Tofu Buddha bowl, All Hail Kale and roasted potatoes
    Anna H.

Haven't had Veggie grill since 2009 so came here for lunch since it has a ton of healthy options. The tempeh Buddha bowl, All hail kale salad and the side of roasted potatoes came out to about $39. It was really fresh and overall delicious and healthy. If you ever have to order a salad, come here! Apparently, there's an app and you can get a free bowl on your birthday...thank you fellow yelpers, I'm tempted to do this now.

Veggie girl always has delicious food with fast service, and a clean aesthetic. There was plenty of seating available both inside and outside, it was the perfect healthy meal after a nice hike on a sunny day in LA. I had never been to this location, but I really enjoyed the convenient giant parking lot in the back that has free parking for the first 90 minutes.

There's no shortage of tempting choices on the menu here. The burger section alone features 10 options, making it the perfect spot to satisfy a burger craving. We went with the Sunrise and the PubChz. I'm a sucker for a runny yolk, so I couldn't resist the one topped with a Yo-Egg. The PucChz was deliciously messy in its own way. Both of these Beyond Burgers were next level. You can also order smoothies, bowls, wraps, fries, tots, soups, salads, tacos...this menu is huge! Prices are reasonable for a vegan place. And there's a large amount of seating inside. With so many options left, a return visit is a must!

    06/01/25. Kimchi "Steak" Bowl.

Stopped by on Sunday, 06/01/25. I got the kimchi steak bowl which was $14.95 (redeemed by birthday reward so got it for free). The bowl was so tasty and filled me up (I only ate half). Literally tastes like steak! The kimchi taste was extremely strong which I admired a lot.

Ordered online and my food was ready right when I arrived, which was super convenient. I decided to dine in--there's plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside too. The space was very clean, and the staff greeted me right away. I got the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap with dressing on the side. The chicken was warm and crispy, and the almond parmesan added a nice twist. Only downside was the uneven filling--half of the wrap like 80% of the chicken while the other barely had any. I've tried several other items here in the past and the food has always been consistent. Parking can be tough during peak hours, but they do have a parking lot. Overall, reliable spot for a quick plant-based meal.

Buffalo wings (yes it's vegetarian and so delicious)!!

Grabbed a quick lunch to-go after work for the far drive home. I could not find this place because the sign was covered by tree leaves. Please cut the leaves around the sign so it's easier to find!!! I'm not a vegetarian anymore but once in a while I crave it, and considering all the delicious food I've consumed this week in this area, Veggie Grill was very appropriate! I got the Buffalo wings and strawberry lemonade. The Buffalo wings have changed since the last I've had them. Still good, but i noticed the change. The strawberry lemonade is still ever so good!! You can taste the strawberry more than the lemon and I love that! I've always loved the Veggie Grill brand because it's so close to the real thing! They have really good food and I still enjoyed it!

The server was pretty rude very short just asked me what I want and walked away paid about 16 something for a smoothie just to have very rude service no thank you for coming, nothing. I'm not understanding what the hostility is about and why she was so upset even as she handed me my drink, she said absolutely nothing. It's a shame I would come here more often, but the service just makes everything the whole experience, very awkward and unwelcoming.

My Vegan relatives wanted to come here for dinner as they knew it would make all three of them happy. My first time..Fast food like. Order at counter. They were all pretty happy with their vegan burgers. I was disappointed in the Crispy tempura cauliflower that I ordered. Batter was way thicker than a normal tempura. Not crispy. And there was raw batter under the coating. The orange dipping sauce on side was good. .

Stumbled upon this gem while going to a game at SOFI. Realized there are a few locations so tried the one in Pasadena on the next trip and it was amazing! The food taste great , always fresh, plenty of seating and parking in the back. The food order was taken and food delivered extremely fast. Will definitely be adding this place into my food rotation!

Veggie grill is never a disappoint !! It's always so fresh and delicious! I love that they keep changing up the menu so their is always something new to try when you visit . Service is great Food is amazing Reasonable prices

New Sesame Tofu Supergreens Salad, very good.
    Christina C.

The service is friendly and the restrooms are clean. The salads tend to be pretty good, especially the dressings. The new tofu salad was super delicious. The truffle mac n' cheese was a bit bland, but the toppings were tasty. Veggie Grill girl was filming a video on the patio next to us and they were pretty obnoxious, but we still enjoyed our meal. Mostly paid street parking and a lot behind the restaurant.

We were greeted with warm smiles, which made us feel welcome right away. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and comfortable--perfect for a relaxed meal. We ordered the Tom Yum Tofu Soup, Papaya Salad, Pad See Ew with fried tofu, and Thai tea. The food was surprisingly flavorful and absolutely delicious! The Papaya Salad was fresh with a nice balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors, while the Pad See Ew was packed with flavor and had perfectly cooked noodles. The fried tofu was a great addition and complemented the dish well. The Tom Yum Tofu Soup was comforting and aromatic, and the Thai tea was a refreshing way to round out the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and delicious food made this a spot worth returning to. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Dropped by to grab some dinner and grabbed 3 items: their orange chicken, tom yum noodle soup, and their pad thai. OOOF their dishes were like an average of $18 each?? After we got the food we waited outside and it's a shared parking lot with other businesses and I saw a rat literally ran across in front of me the minute I stepped out the door! The worker came by and shut the door all the way so it didn't come in but it surprised me! Can't fault them because this is outside in the public parking lot and the lot is small and smelled pretty gross, like old trash. Not sure I want to smell that before getting my food so we opted to go wait in our car. Once it got closer to time we went in to get our food and came home to eat. They're a Thai restaurant, I hear the staff talking in Thai so I HAVE to assume that the Thai food we got would be good right?? Their Tom Yum noodle soup is YUMMY. So flavorful and enjoyable! It was our favorite! But the orange chicken.. kinda bland.. and same goes for the pad thai :( Portion size not bad but still price is steep for the quality of food they provide. I don't think I'll be back unless I was craving for Tom Yum, but I would rather fly back to Thailand and have it there

The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. It's a comfortable spot with padded banquettes or chairs at the tables, which feature chrome frames and (very good-looking) faux marble tops; along with white walls and light-colored wood accents, the owners have created a clean, simple, welcoming environment. The mood is jostled even further into a specific vibe of calmness with the carefully curated music being played: bossa nova covers of pop hits from bygone days (The Bee Gees' "More Than A Woman" and the Bee Gees'-written Streisand hit, "A Woman In Love" being examples), but it all works. The menu offers a varied selection of dishes from several Asian cultures, from Chinese Beef Rolls to Japanese noodles and soups to Korean Beef over rice. It's not a huge menu, but there's definitely enough there for everyone to find something interesting to eat. The food is all cooked in view of the customers by a staff of chefs working in a sparkling clean kitchen enclosed by windows, and the staff is uniformly friendly despite juggling a lunchtime crowd at the tables plus quite a lot of to-go orders. I tried 2 really enjoyable and satisfying dishes. Beef Rolls featured thinly sliced brisket rolled inside crispy fried crepes with scallion, cilantro and a touch of Hoisin sauce. The brisket had a mild but distinctive flavor that spoke of careful preparation, while the slightly astringent pop from the onions and herbs was a nice foil for the inherent fattiness of the fried crepes. The Hoisin sauce was very subtly deployed, lending tasty support without overwhelming everything else. I added some of the house chili oil for a little extra spice and peppery depth, but these well-made rolls were terrific all by themselves. It should also be noted that the portion is very generous, especially for the price ($12.80), and more than enough for 2 people (perhaps 4 people, if each has 1/2). My other dish was the Qinghai Clear Cold Noodle, a terrific-looking, and even better-tasting blend of thick, chewy noodles, fresh chopped garlic, veggies, tofu and chili sauce that's got a bit of heat but more so a pleasing depth of Chinese spices. This appetizer is packed with flavor and just happens to be Vegan (as are a number of menu items), so it can be enjoyed by anyone. All in all, this was a fantastic mid-week lunch that pleased the senses without breaking the bank, and I even brought some home for later. Do give this Noodle St. a try -- and if you're not in Pasadena, check their website, because they have 8 locations, with a 9th opening soon in Sherman Oaks.

The quality was solid, and everything came out hot. The chicken wings were great, the garlic green beans and cucumber salad were amazing, and the signature spicy ramen was really good too. It was a bit greasy, almost like birria, but the meat was tender and the broth tasted like it had been cooking for 48 hours deep, rich, and full of flavor. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Korean beef. It was way too sweet and didn't really give Korean BBQ flavor. The meat seemed more steamed than grilled, and not even vinegar or chili oil could save it for me. Other than that, everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

I had 2 other experiences prior to this where the chicken seemed off but I kept trusting it would be as good as it when I first had Kismet when it first opened back in March 2025. On May 7th, 2026 at 3:30 PM I ordered for pickup my usual meat and potatoes plate. Weirdly, the order was ready for pickup in a couple of minutes when usually it would be ready in 10 minutes which would have been less sketchy. I should have trusted my instincts. I walked in to pick up my order and there were zero customers around, usually there are a few customers eating at the tables. Sign that the quality has dwindled and the regulars aren't retuning. I get back home to treat myself (I spent $28 for the meal plus a drink.) Much to my dismay I opened the plate and was so disappointed. It was half of what normally comes in the box but the potatoes were stacked high and of course extremely oily. I was like ok let's just eat this because I don't have more time to find another place to get food plus I've already splurged. The chicken was undercooked and rubbery and came with no chicken breast like it normally does just some boney legs. Since I was so hungry and paid the extra money for "light" chicken I still ate it. I'm sick now, the night of May 8th I'm still on the toilet. Save your money and go to Zankou if you want good rotisserie chicken they've been doing it right in LA since the 80s. Or Costco; 5$ chicken unless you want a $32 dollar chicken here to make you and your family sick and poor.

Low-key on a mission to try everything here. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. Everyone…read morehere is always super nice and food is always fresh and quality. This time I got their mango aguafresca, flan, esquite, and chicken torta to try. The mango agua Fresca was sweet mangoy and refershing. The flan was firmer than what I'm used to but was still super creamy, not too sweet and had plenty of this caramely toasty flaves. It's corn season and the corn in the esquite MNM. Amazingly buttery juicy sweet and generously topped with rich mayo, Cotija cheese and tajin. The torta was also REALLY YUMMY and was filled with crunchy fresh onions, lettuce, tomato, and radish, soft beans, savory cheese, and tender limey flavorful perfectly grilled chicken. I even added some of their super fresh yummy guac and omg pure deliciousity right there. Overall this place is still pretty good. Mango agua Fresca $5 Flan $5 Esquite $7 Chicken torta $12 +$4 guac

I don't usually write bad reviews, but I have to say that my lunch yesterday was really…read moredisappointing. I was about to go to Chipotle and then decided to support a local business. Here are the problems: 1. $7 for Chips and Guacamole - a giant basket of mediocre chips - basically a tablespoon of guacamole. Sorry, that's a terrible value. 2. The tacos were good, but again, kind of a crap value at $3 a taco. 3. I also ordered a medium Diet Pepsi. I don't know the exact price, but I had just spent $27 with a tip for 4 tacos/chips and guacamole/and a drink, but they wouldn't give me a refill unless I spent another $1.11. It's not a lot of money, but come on! Food is decent/not amazing/service is fine/prices are high and not a good value. I don't think I will be dining here ever again.
