We have been taking our 3 babies there for 8 years. Recently we lost our girl Daisy, she was 11 years old. Dr. Madole, Jan and the rest of the Animal clinic north family has ALWAYS treated us like we are family. Dr. Madole and his team has loved our babies like their own and cried with us, supported us and sent us a card and called the following week to check on us. Honestly I have never had a vet and his team care so much. We love them so much!!!!

Have been texting their appointment line every Monday for a month trying to get my 2 senior cats in for a wellness check. Week after week getting increasingly condescending remarks from them. It seems they are not actively accepting new clients but falsely advertising they are to generate more demand than is real. Get a new receptionist who knows how to look at a calendar and can communicate with people effectively, please.

I can't say enough about the compassion and sensitivity of the staff when I had to put my best friend to sleep after 13 years together. The sympathy card meant a lot with the personal signatures. THANK YOU!

Thank you. My two puppers' got in a little tiff and one ended up with a puncture wound to the lip. Animal Clinic North was able to help me out even though I wasn't a current customer. The service was professional, very friendly, fast, and affordably priced. I'm very thankful for your help. The dogs are friends again and little Oreo is feeling much better after receiving a couple of stitches and some antibiotics.

Horrible customer service! I'd never go here again, the people that answer the phone have no respect or manners when it comes to customers

One of my dogs is high anxiety and requires to be premedicated before visits. When I brought her in they said I had missed both appointments because they had it on a different day and that they had left messages that I did not get. Come to find out they saved my number wrong and when I asked about why an email wasn't sent the response was they don't save it until after my appointment when an account is made. This would maybe make sense if I had not emailed them my dog's records per their request so they did have it. So now my dog is high as a kite for no reason, lots of wasted time and energy getting them ready for today, and a new appointment can't be scheduled for week... a huge no thank you

Their focus was clearly on making sure Gus was healthy and that we left feeling confident and at ease. Their kindness and professionalism are unmatched. It's rare to find a veterinary clinic that balances expert medical care with such genuine empathy. We left with full hearts, peace of mind, and a happy, healthy pup. I followed Dr Abbott years ago when she started her own clinic in Erie , CO . I live in Boulder but getting to her clinic is easy for me - straight east down Baseline before reaching I-25. I have no doubt that the thoughtful care my cat received from Dr Abbott and her staff greatly contributed to my Kitty's quality of life . In her later years we discovered that my cat needed her anal glands expressed on a regular basis which Dr Abbott says is uncommon for cats . Dr Abbott really knew what she was doing in this regard plus used some sedation as this is not easy on the kitty ! In addition to Dr Abbott 's calm demeanor the cat room at Vista Animal Hospital has a fun fish tank for the felines along with special music, kind staff members, and cozy blankets . Dr Abbott also volunteers her time in other countries to spay and neuter stray dogs & cats . I highly recommend this veterinary hospital & will definitely be a client once more if I become a pet Mom in the future .

I want to share my experience with Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital (13741 Colorado Blvd, Thornton,…read moreCO) this past August 2025. Decades ago, I used them as my vet clinic, but they became too high in cost than other offices closer to me. It took me a long time to contemplate how I wanted to approach the unethical business practices happening at this business. On August 13, 2025, I contacted them about euthanasia for Noel, my almost 18-year-old kitty. At the time, Noel's health went down rapidly in a matter of 2 days. On that day, I made the difficult decision to have her humanely euthanized. I made a call to my established veterinary office and they were unable to schedule an appointment that day so I made calls to several vet offices looking for available appointments, but also getting price quotes, since we all need to be price conscious during these difficult times. Even though, Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital was priced higher, I chose to use their services. WHAT A MISTAKE! A friend and I were placed in a room after standing in their lobby for an extended amount of time after we arrived. In the room, while we waited to have the vet euthanize Noel, the vet tech managed the financial part of the transaction - IN THE EXAMINATION ROOM! My friend and I were crying our eyes out while I held on to Noel tightly for the last time and the amount charged was significantly HIGHER than what I was quoted on the phone. I wasn't in a position to leave and go to another clinic close by or the emergency vet hospital. Noel wasn't doing well, and I didn't want her to suffer. I value transparency and integrity in veterinary care, and I was disappointed to encounter price gouging or, at the very least, a failure to honor a clearly communicated quote. A week later or so, I called and eventually spoke to the office manager and explained the situation. I requested a refund to match the quoted price, and she was unreasonable about the situation. She acknowledged that a new employee provided the quote but was unwilling to honor it. She even told me the new employee would be disciplined because of the error. At that point, I mentioned perhaps coaching was a better choice. This experience left me feeling misled and financially strained, especially since I made decisions based on the information provided to me. I was very deliberate when I obtained and documented the quotes. I had each office's quotes written down giving a notebook page to each one I called. I asked the same questions to each office to make sure I had an accurate picture of what to expect before making the decision on what clinic to use. The total price they charged was $655.50 which included euthanasia, cremation with her ashes returned and the cremation urn. These charges were approximately $150 higher than originally quoted. Given my experience and what I feel was an exploitation of my grief, I would NEVER consider using Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital again. **UPDATE** - The Office Manager emailed and called me today (November 10th) offering me a full refund. I wonder why it had to come to this? It's sad that these small community businesses are being bought by these uncaring corporate businesses.

The cardiologist told me with with meds, we could get a year to a year and a half with her, well we got to love her for an additional 15 months. Then I called Community Pet Hospital, they said we could come any time, just to give them 30 minutes to prepare! I set a time, but when it got close, I panicked, called and rescheduled.... they were kind and understanding about it.... well I calmed down a couple of hours later, so called again and rescheduled. And you know what, they said "that is fine, we understand". We got there, with my girl dog, Frankie Lynn, they took us to a room they had set up, just for us, with the plaque in the photo. There was calming music playing, soft lights and just a very calming atmosphere. They gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes (and a new box of tissues) then they came in sedated her and it was over. I felt such a feeling of peace and calmness. Far cry from the wreck I was earlier. We chose to take her remains with us so they provided a nice carrier and let us out a back door. AMAZING! After about 20 minutes, I was taken into an exam room and about 10 minutes later a tech came in and triaged my cat. The decision was made to euthanize him. The technician told me that the doctor would be in. I began to grieve my baby boy. Little did I know that I would be left in the room with no communication for an hour. I finally stepped out and the receptionist told me that they would be in soon. About another 30 minutes, went by and I could no longer take it. I was 100% a wreck and made the decision to take him back home. I packed him up in his carrier and walked out. The receptionist told me they would be in soon, but I told her I can't do this anymore. I can't tell you how horrible it was to sit there and wait for the end only to not have it happen. I got home and my husband was extremely upset. He phoned the clinic and was lied to. The receptionist told him that I was told that it would be a 3 hour wait. Not true! If I had known, I was going to be there for 3 hours waiting to put my lovely boy down,I would've never done it.
