I got a deal to stay at the garden and do their tulip package to get tickets to the Woodburn Tulip Festival and it was an amazing experience. Not only do you get free admission to their garden, you got admission to the nearby tulip festival with a complimentary glass of wine. They also partner with a lot of nearby wineries to do free and discounted wine tastings with proof of your stay. They have complimentary breakfast that overlooks tbe gardens and an on-site lounge that does entertainment and happy hour specials. The room we got was in a cabin that jad 4 different rooms to a building and it was so spacious, large bathroom, a fireplace, a little backyard area amd a table inside. We also did the dog package add on bag included bags, a bowl and a toy. The only thing with that was the toy was a lot smaller than what it looked like in the photo so kind of small for any dog bigger than a terrier. Everything else was great though and I would definitely stay again with another package deal.

The rooms are in little quadplexes, which adds to the privacy and is also very convenient for parking.

The room was very nice, and so quiet! The breakfast buffet is definitely a notch above the usual hotel breakfast, and in a really pretty space. The gardens are also gorgeous, and you get free entrance to them when to stay here. If we're in the general Salem area again, we'll choose this over Best Western for sure.

We loved staying here. It was nice, quiet and roomy. Our room was clean and there was a nice deck in back. Lots of free parking and the breakfast was delicious and the dining area had a beautiful view. Staff was always friendly and we would definitely stay again when we visit the area.

A very nice, relaxing oasis to slow down life just a little bit. Nice that we were able to check in a bit earlier than the normal 3 PM check in time. Desk staff was quite friendly and helpful. Their online pre-check-in process is arguably a bit invasive, but speeds up the check in process dramatically. I guess you can decide whether it's worth it to upload a copy of your drivers license to facilitate check in. Here's a tip: sign up for the club to save on your room rate.

We stayed here for one night for the Christmas market. Everyone was friendly from checking in to the resort for our one night stay to checking out the next day. Our room was steps away from the entrance for the Christmas market. It was so nice to see all the lights while sipping on some warm mulled wine. We didn't care much for the bratwurst's the bread was cold. Would have been better heated up. You could tell with one of the breads they just took it apart with fingers instead of cutting it with a knife. That's how cold the bread was. My bread was falling apart and couldn't eat it properly with the sausage. Maybe next time we will just eat at the lodge vs the little markets.

We came here for the German Holiday Market event that happens annually during this time of year. The front desk guy "Tony" told us about it during our last visit and it sounded like a unique holiday experience. Tony was not wrong *WOW*!! I'm pretty sure we had one of the best rooms in the house for the Christmas Lights!!! Our private balcony had an elevated view of the Xmas Light path that leads to the Holiday Market. The light display covers the entire area and are on until 10pm. It definitely gave us cozy Christmas vibes. I don't think that any photos could possibly do this event justice. We came during the week to avoid the crowds and I could not be more pleased with our experience. This event is unique and festive. The light displays alone are worth the trip and stay. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The gas fireplace provides both heat and ambiance. We didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms which is really nice. Everything about our stay and the grounds exceeded our expectations. The nighttime hot tub was just the icing on the cake :)

Christmas lights: Stunning. worth going, themed Christmas lights areas. Free live music. Enclosed tents for eating with space heaters. Stores selling German style food, drinks and merchandise. The restaurant in the main building: Croutons in the salad are stale. To me the food is not worth the price and not too tasty. Resort: Decent size. Big counter in the bathroom for personal stuff. You can see Christmas lights right on the balcony. Bed is comfortable. Things are good except there are ants. See the videos I took. The rooms are on the bottom floor surrounding by dirt and plants, not too surprised to see some ants. Complimentary breakfast items: Scrambled eggs Sausage Oatmeal Granola Yogurt Tea Coffee Orange juice Apple juice Toast Orange wedges Apples Cereal of 2 kinds Coconut muffin Cranberry bread

Went up to the Oregon garden for a company Christmas party. Wow! It was great . The grounds looked beautiful with all of the lights and displays . There were tons of staff who were all very helpful, and so friendly . The whole campus was very well organized , lots of signs around and there were a lot of staff around to help you find your way . I was very impressed. Thanks so luck for all of your hard work, it shows .

The Oregon Garden Resort is pretty average as far as hotels go. There are many different buildings, each with several rooms, and you'll be provided with a map at check-in showing you which building is yours, and how to drive there. The signage on the buildings is TERRIBLE, though, and almost impossible to read after dark (it's far easier during daylight). The building number signs are metal that are offset from the building, and are backlit. This is less than optimal. The rooms themselves are adequate, reasonable clean, and in a reasonable state of repair. The furniture and fixtures look pretty dated. Each room has a gas fireplace, with no apparent controls. Mine was off all night, and spontaneously turned on at about 4:00 AM. The shower in my room had a few long black hairs stuck to the side, which was pretty off-putting. Ice machines are outdoors, as are vending machines. There is a bar / restaurant on-site, which is passable, but definitely not a destination. Each room has its own private patio, which is thoughtful, but takes on a "horror movie" sort of atmosphere at night. The Oregon Garden Resort is one of very few hotels in the area, so there's not a lot of competition, and it shows.

    Wood rot on outside thresold.

An once beautiful resort has fallen on hard times. Staff tries hard but the resort is threadbare. Wood rot and mold on the thresholds. I still enjoy walking in the gardens. I miss the clean, well run resort of yesterday. It was a favorite of ours. There needs to be improvements before can we return.

    Ants on the bed

So the stay was okay. Everyone seemed really nice. Cute restaurant and good breakfast. When we first arrived I noticed a a couple ants here and there in the room. I thought nothing of it as we are out in the wilderness but the morning we woke up to check out we found ants covering the bed! On myself, my fiancée and my 6 month old baby! We packed up asap (6 hours earlier then planned) and went to the front desk where a Garrick didn't apologize just said since we booked through a third party they wouldn't do anything. So I contact hotels.com and they tell me they have to contact the hotel and when they did would only refund $20. So don't spend your money and read the other negative reviews because they are all true.

    Dining room

If I could give 6 stars I would. excellent value..$165 for a room overlooking the wedding garden, clean, spacious. The checkin was fast, the clerks pleasant. The resort grounds beautiful, manicured and clean with foliage and flowers galore. The plus is it is right in the Oregon Garden, free to get in as a guest. A must see but suggest you take the tram(stops at 3:30, makes no sense if you check in at 4:00), then walk it. The restaurant for dinner I would give 4 stars for quality( all are window seats to the garden). Ribeye steak was so so, heard a waitress suggest the beef medallions. The salmon was very flavorful with citrus sauces but a little tough, not as flaky as it shouldn't be. Attentive waitresses. We will definitely return.

The only photo I took. After I slept in bed.

Our room overlooked the pool area, which is so dense with trees that it doesn't feel like you're looking into other people's windows. It felt very private and cozy. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature and we had them all to ourselves in the evening! The listing for the room did indicate that the bed was memory foam, and it definitely was not, so that was a bit of a bummer. The water pressure was so intense in the shower that it was honestly a bit painful to stand right beneath the water. Otherwise, the rooms are cozy and spacious, the price didn't break the bank, and the staff is lovely. We look forward to our next stay!

Last Christmas, I purchased a gift card for my wife for Spa sessions at The Allison Inn and Spa…read more I've had my eye on the place ever since I heard they offered quality facilities and services. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor, and this time, 5 years ago, had gone through a double mastectomy, and then some major reconstruction surgery after that, earlier in the year. I wanted to give her some quality time at the best spa in the region. Our daughter, who recently moved to the area from Virginia, made plans to go with her since she practically lived in spas back in VA and wanted to check out this local Spa. My daughter owns her own business and was in a busy time of year so it took them months to settle on a day when they could both enjoy the day together. The day before they were to go, my daughter was called away on an urgent trip out of the country. The Allison Spa has a 48-hour cancellation policy but we explained this was truly an emergency on my daughter's part. We even offered to show them her plane ticket for her trip. I can understand the business reason for a cancellation policy, employees are brought in to serve clients, space is made available for scheduled guests, it is important in order to make a business run smoothly. It is also a business decision to allow or deny someone not wanting to have to pay the penalty for cancelling an appointment the day before the appointment. That decision that day cost them probable monthly visits from my daughter, and being crossed off my list of places I would recommend people to go to enjoy quality spa services. My wife loved the massage she received and said Sydny was amazing; however, my wife is 5' tall, she had a very hard time in the hydro bath, slipping down in the tub to where she had to hold on to the side for almost the whole treatment to keep from going under. When the assistant came, her comment was: "I'll tell the management". There is a waiting area at the spa check-in counter for people waiting for the clients to come out from the Spa itself. I waited there for about a half hour knowing they would come get me when she came out. She had been out for almost that half hour and hadn't been told I was waiting, I was pretty much ignored. I know, I sound like a complainer, but this was supposed to be a special day, and it wasn't close to what I hoped it would be for her. The cancellation fee cut into her gift card package and she did not get the full benefit of it. I'm trying to be fair to the Allison, and actually my lunch there was excellent and the service and attitude of employees, with the exception of the Spa counter staff, throughout was excellent. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. However, I am extremely disappointed and still very upset with the treatment my wife, my daughter and I received from the Spa. I hope it was an anomaly for The Allison's sake.

We were unable to remove the layers of dirt on the patio dining table at Manor and had to eat dinner inside. Day 2- We noticed outside chairs at Manor were dirty and did not sit on it, as were the chairs around fire pit. Called ITrip operations again to tell first tell them Day 1 patio cleaning was not properly done, and that my HUSBAND washed and scrubbed it himself. Then proceeded to tell them about newly noticed issues. Operations sent someone in a timely manner. He was the plumber, Victor who scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed...did an AMAZING job!!! Also told him our a/c was warm and not working properly. He tried to resolve, and advised if not cooled by Day 3 to call management._ Day 3- After sleeping 2 nights in warm stuffy condition, had to call management again to notify....they could not promise someone could come out. After waiting a few hours it was evident a/c was not working and sent text message that conditions warranted an emergency service call. An a/c expert arrived shortly thereafter and confirmed major issue with a/c system in guest house. He managed to get it cool enough for us to enjoy sleeping. Day 4- Finally all issues resolved the day before we were to check out. _ Check out day- Post wedding celebration, we requested a late check out but no response. We quickly packed up so as to not get charged. House cleaners arrived as the last of us were about ready to leave. We told her everything except a/c issue in guest house. She confirmed it ALL should have been completed prior to our arrival, and that we could have had a late check out since no one was scheduled to arrive in a couple of days. Moreover and probably the most concerning was an undisclosed RV above the property was being occupied by groundskeepers who had codes to access the homes. Terrifying if all females stayed at the property. Exterior night lighting around grounds insufficient, making it dangerous. The amount of money we paid to stay was overpriced for the non-privacy and condition it was delivered in. Above all else, interior of both homes were very clean, the beds were comfortable, bathroom amenities excellent, expansive outside space and private lake was enjoyable. Response time and maintenance resolution by ITrips operations was impressive, however, I'm still waiting for the property manager to call me, it's been 7 days Might recommend to others with but with caveats.
