course are super simple yet nice & everything makes for great gifts for your loved ones.

The cutest selection of Japanese tableware, as well as mugs, glasses, and Matcha supplies! The store has a rotating selection of brand new items and very unique gifts that is perfect especially for the holiday season. There are a lot of imported options from Japan as well as local artists. They carry brands such as kinto too! The staff is very friendly and willing to explain any of your questions and they even offer beautiful gift wrapping. definitely will be back as they always have something different each time I go.

I was on the hunt for a cute shop to get some small Christmas gifts this year and I saw someone post about Orange Market Tableware on TikTok. I stopped by on an evening before closing and the woman working was friendly as I quickly searched for a gift for my friend. They have a pretty decent selection of chopsticks that are handmade so I ended up getting a pair for my sushi-loving friend. There was also cute tableware, glassware, and other baubles. I would come back for another gift-giving occasion.

I love love love this place! First of all, this cute little shop is located in the same plaza as Ranch 99 Supermarket so you could expect a bit of a challenge of finding a parking spot during rush hours. I came in today at 10:45am on Wednesday morning and there were plenty of parking spots available. The shop was empty, which was perfect for photo-taking. They have so many cute stuff, mostly made in Japan (CMIIW), and the price is very reasonable in my opinion. I ended up getting some of the matcha bowl, tea cups, and chopstick rests. They are all kawaii! The cashier was friendly and attentive. She recommended me to check out their monthly wagashi workshop. Definitely interested since I'm a big fan of Japanese confectionery. Can't wait to come back whether it's for a workshop or just plain old retail therapy, I am down.

Orange Market Tableware is a gem of a store in Irvine that deserves more attention and recognition! This spot is home to some of the best artisanal Japanese cutlery and tableware you can find. This spot is located right next to 99 Ranch and there are a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a variety of items ranging from tea pots, utensils, cutlery, artwork, knick knacks, and more! Everytime I stop by here, I always find something new that I want to bring home with me. As far as pricing goes, prices are fair and reasonable given the premium quality of the items. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you are moving into a new spot or just looking to upgrade from what you currently have at home. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming.

Very adorable shop,This store has a truly impressive and unique collection of cat-themed tableware. l've never seen so many options in one place: dinner plates, salad bowls, teacups, serving platters, and even chopstick rests. The designs are creative and clearly sourced from various artists, which I really appreciate.

A lovely place! This is my favorite shop for tableware and the owner is super friendly!! I really enjoy shopping at this store

Woo-hoo! I had been wanting stainless steel kitchen scissors, but I refuse to pay the $20 price I had been seeing in the chain stores. I found a great pair here for less than half that price. The kind that allows you to separate the blades to ensure a thorough washing so there won't be any food bacteria buildup between the blades. I even found, and purchased, some small glass soft boiled egg holders. Who sells those anymore? They each have a removable silicone collar for easy washing. A small detail, but appreciated. I had to walk through the aisles twice to make sure I didn't miss anything because there were so many items to see. And if you can't find what you're looking for, just ask the owners for help. They will be more than happy to help you. So, I found a good selection, fair reasonable pricing, offered by a couple of very fine people. I got what I needed and I supported a local merchant. I'd say that was a win-win.

TAWDI appeared highly rated, but it was also basically the only choice. Walking in to Mickey Mouse greeting you, it's a very homely, organized, and oddly empty shop with some Middle Eastern influence. They are big on marketing for their Dubai chocolate offerings, which I did try. The lady who helped was very kind, offering us each a sample by the chocolate type we liked. As she explained how they make chocolate in the back daily, I had to inquire about popular selections and what some flavors were. Basically, they seem to focus on Dubai chocolates and have some imported goods from Lebanon. While I trust that they make chocolates daily, I have to question how much, what flavors, and what is being turned over, because the sample I ate and the chocolates I opened up later certainly had obvious chocolate bloom, and yes they were stored at an appropriate temperature and eaten on the same day. At the price these pieces were, they certainly shouldn't have chocolate bloom nor taste like old chocolate. The filling of their Dubai bar was nice, crunchy, and moist, but the exterior chocolate shell didn't really have a taste. I am fine with paying a premium for premium-tasting chocolate and often do it, but I would have preferred eating grocery store chocolate, honestly. I'm not sure what others are tasting or whether people reviewing TAWDI are actually into chocolate, but I was disappointed when I didn't enjoy these.

We had questions and were clearly interested in making a purchase, yet no one offered assistance or even basic customer service. It was surprising, especially seeing that they're hiring, because customer acknowledgment should be the bare minimum. What made it even more upsetting was that we felt completely ignored as customers of Asian descent while others seemed to receive attention. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome.
