He had two concerns within his bloodwork yet the techs here told me his bloodwork was completely fine? How do you miss something like that? The vets give good care if you can get in! Good luck on that though! Also know if you go here and you go get an appointment elsewhere (as I did when they were too busy to see me and were scheduling a month out!), you will be 86 from them. The ironic thing is I was actually told by one of their vets to go see this exotic specialist (for which I did) And now they say they cannot see me anyone because of this. I would question orchard vets ethics and morals as they are more about a business than caring for animals and when you need the help they will not be available unless it's the emergency $$$$ vet. Went there recently under the worst circumstances I could have imagined and throughout this painful experience, the staff was nothing but kind, compassionate and did more than I'd ever expected to help us. THE BEST period. The fact they only have 4.8 is appalling. NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE (or maybe do so they're not as busy and I can hoard their services). I have owned many animals in many places and have seen many many vets and there has absolutely NEVER been a vet as AMAZING as this one. We had an emergency this morning and they saved the damn day. You can tell every single team member here cares and loves animals loves their jobs and takes good care of the people they see too. Many vets I have been to understandably are bit detached and cold but not here. I had visited previously for an emergency with my other cat, they brought him in immediately and informed me he had a bladder obstruction and informed me they don't do overnight visits and they didn't even charge me (which is not something to expect but when youre panicking that your baby isn't gonna make it is such a gift). Jen was particularly wonderful I was a blubbering mess and she brought us updates as they were working on our poor baby and brought me tissues and was just the absolute sweetest. And Dr. Murphy was a god send as well I didn't get the privilege of speaking with you further but thank you for everything you did today. I previously had a very bad experience at another vet where I couldn't get there in time and unfortunately my pet was dead on arrival and they waited two hours to tell me she had passed. I was mortified of reliving a similar experience this morning but this is the absolute best experience I have ever had and hope we never go anywhere else. If anyone on staff reads this so very genuinely I thank you. So many people in this field do not take the same approach. Dr. Mischa Fincher and her staff are incredible. Knowledgeable, kind, take time to listen to your concerns and their follow up is impeccable. There is no doubt that they love what they do and care about their clients and animals. Their prices are excellent, the offices are always clean and they have a great selection of inventory of the top brands for food and supplements. There are few better feelings than knowing you're animals are going to receive 5 star care and unnecessary testing or charges aren't a concern because you can trust this team! We recently took our 17 year old cat to their Orchard Veterinary Urgent Care with hopes of figuring out why she's been so lethargic and nauseous. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful! They were especially helpful when I had to reschedule an appointment. It's hard to find good vets that take care of specialty pets (I have two rats), so I'm lucky I found these guys! I took my especially squirmy boy to get looked at since he had some scabs. The vet walked me through a list of possible causes, then gave me several treatment options, and worked with me to make sure we found the best solution for my baby. I was in and out within 30 minutes, which was amazing for my anxious rat. And his antibiotics only cost seven dollars! They even sent me a text the next day to check on how he was doing! Although Covid restricted me from going inside with my pet, going to this vet center was a great experience. I dropped my pup off at the curb and they took great care of her. The vet called me on the phone and we talked for a good amount of time. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. Best of all, I wasn't pressured into spending more money on optional vaccines. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a new vet to go to. read more

Well, won't be coming here again. I was told on two separate occasions that I would get a call back from the manager, I gave them a week and still nothing so here we are. My cat had surgery here about 7 months ago (Oct 2018, $1200.00) for his bladder stones. He was demonstrating a behavior that led me to believe that he had stones again so I called Orchard to see when I could get in for a visit. Chasya, the receptionist, let me know that there isn't anything available until next week unless I wanted to pay $90 for an emergency appointment. Money is a little tight since my husband is furloughed due to Covid. I said I'd call back, which I did about 3 hours later. I let her know I'd like to make an appointment for the next available day (he didn't seem to be in any pain, I've gone through more than one cat with Cystitis and stones so I know the signs). Chasya didn't seem to remember that I had called earlier and asked what he needed to come in for. I let her know and she asked me to hold on for a sec while she spoke to a doctor. Before she put me on hold, I said that would be great because all we really need is the urine testing, I don't need an exam. She seemed annoyed and said hold on. She came back on the line and said I could come in that day at noon, not once did she EVER mention the emergency exam fee on that second call and by the wording she chose, it sounded like they were just going to take him to the back, get what they needed and run the tests. Once he was ready to come home, I called to pick him up since they are still doing curbside service and Chasya gave me my total with no breakdown. $597. When I asked her to give me a breakdown of charges, she mentioned the $90 emergency fee, I let her know that she never mentioned that on our second call and I didn't even think we were doing an exam. I TOTALLY understand the need for an emergency exam fee! But the fact that she never mentioned it and made it sound like we were just testing (Caring Hands has done this for me more than once) really rubbed me the wrong way. She said she would check with her manager, I have a feeling she never let them know that she gave me the wrong information, and came back to let me know there's nothing they can do. I don't even care if they charge me the normal exam fee, I think it's ridiculous to charge me an extra $30 or so when I was never informed of such. Not to mention I spent $218 here a couple weeks earlier with my other cat. The vet assured me on two separate occasions that someone would follow up with me and, surprise, nobody ever did. I have 7 pets, apparently $30 means more to them than me spending money bringing my other pets here. When I first brought my cat here for his bladder surgery Oct '18, they thought his internal sutures may have come undone and charged me ($361.97) to put him back under and open him up again. He's an older cat who doesn't do much so how would his internal stitches come undone vs not done correctly? read more

I originally started seeing Dr. Mischa when I adopted an elderly Chow who needed acupuncture. I was so impressed that I opted to have her be his primary vet and soon all of my pets, who are my kids and my heart, were seeing her exclusively. I of course followed her when she opened her clinic with Dr. Katie, who we adore as well. Because I have elderly and special needs pets, they have treated some very unusual cases with amazing results. Numerous of my pets would be gone if not for them. I love how Mischa integrates so many modes of medicine into her treatment plan, gives options without pressure, and treats each animal as a unique individual. Dr. Knepler is always amazing with my pit mix who is super chill and often likes to sit on chairs/benches. She's always happy to do exams while my pup sits next to me on the chair. I've been searching for a new vet for awhile and am so happy I found Orchard and Dr. Katie Knepler. Our Westie developed adult onset allergies and over the past year we've struggled to find a vet that could help us with his symptoms. Dr. Knepler not only explained his condition in detail, but offered several different options for how to tackle his symptoms and pinpoint what is causing his allergies.She gave us instructions and asked us to email her with updates on how our dog is doing. She is clearly committed to the welfare of the animals she sees. All the other staff we interacted with were incredibly polite and knowledgeable. The vet office is very clean and smells great.
