Outstanding quality of freshly caught fish and chips served out of a very clean and well run food truck. Family run, all fish is wild and sustainable and hook and line caught. Several varieties of fish depending on what they catch; today they had lingcod, rock fish, crab, and tuna I believe. There are clean and brightly painted picnic tables on which to dine. We have eaten from this foodtruck probably about 5 or 6 times. The fish and chips are delicious; great portion size, all types of fish are fresh and delicious; they come with fries and coleslaw. Last time i had their crab burger with pesto and goat cheese. Delicious. If you look at social media you can find out where the truck will be. Oregon Fishmongers has delicious fish and chips. Their tuna is lightly beaded with panko and lightly seasoned. Their stake fries are done to perfection and also lightly seasoned. The coleslaw and tarter sauce compliment the meal nicely. I would put these on par or better than some of the other famous Fish n Chip places know on the Oregon Coast in Newport and Astoria. I'm in love with their Lingcod. And everything else is excellent. I generally do not like fish other than shellfish but they have ruined my life with the Box of Cod!! And today they told me about French fries with clam chowder! Oh no! Another addiction. I always hate leaving our coast home for our winter home in AZ and you have just made it that much harder! We have eaten at their Newport, OR location in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet twice this week because it's that good. We each ordered something different each time and oohed & ahhd over everything we ate. We moved here from Monterey, CA 13 years ago.
