Frame is plumb - was installed properly
    Noah S.

DISAPPOINTING! I purchased pre hung front door for my house. Orepac team was friendly and helpful in the beginning when we ordered the door. I paid $6,612 for it and expected to get good quality and service. Although after the installation we saw a defect with the manufacturing. The door came with the frame ready ( pre hung) and after installation we noticed the door was warped. So far nothing special, its normal to have defects. We contacted Orepac team and they sent an " inspector " to check it out. He said it an issue with installation even though we showed him in person how the hinge is off and the installation was properly done since the frame is level and plumb. We didn't want to fix it ourselves so we can have the warranty but they didn't want to do the fix and give warranty anyway so we had to pay door installer to fix it. Long story short they might sell nice doors but they will not take responsibility for they products when they are damaged. I worked with many companies before and never had to beg for such a small fix. They are obviously don't care about their clients satisfaction. I will never buy another product from them again. I'll be happy to revise or remove this review if they will contact us and come up with a solution for the damages we had to pay to fix.

They have wood doors, hollow metal doors, hardware and many other things i need in stock. The pricing is reasonable. And they deliveted the orders on time. They are professional. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Honeslty I cant say enough about this company!!…read more I was in need of a new front door because I just hated ours. I really LOVED the wrought iron doors and shopped around. Let me tell you that some companies quotes were near the 12000 range! When visiting these companies they didn't even have stock.. which of course means they are most likely purchasing cheaper and reselling to you.. Not Jimmy, Jimmy was amazing since I stopped in his office. Immediately he was so welcoming and has a HUGE warehouse full of front doors ( not just doors he is ordering from somewhere else) His price also beat these prices but literally almost HALF.. It was a week before labor day weekend and I really wanted the doors installed before the weekend holiday and he was able to get them installed for me! Another note, after getting the doors installed my kids somehow locked my dogs outside for some time and they scratched our front door pretty bad ... Jimmy came by and fixed the scratches for me within a few days.. Thank you so much Jimmy and Discount doors! I cant recommend you enough!

Drew was helpful, knowledgeable, and made the process easy to understand without any pressure. Frank and Joe continued that same level of professionalism during the installation. They were courteous, skilled, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to ensure everything was done properly and kept the work area clean and organized throughout the job. What impressed us most was how seamless everything felt. When they were finished, it was hard to believe they had just replaced all of our windows--the space looked that clean and put together. We're extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a smooth, professional window installation experience.

These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Thanks!

We transformed our open backyard patio to be more enclosed and wanted to see if Pablo can add a screen door to the patio/sunroom. He was punctual and finished his installation fairly quickly. But his service was way beyond just installing these screen doors for me. After couple months, we DIY and added tiles to the patio to make it easier to clean but it was very difficult for amateurs like us to align it to the railings of the screen door and the gap/transition doesn't look good at all. So I texted Pablo to see if there's any way to make the transition less awkward. I didn't have a high expectation because he already done his job and I should probably finished tiling before installing these doors. But he was willing to come out and take a look at what he can do and he did an amazing job! He replaced the railing for me and realigned everything to make it look nice. I got so many compliments about my patio! Very very happy. He was very friendly and easy to work with! He will definitely be my go-to in the future!

I made an appointment, and they completely stood me up. Later, they claimed they tried to call me or left a voicemail to change the appointment, which is not true. They never called or left any message. I have documentation as evidence, but I chose not to continue the conversation because Max kept defending himself and arguing instead of trying to resolve the issue. They also had my mailing address incorrect. I spoke with Max the day before my appointment to correct it, yet there were still multiple errors. Overall, the business seems very unorganized. The receptionist told me Max was in the office, so I was surprised when Max later claimed my appointment was with a different representative. This inconsistency felt very unprofessional and questionable. I took time out of my day for this appointment, and it is extremely rude and unprofessional that they never showed up. I do not recommend doing business with this company. There are many other businesses that provide much better customer service.

    Paul's Windows

    Montecito Heights

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.
