Haven't had Veggie grill since 2009 so came here for lunch since it has a ton of healthy options. The tempeh Buddha bowl, All hail kale salad and the side of roasted potatoes came out to about $39. It was really fresh and overall delicious and healthy. If you ever have to order a salad, come here! The server was pretty rude very short just asked me what I want and walked away paid about 16 something for a smoothie just to have very rude service no thank you for coming, nothing. I'm not understanding what the hostility is about and why she was so upset even as she handed me my drink, she said absolutely nothing. WOW. This review has been in the making: I remember a few years ago when vegetarian food was turning a new leaf and many restaurants have popped up near me. I would say back in 2015 - 2017 Veggie Grill was not on the top of my list, the food felt lacking in flavor but the innovation was there! I felt the nachos and burgers just didn't have the right taste so I haven't been back since. But the location was clean with lots of friendly servers! Until 2024 I decided to come back and try again and OMG. The quality has changed for the better! I saw a great deal on Door Dash and thought, "Eh, why not?" and ordered their Kimchi Steak Bowl along with their cheese burger as well and I just couldn't believe what I was putting into my mouth. An explosion of flavor! Their Kimchi Steak Bowl had the right amount of tang, the hint of spice, and their Bulgogi Vegan Steak had me wanting to eat the entire bowl myself! (I was sharing with my partner and wished I wasn't!). For $15 I would say it is borderline worth it. I wished Veggie Grill wasn't so pricy so I can have the opportunity to try more but since I can't I have to wait for those days when Door Dash or Uber Eats decide to send me a coupon. And their cheese burger was junky in all the right ways! I just WISHED they offered fries as part of the other, I felt paying 12.45 should give you at least a small portions of fries! But if I wanted some I would have had to pay an extra $4 for a regular and a whopping $6 for a large! I would love to continue to give Veggie Grill my continued visits but I would have to limit them to maybe a 2 or 3 times a year because each visit costs me about $60 just for food and sides. Stumbled upon this gem while going to a game at SOFI. Realized there are a few locations so tried the one in Pasadena on the next trip and it was amazing! The food taste great , always fresh, plenty of seating and parking in the back. The food order was taken and food delivered extremely fast. Pretty big menu, many different options and sometimes a good mix of cuisines that will likely cause you to decide between a few things or just order a lot! The produce always tastes really fresh here and that goes with all the ingredients too! I personally like to try their bowls which can rotate but there's a good balance of veggies, grains, protein in every bowl. If you want to maximize your greens, the salad options are good as well since they basically give you a ton of greens to go with plenty of toppings. I recently came here for my b-day reward to pick up, and it was quick and easy. I've dined here many times too and those have always been pleasant. The dining area is quite large and I have never had to struggle to find seating. The staff is always very kind and helpful. It is a bit odd that they don't have their own trash area as it feels like the staff aren't really true waiters but I guess if you dine in, feel free to leave whenever you are done and the staff will eventually clean it up. Parking can be hectic during peak hours. There is a parking lot right behind the place, but it's shared with many stores in this area and can get super crowded. There is like 3-4 veggie grill reserved parking right behind the entrance of the place but those are intended to be very quick, maybe for door dash/food delivery drivers or if you're picking up an order. You may be able to find parking in adjacent lot near Walgreens, but you'll have to walk a bit in those cases. read more

Got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it was decent, it was lacking a tiny bit of flavor and I needed to get some bbq sauce to enhance the taste. Also got a tropical tonic smoothie, it was pretty good but I probably wouldn't order it again mainly due to the cost. Service was efficient and they took our order immediately. I haven't visited Veggie Grill in almost 6 years, and I couldn't help but visit this one when I noticed it was close to somewhere that I was visiting. I ordered the Far East Bowl, and I enjoyed all of the ingredients. The crispy sesame chicken was indeed fresh and crispy. The midnight lentil mix were a nice bed of grains, and I really enjoyed eating it. The roasted garlic broccoli were lightly steamed and still crisp, and the pickled fresh vegetables and fresh herbs were a delight. Top that off with Thai cocounut curry sauce, and I'm weak... I'm definitely going to be back. Hubby and I shared: Crispy Cauliflower - tempura battered with a tangy orange sauce on the side. The batter was a bit too thick, it would have been better if they offered just a regular roasted cauliflower. Japanese Katsu sliders - made with fried Impossible burger, top with pickled veggies and aioli wrap in a steam bao bun. This was actually my favorite item and it was tasty. Harvest bowl - Mushrooms, butternut squash, spinach, beets over a bed of grains. I was actually excited that it has all my favorite veggies but then chipotle dressings I cannot eat because it was spicy. So I mostly picked out from the top that did not touch the dressing. With Yelp check in you can get a free order 3 chocolate chip cookies. Note that these are vegan so it won't taste the same as your normal cookies. A favorite location of mine. Always genuinely friendly staff and quick service. The drinks are refreshing and not too sweet, and the food is tasty and filling. I usually get the Santa Fe Chikn sandwich and buffalo chkn strips, but during this visit, we tried some of the new menu items since they had a BOGO deal. We had the Ranchero Fiesta bowl, which was so good and had so much flavor! The Caesar crunch wrap and the Sesame tofu Super Greens bowl were also very tasty, but my favorite thing was the extra yummy almonds on the sesame tofu bowl. They have plenty of seating inside, which usually has a calm and quiet vibe and also a small outdoor patio area facing the main street. There's plenty of parking in the back as well as limited front street parking. And it can get hard to find parking during dinner rush hour. The restrooms are located towards the back almost outside of the restaurant, and a code is needed for access. Bonus: If you check in with Yelp, you get a small dessert cookie, which is also vegan. I've always seen Veggie Grill and I finally got to try it for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the food here! You order at the counter and get a number to put at your table, so you can be in and out if you're on a time crunch. They have a huge variety of vegetarian and vegan options like sandwiches, burgers, Mexican food, and more. As someone who is not vegan or vegetarian, I was impressed by the tacos - not only for the flavor, but also for the proteins used. The burger was also very tasty and well made. Guac was also an easy win for us! The only thing I would NOT order is the mac & cheese as the cheese they use was not great at all, and we did not like this. Today was a chance to actually try dining in at a Veggie Grill. Extremely friendly host that took our orders, Alondra. The Ultimate Veggie Burger for me, the Sonoran Bowl for my wife. We also shared an order of fries and we both tried their lemonade. The food was definitely better dining in than the last sampling we had from this chain.
