But the customer service has changed, and the prices are out of the planet. It's so embarrassing how I would refer all these people and now they're calling me that they charge for a every little thing and when they speak their mind kindly; they did a poor nail job due to being upset that the customer is upset. I almost feel like I have to pay the people I reference to come here , bc they hate the experience! The customer has the right to be upset, after going so many times to then be treated differently and provide horrible service bc they are upset. Not even filing the edges, leaving them super sharp. The vibe has always been cool, but it always seems that the employees now mad dog people that don't get the $100 packages. Go work at Beverly Hills if that's what you're looking for. I've only been to Herbal Nails & Spa twice, and I can confidently say this place has earned a forever client. My first visit, I booked a builder gel manicure with Steven and immediately fell in love. Not only did I get nonstop compliments, but the gel lasted a solid three weeks before I even thought about changing the color. Fast forward to my most recent visit, I went back for the same builder gel manicure with Steven and added a gel pedicure with Van, and WOW. Both of them are incredibly kind, professional, fast, and detail-oriented. You can truly tell they care about their work and their clients. Every visit has been an amazing experience. I live over half an hour away and happily make the drive because this salon is 100% WORTH IT. I even decided to really test the longevity of the builder gel and let my nails grow out. It's been almost five and a half weeks, and they're still going strong. That alone speaks volumes. (I'll be going in this weekend to switch colors for Christmas because I can't resist LOL.) Remember when I said I wouldn't fall for another nail tech. Well, I did and she moved so I followed her and the one who does our (my husband and I) pedicure. Laura is the best when it comes to my nails. I don't have to say anything. She just makes it look good every time. No matter the occasion, the destination, etc. I ALWAYS get so many compliments. Even my husband hypes her up. So many photos in my phone! Mindy is your girl when it comes to pedicures though. My husband started going with me and now he goes at a different time! Stupidly, I got a fill of gel builder at another salon. 10 days in, it was no longer shiny, my nails were starting to lift, and it had chipped very badly in 2 places. Looked awful! Gloppy and thick nails and I wanted it OFF! I made a same day appointment with Miss Van. She had to soak it all off and start over. It took a lot of filing and effort but she patiently fixed me up. So glad we finally found this salon - not sure how we were missing it! It's just down the street from our house. The salon is kinda tucked in a strip mall next to a Stater Bros. Maybe it has been here, but they went through a remodel because it's really nice inside. I like the ambiance. It's big inside and spread out real nice so you don't really feel like the person next to you is in your space, but it's not too spread out that if you're with a friend, you can still have a conversation. I have only had a Pedi here and I was real happy with it! So we're back for another one. My hubby has been a good sport and he has come with me both times and has gotten a pedi too. I have gotten An both times - she's real sweet and does a really nice massage. My hubby had Crystal and he said that he was happy with the Pedi he got. *Just a side note - if you're into designs, you should probably have an idea of who the 'artists' are because I have a feeling that not all techs are comfortable doing designs. Paid $85 not including tip. The pricing is absurd. The length is so short and they talked me out of getting acrylic. They don't even clean your cuticles or cut them or clean the remaining of the glue that's under the nail. I'll never come back they totally (ripped me off) in no world Should an extra small full set cost $85. It's only been three days and four nails have already chipped. I found Herbal Nails & Spa on the Yelp app, of course! I normally do my own nails now, but once in a while, I still like to get pampered. I chose this place because it had been a while since I had a pedicure with massage (which is the main reason I go) and I needed my tootsies to he pretty for a mini UYE the next day. As I pulled into the parking lot, I couldn't help but feel like I was in a sketchy area of Orange. I'm not from this area, but as I walked up to the entrance, I was even more put off by a homeless person (or tweaker?!) who was literally laying in front of the shop. It was kinda freaky, to be honest. I made my way quickly inside and was greeted by the young lady behind the counter. I asked for the Organic Hotstone Spa Pedicure. I was seated in a matter of minutes and enjoyed the treatment. Those massage chairs are the best! Sometimes, I get so relaxed that I forget to look for the remote control to turn on the actual massage features! I noticed during my service that the shop is very well ventilated. I like shops that don't reek heavily of nail polish. Blech! They keep the doors closed, so whatever they're doing, it's working!! I was very satisfied with how my pedi came out. When I paid, the lady mistakenly charged me $45 instead of $35, but I brought it to her attention, and she corrected it. I would come back again, but I hope no one is outside lingering. When I left, the person was still lying there!! Don't be scurrrrd, I promise it's nice inside and they do a good job! The prices are competitive and worth it in my opinion. Beware YOU have to do your own nails if you go here! My daughter just had her nails done. She told the lady she did not want them long. She wanted short. And she wanted them square not oval. The lady starts filing her nails when they were long. My daughter reminded her no, I want them short. Then after fixing them, she starts filing them as oval. My daughter said no I want them square. This person did not understand what it meant to file square although that is what most people get nowadays. So my daughter had to file ALL of her own nails! All because this lady had no clue what square nails were. All of this took 3 1/2 hours because someone didn't know how to do nails working at a nail salon. My daughter is not a nail technician. She should not have to do her own nails. Then not even later that day not even half a day later a nail breaks. We contacted the store. They will not refund her. My daughter has no confidence that they will do a good job. They tell her come back in. We fix it. Why would we want them to redo her nails when they didn't even know what to do in the first place?! She was also scheduled for a pedicure. They did not book this properly to have enough staff to do both things at the same time. This is very unprofessional, not good customer service and we definitely do not recommend them at all!!! read more

I got a new set, medium-length coffin-shaped, and Gel X manicure. Miss Tammy is my new favorite nail tech. She knows how to turn my working hands into princess hands. I'm a fan of hand-drawn art and added beautiful summer flowers to the design. It's been officially one week since getting my new set, and I still get so many compliments I appreciate that she asked me if I liked my nails at each step she took. I didn't need the nails fixed, I just wanted them to be aware that they were cutting skin on the side of my nail and my finger hurt so much I couldn't do anything with it. I spent around $110 on gel x for my finger nails because they kept upselling me and did not want to do anything less than gel nail builder or gel x. I also bought my friend a $110 gift card from here. So when I decide to rebook to get them done again they have no appointments and their systems are down! They had no problem texting or taking appointments prior! They had no intention of being more careful or taking me ever again. I gotta say in all my years of getting nails done I have never had this happen and now my friend is reluctantly stuck going here without me! At any rate, I am getting my gel x removed elsewhere and I am happy to go somewhere where they are kind and honest. I just feel bad that I bought a gift card from here for my friend.
