I am a chronically ill girlie on a restricted diet and when I'm not feeling well or want take out most takeout doesn't work with my dietary restrictions or is extremely expensive, $25 for a plate etc. I got more into Organico initially because I was so sick I couldn't leave my house or cook but I needed healthy options that fit into my restricted diet. Because of Organico I have options; they allow you to customize some of your meals, you can order delivery through apps, but I found out they have their own app for pickup and honestly I prefer supporting them more directly this way now that I know about it. The app is super easy to use and you get rewards which I need because I spend a lot of money eating here so often! I like that if you're gluten free, keto, vegan, vegetarian, you have options, and it's all fresh and organic. I stand by their breakfast meals and their smoothies - also I randomly ordered a matcha and tell me why their matcha slaps too - was really not expecting the matcha to be that good. I'd say this is about a 3.5 but rounded up since my experience was mostly positive. I ordered via Ubereats and was worried initially because of the lack of reviews for this new location. This place is pretty good, especially with the $20 off $30 order promo going on at the moment. I got a custom regular bowl and a custom breakfast bowl. The bowls were very fresh-tasting and satisfying with great ingredients and were delivered at the perfect temperature. I could tell that there was a lot of care in the arrangement of the ingredients, and the dressings and sauces were great. However, I'm not sure I would order from here again without a promo - the bowls are normally $19-$20 each (not including the delivery upcharge + tip) which seems pretty steep considering they are essentially one or two bases, a protein, and three toppings, and a sauce (and they include a small packet of organic gummy bears per box). The food was carefully packaged with seals on the boxes, and the packaging was made of sustainable paper products. The portion itself is decent for one meal, but keep in mind that the takeout boxes are similar to the medium size paper boxes at other places, so don't expect to feed more than one hungry person with the meal. The food, while good, seems like something that could be plated at a salad bar or ordered at a natural foods store for cheaper. The bacon was good quality, but the chicken was a bit dry and left a bit to be desired. It's worth trying if you're hungry and have cash to burn and/or have a good promo. Otherwise I feel like there are too many similar options in Los Angeles for this kind of food at lower prices for me to make this a regular spot. read more
