I was a patient at RI Rehab last year after an ankle surgery. My doctor originally referred me to a…read morespecialist, but I chose RI Rehab for it's proximity to my house (I couldn't drive after my surgery) and the hours listed on the website. FIRST, For anyone considering RI Rehab for the convenience of the hours, don't. The East Providence location has very limited hours. In fact, the website in general is a bit deceiving, as it kind of lumps all of their information about all of their locations together. Once I was a patient there I found out a) they hardly had time to fit me into their limited schedule and perhaps shouldn't have taken me as a patient at all and b) had such limited hours vs what was listed on their website, that once I went back to work I was going to have to stop therapy against my doctors recommendations. There are a few great benefits to RI Rehab. One unique feature is the fact that they have use of the pool at Healthtrax, for aquatherapy. I found this to be incredibly helpful with my rehabilitation and something I could not have found in most other places. I'd also like to point out that my PT, Mary, was wonderful. She was probably the reason I didn't leave that place sooner. She really cared about her patients and enjoyed what she was doing. If you do end up at RI Rehab, hopefully you end up with Mary and you have a flexible schedule - because they usually didn't!

I was in a great deal of constant pain and my mobility was severely restricted. I was, however adament about keeping life on as normal a routine as possible. I chose RI Rehab in East Providence for their proximity to my job. They were happy to schedule my pt sessions around my full time work schedule. The friendly staff welcomed me like a new family member! each session, Justine, my therapist would recommend new challenges and celebrate my progress. Because my condition commonly takes several months to fully recover, it took a great deal of patience on her part and mine, but she never ran out of resources to keep me motivated and with proven results every week. For the attention I received, the friendships I formed (in a situation that would have been otherwise miserable), and the successful results we achieved, I would highly recommend RI Rehab in E. Providence to anyone!

You can spend days and weeks looking for the right place for an elderly friend or relative, but once you look at Tockwotton, the choice is obvious. Challenging perhaps on pricing depending on one's means, but it's worth it to me to place my mom in an environment that makes her WANT to live (and eat and engage) and not have her in a 'cost-effective' facility the makes her NOT want to live. And Michael and Monica have been outstanding. We are just starting the process and are hoping it all works out. But bottom line is, if she ends up somewhere else, Tockwotton was our first (and really only) choice. Anything else will be second and not what we hoped for. Tim

I have never had any issues with my appointments in this office…read more I saw the complaint from the gentleman regarding Dr. Mac. I never heard of a Dr. Mac at Eager Family Dentistry. It's possible that individual was there and has since left. That being said, I know that Dr. Eager's name is on the business. I am a Quality Assurance professional. If any patient is unhappy with how he or she has been treated at any medical office, ask to speak to the top person. Dr. Eager goes out of her way to ensure that my visits are pain-free. I'm sorry for this gentleman's experience. We're all human, even medical professionals. Bad apples exist everywhere. If you're in pain, ask to speak with Dr. Eager. From a QA perspective, Management needs to know if employees are not meeting patients' needs. There are at least three reasons for this: 1.) The patient needs further care. 2.) There may have been other complaints against the individual. Let the business know because the more reports, the more accurate the picture is of what is going on. 3.) The office cannot take action nor respond if it doesn't know a situation exists.

Apparently, there is either a training issue or it is just a case of the fish rotting from the head down. It is unacceptable to leave someone hanging like this. If not for the fact that Dr. David Mastrostefano practices at that location, I would have chosen a dentist closer to home. Take pride in what you do or find another line of work!

Bottom of the barrel Healthcare…read more So after being stabilized at Roger Williams's hospital, I spent three weeks in Elmhurst nursing home to recover from pneumonia. However, the lack of proper basic hygienic care and the mistakes they made with my medication, as well as the maltreatment by staff and the incompetency by CNAs, nurses, nurse practitioners and administrators led to my being rehospitalized with three secondary infections - some of which were serious. After my first week there I wanted to get a transfer to another facility and started gathering testimony from the different professional caregivers (non-staff) who work at other facilities, most of whom confirmed to me that they feel helpless at addressing these problems in this facility... They take for granted that the Marquis group corporate owners, will not allow them to get either the staffing or the supplies they need at that place to provide proper care, and after talking with different residents, I can see that both subacute care patients as well as long-term residents have the same complaints... I regret not documenting accurately enough to file a lawsuit, but I am filing complaints with the Rhode Island health department and publishing reviews everywhere I can online to let the world know, this place is BOTTOM OF THE BARREL as far as nursing homes go... what is taken for granted there is that mistakes (some of which will be life-threatening) WILL be made and the general attitude of staff is "not my fault, not my job, not my problem". The State needs to investigate how they operate that facility, they need inspections and auditing... The national Health review board has already removed their rating. There are 200 beds and nowhere near enough staff and a lot of serious medication errors and total lack of competency going on there.
