I just finished my free first time class with Carlie at 7:45pm. She's an AMAZING coach. I highly recommend taking one of her classes if you can.! Overall, the gym was clean. They provided wipes so after your done with the machine you can quickly wipe down your station. In the room they had a water fountain with the spout to fill your water bottle as needed. Also, they provide a locker for all your things and a closet for your jacket. The front desk associates especially Becca. She was so friendly. Answers my calls and texts in a timely manner. She was knowledge about the memberships as well as the training. The only cons are the price. It's about $160 A MONTH for unlimited classes. They do have more affordable options with just less classes. I wish I was able to afford it because, it was a good experience. I will have to take a class another time!

This place is full of positive energy, perfect for working out. Our instructor Trevor was enthusiastic and accommodated everyone's fitness abilities. All the other trainers were extremely helpful too. Great gym with new equipment. This entire gym was sparking clean as well. The class itself pushed you to your limits without going too far. Each member gets a fitness tracker that will measure your heart rate and will give you stats after class. I hope to return sometime soon!

No mention of if you are just 2 minutes past 12 they will just turn you away.

Is there a parking lot or somewhere easy to park?

To my knowledge, there's just street parking. We were able to find parking easily and nearby on a Saturday afternoon though!

I can't say enough good things about her and the things she's doing at Soul. She's a top notch trainer and is just an all around great person. Her workouts are always challenging and tuned to your needs. In addition to personal training, I've done a few of the other classes. On Tuesday's Kellen M does a Primal Movement class. If you've never done Primal (MovNat, etc.) then you don't know what you're missing. This is truly "functional" fitness at it's best. On Fridays Marina H does a strech class that is phenomenal. If I didn't already have another contract gym membership, I'd just stick with Soul. Their overall schedule is well-rounded with strengh, yoga, kettlebells and other movements. They also puts on a bunch of community activities like Maker's Markets and fun events like roller skating (if only I could). Do your body a favor and give them a try!

I really have appreciated Eileen's guidance and how much emphasis there is on movement, function, and form. The workouts always have modifications, and I appreciate that everyone moves at their own pace (and that moving quickly is rarely the emphasis). Since I've been coming, I feel (and look!) stronger, more comfortable using gym equipment, and increased awareness of how my body moves. I like that there is a wide variety of offerings throughout the day, a diversity of ages and backgrounds in clientele, and a little bit of something for everyone. There are events, like an annual Brewer's tailgate, in addition to hosting different practitioners of fitness/nutrition/wellness. I think that Eileen's has got something going on that more gyms could look to and that Soul Collective is worth giving a try if you're looking for a gym that values movement and holistic health!

I had a YMCA membership but have…read morealways been curious about the WAC and how if might differ/be better, etc. My initial impression was, I'm in a gym on a college campus. It was busy when I went (5:30pm on a Monday) which made getting a leg or arm circuit done on the weight machines a bit tricky. Now, if you wanted to use an elliptical or other cardio equipment those machines were mostly open. Some things I absolutely loved about this WAC location: The indoor track inside (9 laps = one mile). In the winter, it's like you're walking in a snow globe. There are huge floor to ceiling windows that offer great city views. The staff! Very warm, helpful, patient and kind. The steam room and sauna in the locker rooms. Keys to lockers are provided as well as towels and there's shaving cream in the locker room showers. Free parking so long as you download the parking app used here and scan the QR code before leaving the gym (parking is free for up to 3 hours). Olympic size/caliber weight room on the second floor (this gym is only two floors and does not have a gym). After my one day workout sesh, will I be back? If I lived downtown on the east side of the city then yes I would hop on the WAC train and member up. But being a 15 minute drive from downtown, and not always in the mood to workout after work I don't think I will be calling this gym "mine" any time soon. Regardless, it was a lot of fun to try this location out and to see the nice amenities the WAC has to offer downtown.

While one of the smaller WACs, it has lovely views of the city from its location on the 6th floor of the 411 building. Theres an indoor track that runs along the outside of the gym, and a second floor (the 5th) has more weight training areas and another group exercise studio. They do a lot of classes if you're into that sort of thing, and while the equipment isn't super fancy it gets the job done and there isn't usually too long of a weight fot anything. The great thing about the WAC is I consider it a "full service" type of club with free lockers, towels, coffee, very nice showers and other services (for a fee ) like PT and massage. The WAC is more expensive than a planet fitness but you definitely get what you pay for here No pool sadly at this site but there is a steam room (and maybe a sauna?) In the locker room. Nice friendly environment to work out in - 5 stars!
