Machines ate $1.50. The hoses fall apart as you try to use them. Tokens are for a dollar so if run out of quarters you end up paying an additional .75 when the machine only needs .25 more. What a waste. read more

Vending machines take your money and you do not get the product. It is overly expensive. They need to keep an attendant on site or give a number to call when the machines rip you off! I will never go back to this place. I'll sped my car wash money elsewhere. read more

Awesome service, price, and location. Simple carwash for $9.95 which includes an exterior hand wash, spot free rinse and blown dry. I got the Solar System Wash for $12.95 which has a triple foam polish clear coat protectant, tire dressing and hand finish on top of what the simple wash offers. Great customer service and they have free vacuum station and easy access, in and out of the parking lot. Would visit again! read more

Tip: If you're coming just for the vacuums, unlike other DIY car washes that keep them in a separate location, Orbit has them attached to the wash bays. read more

Great car wash with 4 stalls or a hand wash. Never had to wait in a line either. Accepts both cash and cards. Once I met the owner/ manager who was very nice and came by to chat. The only downside is the roof is not long enough to keep my car in the shade so the soap tends to dry and the foam brush line was spraying me from the ceiling hook up with fluid as I was cleaning. This has happened more then once and in different stalls. Convenient locations so I will probably keep coming back. read more

This place is a life saver! Orbit has been my go-to place in Sacramento since they opened. Conveniently located near major freeways, this place always feels clean, well-lit and well-maintained. The owner clearly takes pride in their business. The $1 vacuums function better than the ones at local gas stations, the rates are reasonable and the hours they keep make it great for commuters who need something in a jam. I've never seen someone leave this place unsatisfied. read more

I am incredibly disappointed in this place. I selected the Universal Wash, and the automated machine stopped halfway through the wash and went offline. There are no employees around to correct or start things over, so I had to leave with a 1/2 washed car. No reason to go back, ever. read more

This is a nice new and clean self service car wash. They also have an automated drive thru, but I have not tried it.

I was pretty impressed by this self serve car wash. I felt really safe and comfortable. I paid $7 to wash my car, $1 for armor all cleaner, and $2 for vacuuming (I paid 2x). I always feel like self serve car washes say they have wax as an option, but it's really watered down. This place made my car look super shiny :) I would encourage people to bring a towel to dry. The self wash is fine. A little bit expensive. But the vacuum is so weak that it doesn't pick up anything. That is really what I need, wont come back because of that. read more

After reading in another review that they were able to email and get a response, I did just that and received a response not even an hour later. They did end up making it right and I'm sure I'll be coming here in the future. Well, it does seem that righting wrongs is a priority for this establishment. Even after a few hiccups. However, I will say the hassle wasn't exactly worth it. I wanted a quick wash, but instead I got a wash that took weeks to complete. Because do the continued contact to correct the machine malfunction, I've changed my rating. Expensive for one. Also, the divider between stalls is not floor to ceiling, so if someone washes at the same time as you, you have the potential of getting your feet wet. Stalls are not big enough, you constantly bang on the stall walls as you clean. Fancy place, with some serious design flaws. read more

My go-to, do it yourself carwash in Sac. The owner keeps it clean and tidy. Every once in awhile the vac is clogged and doesn't have full sucking power, but they always give me tokens to use a different one while they fix the problem. Way more environmentally responsible than washing with a hose at home. read more

I like this handy dandy car wash that is near my home. When my car becomes un-driveable I take her here for a quick scrub down in the drive thru. The discount code on Facebook is pretty great and I use it every time. It's simple and a clean and well maintained facility. read more

I was in and out (while staying in my car) in ~15 minutes for a thorough exterior wash and dry (Universe Wash) for under $20. All of the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful and did a great job on my car. My favorite place yet! read more

I used the automated car wash, which did a fine job. It was easy to use, quick, and only $8. It was not as good a job as a hand wash obviously, but was good enough for me. Then I used the vacuum. It was a little pricey. $5 for 7 minutes. Plus, in the last 3 minutes the suction quality really went downhill. The attendant was nice and I will definitely use this place again. read more

But what sucked was having my car die and then worker dude coming out to bitch at the tow truck driving for partially (definitely not completely) blocking the entrance to the drive thru wash to jump my car. Prologue: I made the mistake of leaving my Highlander parked under a tree all Christmas vacation, so it was completely covered in sap and dirt. Review: These guys were a awesome! The hand wash changed my car from a filthy pile to looking great only 15 minutes after arriving with 2 cars in front of me in line. What a great find! For $10.00 you get your car hand washed and dried. If you check in with Facebook you get a free upgrade. They are aware of water conservation and recycle the water. Lane, who is the owner, is super friendly and helpful. They even have vacuum cleaners you can use to vacuum your own car. You also get a punch-card so once you buy 7 washes your 8th one is free. First time here today and these guys were great! I meant to get cash on way but forgot; good thing they can run debit and you can tip them on it too! The guy helping me explained the process as I was nervous and have a new car that my husband was specific needed to be hand washed only for right now. My car seems to get SO dirty now that I live in midtown and rarely use enclosed parking--I loved this place! The workers here are always super friendly and helpful. But I have to give them only three stars for getting rid of their $10 hand wash and dry. I'm so disappointed! Like others have said, that was my favorite part of Orbit Wash. It was a great deal.
