I have nothing but good things to say about this place and their employees. Just got back from a weekend at Pismo beach. I rented a CanAm Turbo from them and had a blast. Worth every single penny! You may think what they charge is expensive but try and rent a Atv or Utv from the businesses in Pismo and you'll realize how reasonable their prices are. The best part is you have it for as long as you want. No, oh shit I gotta have the rental back in 10 mins nonsense. Most of the ATVs and UTVs you rent on the beach are beat up, rusted and in horrible shape; hours of abuse from inexperienced riders and salt water take a toll on the equipment and it shows. I know because we do yearly trips to Pismo and I've always rented from Arnie's or Steves ATV. Not to knock them because they are friendly people, but their equipment just sucks. ‍ I picked up OCRVs CanAm and it was flawless!Clean, and ready to rip. I also walked around their place and saw that the rest of their rentals. They're all updated and clean. Not like the other places TBH. I will definitely come back here EVERY SINGLE YEAR from now on. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm concerned that this company generates More revenue from charging people for damage, than actual rental services. There was superficial aesthetic scratches as you can see in the photo. We were told, that these tiny scratches are worth 25% of the entire cost of the part ($1400). Do you think these scratches justify 25%? In reality, it's more like 0.1% of the cost. --so how many customers will they do this to? 10? And reap a 250% return on this part? -HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. I'm all for paying for damages but this is ridiculous. The money maker is charging customers for cumulative replacements. You're NOT SUPPOSE TO PROFIT OFF DAMAGE CHARGES. Rented two Seadoo Spark jet skis from these guys from Friday to Sunday. The return process totally sucked. They only have one person working on Sunday so I waited over 2.5hrs to make my return. Waited outside their gate for 40mins. Another rented was already waiting. The only person there takes 45mins to do his return inspection. After waiting for near an hour the renters in front of me finally got escorted off the property. Upon inspecting my rentals he pointed out a scratch on my jetski rental. The scratch was pretty superficial. The seadoo sparks are made mostly out of plastic and polytec unlike traditional jetskis that are made of mostly fiberglass. Fiberglass damage needs repairs to prevent more damage to the surrounding fiberglass, however, the plastic and polytec damage does not need to be repaired. The small scratch was the size of a pinky fingernail clipping from a part that was nearly the entire surface of the ski. Basically the area you would stand on. The parts price was quoted at ~$1200. His inspection required me to pay for a 1/4 of the $1200 part and 1/4 of the labor it would be to replace the part. A quarter of the price was ridiculous in my opinion. I asked if he could give me deal and give me 1/10 of the cost for parts and labor. It seemed more reasonable than paying over $300 for a scratch in some polytec/plastic that was likely intended to take some abuse. I was surprised he was even considering that small scratch as damage. It blow my mind that they would do this kind of BS to a customer. By the looks of it, this has happen before. The pictures indicate the part that would be replaced. Again, my scratch was the size of a little fingernail clipping. The part is massive in comparison to the scratch. read more

We LOVED our jet skis. Everyone that worked there is knowledgeable and helpful! I would highly recommend this place. The only part that I found frustrating is the check in and check out times - way way longer than any other companies. We checked out two jet skis and the return took 40 minutes!! They video everything and also check oil levels, etc. I guess that's how they run such a clean business. Also - they charge for cosmetic damage (most places do NOT do this - I have rented jet skis lots of times from elsewhere) again - allow time for the annoying long check in/outs but otherwise GREAT EQUIPMENT and GREAT PEEPS!!! We've rented a pair of Jet Skis from Matt at Orchard City RV a couple times now. We have a yearly guys camping trip we take to Lake Camanche, and wanted some Jet skis to bring with us. Matt is an easy guy to deal with, and made the whole rental process very streamline and painless. They accept cash and credit, and are very flexible with pickup and drop off times. Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant at first due to the fact they don't have insurance you can buy for their rentals. But after speaking with Max, I was able to trust them a little more and give them a shot; and glad I did. Rented a single Honda jet ski for a Friday-Monday long weekend. They without a doubt have the best rates around. I was also able to pick up the ski Thursday night for an acceptable added fee. The ski was in great looking condition and the engine compartment looked even better. Started her up for a few seconds and it sounded perfect. No problems getting the trailer hooked up and off I went. This thing was fast. For as old as this ski was and being a rental, it performed as if it were brand new. There are brand new $17,000 skis that don't go as fast as this one did. Our whole party had a great time with this ski and did not have any issues. Return was simple and no issues were brought up. I did treat their ski with care and returned it how I got it. Enjoyed talking with a few of the employees during pick up and return and would not hesitate to rent from these guys again. I was super stoked on the Seadoo jet skis my buddies and I rented for a weekend. They were fast and loads of fun. Unfortunately, we were charged an arm and a leg for pretty insignificant cosmetic damage by docking the skis to a small boat dock. The area of the ski is designed to rub up against a docking area. They should have thrown in some bumpers if they didn't want any scratches. I think that by renting equipment, they understand that people use them, damage them slightly, and then they can charge extra for that. We've were trying to get our hands on a couple of quads of our own but the stars just didn't align so we decided to rent for our trip to Pismo. OCRV was STELLAR with our last minute reservations, phenomenal on pricing and incredibly accommodating for pickup/drop off. One of the quads did fail us on our first day but there was likely no way to foresee the issue prior to our trip. Rented two quads here, first day out one gets a flat tire so there goes 300$ wasted for something we can't even use camping with no service. Bring the quad back after the rental period and was told I had to pay to replace the wheel which is fine, the guy there when I was dropping off said it wouldn't be more than 60$. But here I am with a charge for replacing BOTH front wheels 180$ later. Totally lied to I can buy one wheel online for 60$ and I get charged 180$ for two wheels. I rented two quads from Matt at OCRV: the Honda trx 400ex and the Suzuki 250. Both were a blast to ride, and were in great shape. I would say that the 400 was a bit more fun just because it has a full 5 speed manual transmission and of course a bit of extra power. The 250 was no slouch though, and kept up with the 400 just fine for us novice riders. The 250 has a clutch-less "manual" transmission. We brought them out to Hollister Hills SVRA using OCRV's ~12' trailer, which we also rented for a small fee. We made some small talk while at HH with some random guy who was surprised that our machines were rentals because they looked so good. This is a testament to how well Matt keeps these maintained. I never had any issues with them, but I knew that he was only a cell phone call away if we needed anything. He was easy to work with and we exchanged many emails and phone calls throughout the process. When I picked up the machines he gave me a tutorial on how to operate them. This was very much appreciated because I had never ridden ATVs before. As it turns out, they're just like motorcycles but with two extra wheels. We paid about $400 for the full weekend with the two ATVs and trailer, and Matt and Gabe were super flexible with the pickup and drop off times and locations. They even let me borrow a ball hitch free of charge and installed everything for me when I arrived. I felt like a bit of a goon just standing there watching them work, but they were super nice about it. I price checked some other places nearby (there really aren't many in the bay area), and OCRV offered the best value. Note that they do not currently have helmet rentals, so you would need to find one on your own. If you don't have anyone to borrow from, the most cost effective option we found was the Bilt brand of motocross helmets from Cycle Gear in SJ. We got ours for $55 on sale, and will probably try to sell them on Craigslist or something now. You will probably also want to wear gloves, but any old work gloves or mechanics gloves will work great. Goggles are a good idea too - we used ski goggles. I would definitely recommend Matt and OCRV for any future ATV rentals. I hope to have the opportunity to try renting an RV from him in the future as well. read more

Just got back from my buddies bachelor party where we stayed down at Pismo Beach, thanks to Matt and his team this weekend was awesome!!! We had been planning this trip for quite a while now and have been talking with Matt about renting 6 ATVs and 1 four seater RZR 1000, but unfortunately amongst all the guys that we're going none of us had trucks to tow all the equipment down there so without hesitation Matt made arrangements with us to get everything down there for us!!! Once we got down there Matt and his team had everything set up for us, they let us set up camp right next to them and got all 21 guys set up and ready to ride! 1/2 of the guys had never even ridden before but with their clear guidance and directions everybody was riding in know time!!! They made sure to explain to us how the ATVs can take more of a beating in the sand than the RZR and so when we were out there riding to make sure we did not get too crazy and break it because that would definitely ruin the trip, but surprisingly everyone did awesome and we made sure not to brake anything!!! At the end of it all this was definitely an awesome and memorable trip thanks to Matt and his team!!! We were interested in reserving an RV for our upcoming trip to the National Parks. After several attempts to reach the manager (to ask if we could see the units in person) with no response, we reserved an RV online, as we were pretty certain it would work for us and we didn't want someone else to reserve it out from under us (inventory is pretty limited). As bad luck would have it, we realized that, after viewing dozens of RVs on several different sites, we had gotten mixed up and chose the wrong RV. We were a mere six days past our reservation date and more than 90 days from our reservation, so we contacted management to tell him about our mistake (this RV had two beds and we are five people - clearly, this was a mistake). He offered to provide a queen size air mattress for our son, which we politely refused because a) where do we put an air mattress and b) who wants to deal with inflating/deflating every day & night? With five people already crammed in an RV, we just didn't see how that would work. He then offered to swap out reservation for a smaller RV, but again, not what we're looking for. We asked for our deposit to be refunded or even partially refunded. After all, he spent zero time or effort helping us to make the reservation, so what and who exactly are we paying with over $500? We would've been happy to pay $100 or even $150 for our mistake and the inconvenience. But keeping over $500 for an innocent mistake caught within the week and over 90 days away from the reservation when other companies cancel without fee all the way up to one week before the reservation is completely unreasonable. One star for poor service, limited inventory, and unreasonable policies. I should note that our rental agreement says nothing about cancellation policy. Per management, we clicked a box to agree with terms. Again, we visited several sites and they were all the same. Innocent mistake is now costing us over $500. Update: After leaving a review on Yelp and going back and forth with the manager, we were able to get a full refund. Buyer beware - read your agreement and make absolutely sure you know what you're getting before signing to avoid a stressful hassle! read more

I got solar panels and a controller installed on my trailer by Matt, I can definitely recommend his services! He was on time, early actually, and met me at my trailers storage facility. He followed me into the storage area to my trailer and once we got to the trailer I explained what I wanted. I already had the panel, wiring, mounting hardware and controller purchased off Amazon. He got to work right away, inspecting the trailer for the best wiring path and was on the roof in minutes. Mounted the panel securely and passed the wiring into the trailer via a closet. From there we went down to the storage compartment and over to the batteries. He wired everything up for me and mounted the controller in the battery bay. He also tested all of the electrical with his meter to ensure everything was working correctly. No fuss, easy to work with and we exchanged many emails prior to ensure everything would go smooth. I cannot say enough good things about Matt and his team at Orchard City RV. I had decided to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with a trip to Sand Mountain, NV complete with an RV and some sort of quad. After some research I contacted Matt who quickly responded with all of the information I needed. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very patient answering the MANY questions I had! He even helped me keep everything a surprise from my boyfriend until the final day! With his advice I decided on renting the toy hauler and Polaris RZR 1000. He was very flexible with the pick up time and location and both the toy hauler and RZR were in great condition. All of this already would have given me reason to give him 5 stars but his service really went above and beyond when shortly after leaving our truck's transmission blew out on the freeway. He not only was willing to help us get the trailer back safely by sitting on the side of the freeway for more than two hours (while we had tow truck issues), but he also worked with us to find another rental option so we could still have an amazing unforgettable trip. We ended up renting one of the motor homes with a trailer attached to the back so we could still bring the RZR. He even gave us a ride back to his lot from the side of the freeway in his personal vehicle. By the time all of this was done it was close to midnight and he had to be up before 6am the next morning! Thanks to Matt we still had an unbelievable trip and we couldn't have asked for anything more with the motor home and RZR. He was even available if we had any questions or concerns while we were in NV. The drop off was also extremely smooth and the price for everything couldn't of been better!
