I do not appreciate the method in which the owner chooses to do his business. This company sent a card to our recently purchased home that said "We are scheduled to perform your upcoming service next week." I called to determine if the previous homeowner had prepaid and Mike told me no the previous homeowner did not pre-pay but they have been servicing the property. I agreed to a one time end of season application and paid for it. I didn't see much difference - but I just thought "whatever". I was then contacted by a woman named Nancy asking if I'd like to prepay for next season to save money on the applications that had been done to the property in the past. We went over the services and I agreed and asked if they took Venmo. She insisted coming to my house to pick up cash. I thought it was a bit bizarre, but I trust the previous homeowners and felt like if they used them they just be a reputable company. I completely forgot to get cash and Nancy showed up at my house. Her car was hoarded with Christmas Decorations and something just didn't seem right. At first I felt bad for forgetting to get the cash so I apologized and asked her if I could drop the money off tomorrow. She insisted on coming back another day. She even said I could leave the money somewhere out in my property and she would come and get it. I thought this was off also. The next day I was driving home from work and Nancy called me and said she was sitting outside my house waiting for me. It seemed desperate and pushy. The whole situation didn't sit right with me. I called the previous homeowner and he said he absolutely never used this company! Which means that the owner Mike LIED to me on the phone saying that he had been servicing the property. Then I came on here to yelp and see that there are some awful reviews and others who were scammed. I am SO GLAD I figured this out before I shelled out $815 in cash to some random woman in a hoarded out car. I called Nancy and said I would absolutely not be using their services. She was actually waiting in front of my house for me to get home from work to take my cash. I told her I knew they tried to scam me and lied to me about previously servicing my property. I did not find their services effective. When I tried to cancel, I was talked into spending more money for more treatments that they promised would do a great job. I was still not happy and they repeatedly told me that it wasn't their fault. I haven't used them for 2 years and they call incessantly despite me asking to be removed from their marketing calls. Horrible experience. I signed and pre- paid for a contract which included a specific number of applications. They shorted me one application and when I called to inquire, they told me they did 2 applications in one a month earlier than scheduled. Made no sense to me and when I questioned it the owner became defensive and threatening. He was argumentative and started name calling and bad mouthing my family! (That he knows nothing about). SCAM ALERT ‼organic Organic Pest Management Solutions I hired this company under false pretense, they sent a card stating they'd be at my property "next week" for my next treatment... we just moved recently. Called to inquire and the owner made up a whole story acting as if the old owners used them, they did not. They came and did a terrible job. When we called to rectify the situation we were met with insanely hostile behavior. After experiencing the abuse I asked for a refund as I had paid for the whole season upfront. The supposed owner called repeatedly THREATENING US to come to our home and we'd be sorry etc etc. Saying he knows where we work and what we do, basically threatening both my family and our livelihood. I have multiple videos of this man stating we don't know who he is and we'll be "kissing his shoes" when he's done with us (exact words). The threats became so extensive a police report was filed. Upon reviewing google reviews there are many others with the same story. DO NOT HIRE AT ALL COST They are the ones sending multiple flyers with different business names (Organic pest and LI environmental tree to name a few) and pray on new/unsuspecting homeowners PS our tick problem is 1000% worse since they came. read more

My experience with Organic Pest Management Solutions was not satisfactory. I paid for services that I did not receive, and they refused to refund my money. Initially, I called Organic Pest Management Solutions to get a quote and informed Jay that I needed to confirm with my husband before proceeding. However, he sent a contract that I did not sign. Two days later, someone from Organic Pest Management Solutions came to provide services, but I turned them away since I had not signed the contract or confirmed with my husband. After speaking with Jay, we agreed to a one-time service since they had already purchased the equipment. I provided my credit card information, and they charged my card immediately. However, I called several times over the next week, and nobody returned my calls. Finally, a week later, Jay promised that someone would call me within 24 hours. However, I did not receive a call on Monday or Tuesday until I followed up. At this point, I informed them that I no longer wanted the service, and Jay became unprofessional, talking over me, yelling, and being very rude. I remained calm despite the situation, but I was shocked by his unprofessionalism. I realized that I did not want to do business with someone with such poor customer service and a bad temperament. The ppl they sent out perform the service inconsistently and didn't perform a good job in spraying to even cover half of our yard. After reading yelp about their dishonest market campaign, I realized we are just another victims of such bad practice. I am discontinuing my service. The spray is helpful that reduces the bugs by about more than half. But I am sure by paying same amount of money, we can get better service elsewhere. read more

The good: Very quick to return and answer calls, definitely reliable when scheduled. The bad: This company apparently teams up with mortgage companies or real estate companies and is quite pushy in their marketing. They will send a post card that instructs the homeowner to call them to make sure the day they are coming is good, it is very confusing and unclear. We had them come twice (thinking we had no choice) to spray for mosquitos, ticks, and ants. There was absolutely no difference after the treatments were done. Mosquitos were just as plentiful, the days and weeks after the treatment and the ants did not decline in population whatsoever. After discontinuing service we have gotten quite literally over 50 calls from the company. Then they call you on a different or blocked number again, and again, and again, and again. If the spraying/product had worked for us, it would be great. As a business, they're reliable for sure. Marketing is definitely on the borderline of sketchy and unethical. read more

We were happy the first year. Do to financial issues we had to cut back on sprays yet they called over and over and when I didn't answer they would call on a blocked number. This year I sought out a different company through a local facebook group. The owner of this company then called me to ask if I had been associated with other companies. I am not friend with organic pest management and I dont have my full name on Facebook so this companies owner basically stalked other company Facebook interactions and then tried to figure out if their customers were moving on. Also their prices are very high, they love showing up during torrential downpours to spray and will only spray half your property most times. Wow ! After the pandemic this company has gone down. I had a once a month contract for basic pest spraying and Organic Pest tried to double my service to two times a month without my permission. I received a correspondence in the mail stating, "Listed below are the services we currently have scheduled for you." Below is payment schedule and a payment form. Prior to receiving this letter I had never heard of this business. I had never contacted them or signed any contract for services to be rendered. I contacted the business and explained the situation. The person who did not identify himself, but did indicate it was his business was insulting, aggressive, and rude. I explained that the letter was deceptive in nature and a form of harassment. I was told to calm down and not be so emotional as it was just a mistake. The individual also stated he was not worried that I could not be an attorney based upon the town where I reside in NY. While I have not used this company's services based upon the nature of the phone call, their customer service, and wrongful advertising techniques I would not recommend anyone using these services. read more

I've had 2 sprayings so far this season (out of 5) and the product simply does not work. I'm practically eaten alive every time I step out the door. I got 5 bites just putting something in the mailbox, and my mailbox is 2 inches from my front door. I understand it's an organic product and it's not supposed to be magic, but I was expecting better results. We contacted them about some pest invading our trees. A nice man showed up who sounded knowledgeable and we paid him via credit card to come do the work in a few days. He never showed up. When I called he said that he was waiting for a special truck because of the height of our trees. A week later he still didn't show up. By that time the worms in our tree had all died on their own and I called again to say it was now useless to spray the trees. He apologized and said that we would be credited with the charge for that service and asked if we still wanted a flea and tick treatment. We said yes. Another week goes by and still no treatment or credit to our card. I called the main office and told them I wasn't happy and wanted my money back. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Someone call back a day later and asked when I wanted to schedule the next treatment. I told them that I had told the previous person I was fed up and just wanted my money back. He seemed surprised and said someone would get back to me. I finally heard from one of the owners, Michael, said I had a treatment weeks ago that I know I didn't have. He said he'd get back to me. He didn't. At this point I'm done. I disputed it on my credit card. Update: I saw today that they had credited me the full amount the day before I wrote this review. It just hadn't shown up in my account at that point so I'll give them that. read more
