Bobbi helped us define our requirements and really helped us crystalize what we were looking for - asking questions we didn't think we needed to know the answers to - but ended up being highly valuable and helped us narrow down our search criteria. Now, that meant we were looking for a goldilocks house that was just right for us. But we were in a position to bide our time and learn what areas and layouts we liked and didn't like. Bobbi helped us through all of it and was thorough, professional, and thoughtful. We truly believe having Bobbi and Alicia as our buyers agent gave us an advantage in the market. Bobbi negotiated excellent concessions and helped us have confidence we weren't buying a lemon. It was surreal when we finally got our keys, and we couldn't be happier with our new home. Thank you Bobbi and Alicia!

I have used the PropM for many years. Excellent communication and sincere service delivery are their signature value. Who can beat PropM that serves its constituents 24-7?! I have a "beautiful home" (in my opinion) in LO,OR. When a property management company has 24-7 business hours and real persons' taking calls, that's a commitment . The PropM has the Will-Power to serve our community. One time my house roof started growing moss. I was warned by the HOA to clean up. After the best estimates, the PropM hired someone to do the job in a timely manner. The PropM saved my rear by meeting the deadline! Whew. The PropM did it at a reasonable cost and cleared the moss-mess. The leadership coming from the top, the CEO to the answering service people keeps the "human" (not AI) service operation smoothly at PropM. Every single employee is very cordial. I have enjoyed the PropM service over a decade. I recommend the PropM property management companyy with full confidence and trust. One wish that I have is that someday the PropM would publish just half-page long news about changes in the real estate laws including rental laws. In California where I live, there have been a lot of changes. I respect the PropM that has a deep commitment to serve those in need. Furthermore, their communication to keep their customers informed is priceless. Lastly, their quality service in the reasonable time frame is the best. Trust is two-way street. I trust this PropM management company and give my full-hearted five (5) stars. Without PropM, I cannot keep my home in LO. Thank you all employees of THE PropM for your great work. Since that time, they have lied to me, almost had a young girl enter my home (without notice at all - she could have been shot, I was in bed with double spine fracture) for an inspection. After that, next inspection went okay, but the young man lied to me about what was attached to his body (it was a video camera & he said it was an air quality device) worried about that for months. Next inspection, I think they forgot it was every 6 months, because didn't happen for a year; I got an eviction notice that part of my floor needed mopping & that I had put nails in the wall to hang my pictures (apparently I was supposed to be using something that hadn't been invented yet) and that there were boxes against the house (mind you, this is just a duplex & not visible from street). Now I have new inspection coming up where they announced they were doing 6-month inspection, yet was only 5 months. They rescheduled. Still have this held over my head. I broke my sternum a month ago & was at the same time (due to chest X-rays) diagnosed with emphysema. Deadly disease & no cure (had asthma my entire life & was diagnosed with COPD years ago). It will be another two months before I can be mobile & just finding out I am going to die is a lot. I'm going to be 60 soon & most of my family is dead. Have had nobody to help me, even with double spine fracture & ribs. Am running out of characters, so very much more to say. Feel free to contact me.

Everything seemed really great BEFORE I had tenants, there was lots of open communication, she explained everything. I felt like we were partners. But then as soon as I had people interested in the house, I had NO INFORMATION given to me about any of the financials. I was not privy to their lease agreement, the amount of the deposit, anything. I was also not given any information about when payments would be disbursed until I reached out and asked. This didn't feel like transparency. I was finally given my first payment 12 days after tenants moved into my house. I received a very small fraction of what they paid on move in. This was expected! Expensive, but expected. What was not expected was the re-key fee that Best Life charged me. I left complete sets of keys, there was no need to charge me the rekey. This shouldn't have been a big deal, but I received nothing but defensive communication in response. No apology. She offered to remove the fee but didn't apologize, when I explained why I was frustrated she FIRED ME. That was it. I would have loved for this to be a great experience with no hidden fees--this business advertises pricing transparency--but instead, on my very first disbursement there was a hidden fee. Disappointing to say the least. ALL I NEEDED WAS AN APOLOGY, INSTEAD SHE FIRED ME. I have no idea what will happen to my poor tenants.

Although I do see that there are a handful of reviews by family members in the mix. From start to finish of the application process it has been one of the worst home rental experiences for myself to date, which is saying something as I have lived in several states in the US and a couple of countries abroad. Apparently, the company is relying heavily on AI to do the job of human employees, which is a disservice to the homeowners as well as potential renters. Our experience started with an AI bot setting up a fake tour during the middle of the week. I received a text and an email confirmation for the property tour after negotiating a time over the phone with the bot. My partner and I then showed up at the appointed time to find that nobody was there to meet us. I called Spear and left a message asking if there was someone coming to the property. While doing so, the homeowner came home to find us waiting for a tour that he had no knowledge of. After an incredibly awkward initial interaction, the owner very graciously offered to tour us himself. At this point, staff from Spear did call to apologize, stating that the AI system was new. That was the only instance we  had a real time interaction with Spear staff when needed, but the error was already made. We actually ended up having a positive interaction with the homeowner despite the mix up, and we let him know that we would be putting in an application. He said he would put in a good word, and we said our goodbyes. That was the only bright spot in the process. My partner and I then put in our applications, and began to receive a series of auto-generated emails prompting us to nudge anyone who we would be relying on for information and references, sometimes multiple emails a day. After a few days we were told via these auto-generated emails that we were accepted (we had to enter a portal to open the acceptance letter). This notification came to us at the end of a particular day. The next day when opening the email, we saw that a deposit was posted as due the day before, even though we hadn't been told yet that we were accepted or how payment would need to be made. I called several times asking clarifying questions, and never received a live person, leaving voicemails each time. Desperate to talk to a real person before having to hand over thousands of dollars and having time to read the lease and ask relevant questions, I drove an hour round-trip on my lunch break to their "office". I found that their office address is nothing more than a mailbox at a circulation desk within a building.  On my way back to work that day, I did receive a phone call from a staff member who said that Mackenzi Spear was out of town and when he returned, he would address our questions. My partner also had questions, as this particular property had additional HOA rules and regulations that we needed to review, but were not provided. The process to get answers was laborious, and days would go by intermittently as we gained partial information from Mackenzi only via email, and never a personable phone call where we could have a normal conversation. I asked both in email and via text messages with staff for instructions on next steps in the process, but received no answers. We then received an ultimatum from Mackenzi to sign the lease or lose the house, before we had been supplied with all the information requested and reasonable time to review it so that we could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, Spear's ultimatum fell on a day when I was on a scheduled trip out of state (which I had told his staff I was making prior), and I was literally airborne when his imposed deadline passed. But ultimately, my partner and I were feeling like we dodged a bullet with this company. If this was how the application process went, we couldn't imagine that dealing with them for the duration of the lease would be any better. We were quite disappointed because we loved the property and felt the owner and ourselves deserved better. I cannot recommend.
