A V O I D they made some sloppy mistakes, including failing to reconnect my alternator to my battery. I got 25 miles down the highway before I was dead in the water. 5 hrs later, with help from the mechanics AAA towed me, I was back on the road. no apology, impatient attitude. they paid for the fix, but COME ON. this should NOT have happened to begin with. pay attention to what you're doing! It's always way too expensive to take your car to a shop like this to get anything fixed or done, but these guys were really great to me. So here's my stupid story. I took my car to the Les Schwab that is right down the street from this place, because I needed a new battery, and I had a trip to Portland and back to make that weekend so I went in the day before we were supposed to leave (yes, in hindsight, I should have gone much sooner but I literally had no time or money in my free time). Les Schwab puts in a battery and says hey you need a new starter, because it doesn't even turn over, even with this brand new battery. You need to tow it somewhere to get it because we don't do starters. Great! Awesome way to start my day two hours before I have to work. So I tow it to the nearest place, and Les Schwab gave me the number for this Pro Service Center place. I had called the guy and asked if he could do the starter for me and he told me he was pretty booked and wouldn't be able to do it until tomorrow afternoon, which of course didn't work for me because I had to leave in the morning. I asked if I could leave the car for the weekend because I had a trip to make and wouldn't be there to pick it up, and he said that was just fine. Took the car there, and they called me that day a few hours later, while I was at work, saying they got time and they got it done already! I was so relieved that we could take my car and not my husband's for that trip... The guys were so nice and understanding of my situation! Definitely would use this place again in a pinch. read more

These guys rock. I was driving through to Portland the day before thanksgiving and had some issues with my car. I called them up and they got me in to get it checked out. Not thinking that It was gonna get fixed the same day I started looking at motels. Within an hour they told me what was wrong and within 3 they fixed it. My cousin put me on to these guys after my local Toyota dealer gave me a list of 'need to get 'em done now' maintenance and repairs were handed to me following a simple oil change. Totaled up, the estimated costs from the dealer ran over $1700, which pushed me to look elsewhere for help. Much to my delight Kurt and company at Pro Service Center were honest and fair, checking things out and letting me know what didn't need to be done and doing the work (timing belt and water pump replacement) in a timely way and at a good price. They had my vehicle for one day, got the job done and checked out some other things I'd asked about without any hassle. Fluids were checked, spark plugs replaced, timing belt replaced, water pump replaced and a new air filter... all for about $850 on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner. By having Pro Service Center do the work I saved 50% off what the dealer wanted to charge me. They listed the part prices on the receipt and it worked out to about 50% labor and 50% parts in the cost breakdown for everything done, and called to let me know what they were finding as they found it looking at the vehicle. Pro Service Center was super easy to work with, they have affordable pricing and were honest with me about what really needed attention and what did not. I feel safer on the road knowing that the work is done, and grateful for the price break versus what the Toyota dealer wanted to charge me. I'll be back and recommend them to everyone! read more

Long story short: My car broke down on its way from Los Angeles to Vancouver, B.C. After going to 2 different shops, that couldn't get my vehicle fixed in good time, a call was made to Pro Service. So, here I am in Medford, Oregon, with my car on a flatbed. The gentlemen in the shop were honest and fixed my vehicle so I could continue my trip. They offered me hotel recommendations and places to eat. They even have "perks" with the Enterprise rental car establishment close by. instead of doing Tune-ups they suggested to replace the Distributor. They charged me for Labor work $280. Seriously it was a waste of time and money to take my car to that place. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was having trouble with my clutch in my 2003 Toyota Matrix and we took it here, because we always get it fixed here. It's a working car needed daily to drive 55 miles and they had it 4 days, after I told them I needed it for work, then now 3 weeks after I pay them $1100 to put in a clutch, the bolts fall out of the connection of the transmission and the drive train to the engine! I thought these people were honest mechanics but I will NEVER take any car here again! read more

This is the worst auto shop I have ever encountered. My van started aggressively leaking and spewing oil and driving funny one morning on my way to work, I didn't have time to deal with it so I had my boyfriend take care of it. It was in such bad shape that it had to be taken to a shop, like, right that second. This place was the closest and since it was leaking so bad, it had to do. First off, I brought it in on a Tuesday. They said it would be done by Thursday for sure. Normally you'd get a phone call or something to update you about the status of your vehicle. Not these guys. I thought I'd give them til the end of the day Thursday to hear from them. As it got closer to closing, I called them and they didn't answer.. so now I'm concerned bc not only was my van not done, I didn't know what the hell was going on with it bc they never got in contact with me. They called me back the next day saying something like "oops we forgot to call you because we were so far into your van." Why are you digging around in the van and not focusing on what I asked? Or why didn't you update me as to what you're doing? So I dropped it off on a Tuesday, I didn't get it back til not that Friday but the next Friday, 10 days. I would ask my bf if he heard from them at all and he'd say no, so I had to chase them with phone calls to get updates on my vehicle and every time we talked they just "happened" to find something wrong and felt they would "fix" it without asking me if I wanted it fixed. After 10 days of them poking around doing god knows what, they came out with a bill of $1400... excuse me? My van wasn't even fixed. I spent $1400 for them to waste 10 days of my time doing b******t busy work to rack up labor. They will be nice to your face, but they're slimy, sketchy, and don't know wtf they're doing. Go to Rogue Automotive. They will update you about everything and tell you what you're paying for. read more

I believe it important peope know about Pro Service Center. Granted, they may know some things about automotive services, HOWEVER, they are NOT, in this writer's opinion, Honest, Professional or Informed on automotive repairs. WHY do I state this?? I recently paid a small fee of $36.50 for a Dodge Truck window diagnostic. I was informed that window switch was bad - IT WAS NOT and is not bad. Another auto repair shop in my area diagnosed the problem as thus; The terminals on the drivers side door were "VERY LOOSE". Minor adjustments were made and the window works fine now. Upon my return to Pro Service I informed them of their error and politely requested a refund for their miss-diagnosis to which they informed me, they ONLY performed a partial diagnosis and refused any refund. The partial diagnosis took less than 5 minutes. How would anybody feel if a doctor only did a 5 minute, partial diagnosis of an ailment and then treated for a misdiagnosis. Pro Services treated me wrongly, demonstrating a lack of integrity. My rating for them is actually ZERO and I will l never again return to Pro Service Center warning others of the treatment I received, stating Pro Service Center does not stand behind their work. read more
