The techs were clearly talking about me. I had asked her (very kindly) if she could please get the bottom of my feet better as I saw there was still dead skin. She re scrubbed and then put the skin on the FLOOR. I had asked for a basic pedicure, and they uncharged me for a paraffin when I never had asked for that!!!!! Not only do they talk negatively about you, but they scam you. The vibe was not it, she never showed me how to work the chair. Just wanted someone in & out and charged you ridiculous for no reason. read more

Have been coming here for over ten years and I love this spa. They always do a good job on my nails. While they try to fit everyone in, they do not usually double book. Very clean and the spa itself is nice, and they always have a good movie or show playing. I love organic spa and always feel relaxed when I go there! Pre-COVID, I came here a lot and having just returned to the area, I'm so happy to be back. Clean, friendly and always good quality. Lately I've been getting "Dip" since it keeps my nails from breaking and I've never had good luck with gel. I've gotten dip at lots of different places (having lived in a different area the past couple of years), and I have to say, Hannah is THE BEST. She is super conscientious and does a fabulous job keeping the thickness looking natural and clean around the edges. She really is amazing. I love this place. read more

I went here today (Friday morning) around 9:30 a.m. to get a pedicure. It only took 20 minutes and it was not relaxing at all. I am not sure how long standard pedicures should be but I don't think it should be just be 20 minutes. She didn't include any massages on the legs/feet (just squeezed my calves for 2 seconds on each leg as again, she was just rushing through it). I had a young lady (the youngest one there) who was rushing through the pedicure. The staff is friendly but beware......they seem to double book appointment. If you are in a rush to get a pedicure within 20 minutes, this is the place to go. If you want to relax and have someone take their time to focus on your feet/nails, don't go here. read more

I read good reviews and tried the place out. The person who did my mani-pedi was very average. Her mind was somewhere else. She kept answering her phone. At one point, she left the pedicure and went outside to answer the phone! The leg massage was very minimal. After the mani, she supposedly spray the nails, with two tiny sprays and you could tell she couldn't care less. The mani pedi came out alright, but I wouldn't go back. The place did not look very clean or well looked after and the ladies looked perhaps overworked. I went on a weekday and thought that the traffic would be slower, but it was very busy. read more

I am a person who does not like reguarly getting routine Mani pedis. When I do want one I feel like it should be a good experience. Normally I take care of my hands and feet myself, but sometimes I like treating myself to be pampered. My friend goes here so I tried it. I went to get a pedicure and was hardly spoken to the whole time. I know alot of nail salon do this, but they do not speak English in front of customers. To me, it seems very rude and I was kinda disappointed. At least the pedicure was nice. They use a warm paraffin was for the heels and that really made my heels feel much softer. Just for a pedicure is $35 so I suggest get the Mani/pedicure Mon-thurs it is the same price. read more

I came to Organic Spa to have a nail repaired after a botched gel experience. I was taken without an appointment after about a five minute wait. Tammy, who fixed my nail, was very friendly and informative. She let me know that there are several different types of gel for nails, and they are all different. After inspecting my botched job, she let me know that I was basically given a no-chip manicure over tips, and not gel as I had asked for. Case and point, two more nails have peeled/broken since. I am going back to see Tammy this afternoon to have her fix them. She did a great job, and the newly fixed nail by Organic Spa looks much better than the other nine, and you can tell that they take pride in their work! Best gel manicure! Relaxing environment, good prices, everyone is so nice!

I don't know how people are giving 5 star reviews for this place. Yes it is very clean and everything about the interior is new, but the girls here do not know what they are doing. I came in only to get a manicure and I was there for almost an hour and a half. The girl was very slow and fumbled a lot with chemicals and tools. She trimmed my nails very unevenly -- my fingers and nails looked extremely weird because of this. She was also very cavalier with the cuticle cutter and I had more than a few bloody cuts when she was done. I would not go back here. read more

From the brother-sister team that run the shop to their wonderful staff, I have always been greeted with smiles and laughter. I have been to plenty of shops that never bother to learn my name or offer me a drink. This is such a refreshing change! The prices are very reasonable. They take pride in the cleanliness of the shop and the work-stations. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages!! This is the loveliest place. I was so lucky to find it. I was a die hard T Top Nails (Evanston - nice too) fan, but we moved and I needed a place closer. This place is perfect for me. The plusses: great massage chair. Nice staff. Great color selection. $35 mani/pedi combo is a tough price to beat. Seems clean enough. They were able to fit three of us in at the same time on fairly short notice. The minuses: Some equipment came out of sterilized bags, but not all did. The same scraping and cutting tools that were used on the guy before me were dropped into a cart and pulled out again when it was my turn, without cleaning. Gross, and the reason for one star. My cuticles were ruthlessly scraped with a metal tool. Very unrelaxing. The nails on three fingers and two toes are crooked. A week later, my cuticles are a ragged mess and look a lot worse than before I went in! read more

I heard of this place through a friend. That has heard of it through another person. So I thought I'd try it since I was in the area. I called to check for prices for no-chip and a pedi. The person on the phone said $55 and since I didn't make an appt. I figured I would wait a few minutes, which was fine with me. The lady greeted me and had me wait in a pedicure chair. She assigned me with the most unexperienced girl to do my pedi. She didn't know how to clean the skin and my polish looked like my 3 year old niece did it. And let me mention, I had a very special occasion to attend to. Then Kathy took over with my nails. I liked her better. She was good with my no-chip. I mentioned to her that I was very unhappy with my pedi, but didn't bother to tell her boss. Also to be quite honest, I truly dislike the fact that they speak a different language. Knowing that I just complained, and I can't understand what is said about the situation nor about me. After I was done. Got ready to checkout, I was told, it's $65. That added more frustration to my experience. I just paid and did not want to do anything else with this place. If the owner is reading this, I would like to make a recommendation. Don't put a brand new unexperienced employee to take care of your new clients. Otherwise they probably won't be coming back just as I will not be. read more

Really? Five stars for this place? Really?! Not from me. Pluses: Seemed clean enough for a quick mani, the owner was super nice and friendly, good selection of OPI and Essie polishes, modern ultraviolet light nail dryers Minuses: It's in a strip mall, generic decor, incredibly disinterested manicurist I expected a better mani than I got from this place. Don't get me wrong, my nails look fine, but the manicurist was so completely 'over' her job it was really obvious. I got the shaft on the hand and mini back massage, because when I looked over at the woman next to me, her massage seemed to be much more intense and longer. For me, it was the two second rubdown and that was it. Whatever! To add to the annoyance factor, there was a woman who was blabbing away on her cell phone without stopping the entire time I was there. I don't think it's a huge deal for management to enact a 'no cell phone in the mani/pedi stations' rule and enforce it. After all, for some of us this is the only relaxing moment we get all week, only to have it completely spoiled by rude beeyotches who can't put their phones down for half an hour! This is my favorite local nail salon! I started coming here in 2011, just days before my wedding when I desperately needed them to fix a bad no-chip mani from a different salon. They were able to make my nails wedding-ready in no time! I never have a problem getting in for an appointment. The facility if clean and the staff is friendly. They do a great job on my no-chip mani and regular pedi every time. I also love that they offer a punch card for frequent customers. There's always a chick flick playing so it's the perfect place to zone out while being pampered. I took off one star only because they require that the tip be paid in cash. This is no big deal to me, but I could see it being a challenge if you didn't know ahead of time. I miss the days of being able to put everything on my credit card. I have been here about 3 or 4 times for a mani/pedi, with a different manicurist each time, and I always enjoy the experience. I usually have no problem getting an appointment for the same day, and the prices are definitely reasonable for the high quality service I receive. The shoulder massage at the end is a nice added bonus. The atmosphere is really relaxing, and I like that they have a TV so that I have something to watch since I obviously can't look at a magazine while getting my nails done. I've been trying several nail salons in the Skokie-Wilmette-Evanston area, without having landed on a place I'd really like to go back to. Organic Spa has changed that. They were efficient, friendly, and I got a great manicure. The salon is spotless, and the manicurist opened a clean pack of tools for me when I sat down. She also gave not just a hand and lower arm massage, but an upper back and shoulder massage too. They have a wide selection of polishes too. I had a hard time deciding on my color! read more

I was one of their very first customers and have never strayed after befriending the fun and energetic brother-sister duo that own/run the store. Leonor, the owner, is absolutely fabulous. The girl knows her colors and I NEVER bother to peruse the polish rack because she knows just my taste and even keeps a file of the colors that I've had! Talk about customer service! From the stainless steel pedicure basins to the REAL massage you get at the end --how can a girl go back to those cheesy unsanitary massage pedicure chairs? I know quality when I see it. I brought my girls along and we had an eyebrow waxing party. Let me tell you, these women know what they're doing. I've had all sorts of horror done to my eyes from razor thin eyebrows to the deer-caught-in-headlights eyebrows. They really consider the natural shape and the procedure is quick and painless. Organic Spa is truly a suburban gem amidst the generic nail salons in the Chicagoland area. For the price, quality and friendliness you get the biggest bang for your buck! read more

I just moved to the area and was in search of a new place to get my nails done. I stopped in today without an appointment and they were able to take me without a wait, which is always appreciated. However, my pedicure was average at best. I had a younger technician who cut my toenails at all different angles so they aren't even. Looking at them now it still bugs me. It's also a smaller salon so I could see it getting crowded quickly on a busy day. Parking is tight and there's only one tv so unless you have a chair right in front of it good luck seeing anything. Staff was friendly and accommodating but I doubt I will be back - even with the incentive of a punch card. read more

Wow, a little more pricier than most but well worth it. I actually didn't even get a manicure. I was in the area for work and had some down time so I went in for just a polish change. The quality and technique is pretty good, considering my polish is still in tip top shape after 2 weeks compared to most. I liked the clean and bright facilities and the drying stations are so convenient and fancy. I thought it was cute. The ladies are all very nice. If only it was closer to me.
