Everything is so old. Office slow to respond. Wanted to pay for a month and had to go through "I don't know I'll have to see maybe I can shuffle things around week after week. The bottom lock to the restroom and shower was locked on a few occasions so no entry possible. Picnic table is dangerously neglected. No WiFi at you site. Road noise all day. I could go on.

I've been coming to this camp every MLK weekend since 2001 for RYLA leadership camp. The staff have…read morealways been kind and hard working. I've stayed in Vanderpool, Bluebird, Verner, and Fiesta. They've always had clean, warm beds and clean bathrooms. We have most of our it leadership activities in Tabernacle and A-Frame. We also use the Leisure House and the amphitheater. A few years ago we started using Tab East and Tab West. My primary job is AV. They upgraded their sound system in both Tabernacle and A-frame from last year and it is pretty awesome! They also had one wireless hand held mic and a lavelier mic for me to use. I brought in 6 of our own wireless hand held mics to plug into their system. Their video projector and mixer boards in Tabernacle, Tab West, Tab East and A-frame were wonderful. It's so nice when the tech works!! As always, confidence course (high ropes) are always a big hit for our campers! Challenge course (low ropes) is also a camper favorite. We also do bonfire on our last night of camp and the only down side to that is the 930pm sound ordinance. So over the years we have converted to playing acoustic music. I would give this camp 5 stars, but this past year, the new owners of the camp actually yelled at our RYLA chair in front of everyone, including the campers (who are high school students and are impressionable). It was bad taste, rude, and unnecessary. Also, they stopped providing dietary options for those who are gluten free. They only offer vegetarian as an alternative option. So we had adult volunteers who used their own money to make gluten-free and vegetarian options for our campers.

Very quiet park but very accommodating…read more They have a 24/7 room with laundry available, couple bathrooms, small tv with dish hookup, huge dvd selection, tons of books, couple board games, few puzzles and a couple exercise equipment. The property has small rocks throughout property but they did not allow a wood fire :( it was soooo cold! But we understand. There is a small gold course at the entrance of the park. It was fun playing it at night. The owner added lights specifically for the golf course and a little fountain. The attention to detail was there. There is a small dog park that is gated but meant for big dogs. Small dogs will walk right through the posts. We stayed here for a night and when we went to turn on our diesel bus, it wouldn't turn on. We eventually found out our gas filter froze overnight due to the elevation probably because we've stayed in colder places. So if you're staying here bring extra fuel help. We had added additive to help it from gelling but wasn't enough. Make sure to bring 911 something to help start it. We're definitely buy it. Owner very helpful and answered even tho New Year's Day.

I made reservations here at Rain Spirit RV about a month ago, planning for 2 days and 3 nights. We saw Sedona, took a tour, did some exploring, and a great train ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad, but ran out of time to see Jerome...so we inquired about extending our stay one more night. Gary, the owner, was very accommodating! The park itself is super cute, quiet, and extremely clean. We booked a pull-through site which is really easy access...We brought a second car that fits easily in the same site, too, and at no additional charge! The whole park is well maintained. There's a nice pool and jacuzzi, and private bath house with showers. Nights were dark, and we could see the stars, something we have trouble seeing in Vegas..park was extremely quiet no traffic noise!! We really had a great experience here, and would love to return soon!

rarely write negative reviews, but after a month-long stay at Rain Spirit RV Resort, I feel…read morecompelled to share my experience so that other travelers can make an informed decision. To be fair, the park has several positive attributes. The grounds are clean, the facilities are generally well maintained, and the location provides convenient access to Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by what I found to be an exceptionally poor customer service experience. The resort has approximately 68 sites. During much of our stay, occupancy appeared to be very low. At one point, there were only about 10 RVs in the park. My wife parked her car in a shaded, vacant site near our RV because there were dozens of empty spaces available and no impact whatsoever on other guests. Rather than a friendly conversation, I received the following email directly from the owners: "Please do not park or set up camp at other empty spots. We don't want our other guests to get the impression that the empty spots are open to all for use or park at." The second incident was even more disappointing. We had booked and paid for a full month. After spending two weeks in a largely empty long-term area, we noticed that a shaded site across the street remained vacant. Because Arizona temperatures were rising, we politely asked whether we could move to Site 26. The response from the owners was: "Guests moving from site to site is not in our vision of how we want our park to run." The issue was not that the answer was "no." The issue was the complete absence of any effort to accommodate a reasonable request from a long-term guest. The site was vacant. The park was far from full. No other guest would have been affected. Ultimately, the customer service experience became so frustrating that we decided to relocate our Airstream to another RV park before completing our planned stay. What happened next was perhaps the most telling part of the entire experience. There was no inquiry as to why we were leaving, no appreciation for our business after a month-long stay, and no effort to understand our concerns. Instead, the first and only communication I received was an invoice for our electricity usage. These communications came directly from the owners, which makes it difficult to dismiss the experience as the actions of a single employee. Hospitality is not measured by how many rules a business has. It is measured by how guests are treated. The park may be clean and well located, but I left feeling more managed than welcomed. For that reason, I would not stay at Rain Spirit RV Resort again and cannot recommend it to travelers who value hospitality, flexibility, and customer-focused service.
