Went to Zeglin's Davenport for the first time to purchase an LG microwave which we had researched…read more The female salesperson was anything but helpful when we asked some generic questions such as how was the micro rated? She answered "I'm sure it's ok" to which I responded I was looking for more than OK. We decided to go ahead and buy it (you know, buy local and all that) so she went to get the paperwork and came back saying they are boxing it up. Huh? I said to my husband, does that mean it's the floor model? So he asked her and she said yes. I said I don't want a floor model. She said they had one in the warehouse but there was no one there today. Never bothered to inform us of this before she was asked. I said, no thanks, thank you for your time. She watched us walk out the door and said NOTHING. I called the next day to talk to a manager. She said the sales person was fairly new not that it was an excuse. Manager was apologetic, said she would love to earn our business and hoped we would give them another chance. Nope, no thanks. Done with Zeglins

In late 2022 we decided to replace our kitchen appliances w new GE products - Stove, Dishwasher and…read moreRefrigerator. Our preference for the stove was an induction model. Due to supply chain problems across the appliance industry induction stoves delivery times were undefined so we decided to purchase a GE gas stove along with the other appliances. Although Zeglins couldn't commit to an availability date for the induction oven Zeglins indicated we could swap the gas stove for the induction stove when GE's induction stoves became available. I confirmed this with Zeglins by phone during the summer of 2023. To be sure, we expected additional cost for the induction model plus a depreciated trade value for our 9 month old gas stove - that's fair - we get it. I visited Zeglins yesterday for the "how much is this going to cost me" discussion to trade the gas for an induction stove. While there I was told our conversation never happened and the induction stove model we were interested in wasn't available in flat black - the color of our new refrigerator and dishwashe. At the time of initial purchase we were told it would be. We considered buying from Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot big box retailers but decided to go with Zeglins because they are local and provided our previous appliance set. We purchased the new set from Zeglins despite our experience trying to get service for our previous set of appliances purchased from them - they don't have in house service capability. That was news. Giving that "we're local" story a bad name. I'm done with them.

This referenced photo was taken AFTER they said they fixed it by replacing the burner and switch. The other photos show some of the damage they did replacing the burner and it actually looks worse now. Chris came out again after another repair company refused to fix it due to the damage done to the metal and screws holding on the glass cooktop. He did fix the burner. Something wasn't plugged in. The original burner and switch were probably not defective. He was only able to fix it by being walked through it by someone with Maytag tech support. He said he would replace the damaged and bent parts, even blamed part of it on Maytag. Maytag has no open tickets on my range to replace any defective parts. The last time I heard anything from Chris'll Fixit was the end of January when he said he'd have new parts to replace what he damaged within 2 weeks. Supposedly they ordered 5 parts and one is backordered. They provided Maytag with a list of part numbers. Most of the numbers are numbers that relate to nothing. None are parts for my range. They have already lied saying it was fixed in December so somehow I feel they never ordered parts and they figured I'd give up or go away. Do not let these people attempt to fix anything. They lie. They don't know what they are doing. They didn't even understand how my range is supposed to work.

There are scratches on all 4 corners of this part.

This is after it was supposed to be fixed. I should NOT be able to touch this here. It should be hot like the burner in front.

It actually looks worse after he came back. The cooktop isn't even level anymore.
