We received our entire order cold. When we called the restaurant, we weren't looking to blame anyone -- we were looking for help. Unfortunately, the manager offered no solution or effort to correct the issue. Regardless of how food is delivered, customer service is still the restaurant's responsibility. Instead of making it right, we were left reheating and essentially finishing the food ourselves. That's not the experience you expect when paying restaurant prices. Every single item we received had to be put in the oven including the rice that were undercooked. The manager actually is trying to blame it on the Delivery driver when he admitted himself that the ribs are pre-cooked the night before and then heated up the next day. Terrible service disgusting food. Trying to respond to business manager via this review and no there is no formal way to contact. read more

When the manager was requested, he arrived not with a desire to assist, but with a pronounced attitude. He flatly refused the request, dismissively reinforcing an inflexible policy against allowing exceptions, lest "people make a habit of it." His utter lack of empathy toward customers with visible accessibility needs and his complete disinterest when challenged on his poor customer service were startling. We were ultimately placed at a makeshift table isolated from the main bar area, a solution that only highlighted the manager's inconsiderate handling of the situation. The service that followed failed to redeem the meal. Though the hostess and our specific waitress provided commendable effort, the kitchen struggled, delivering our food after a thirty-minute wait. This visit, intended as a nostalgic treat, was entirely overshadowed by the incompetence and rigid indifference of management. The food was mediocre at best. We had an order of chicken wings, which were bland and tasteless and a few orders of ribs which were inadequate and overpriced. The weight staff were running around like chickens without their heads, and it wasn't even that crowded waited a long time for Service, and that came with a certain attitude; and not a professional and courteous one Try to avoid this place if you can. Last time I went to Smokey Bones, I went to a different location, and was not impressed, but this location must be doing something right. I had one of the specials, the grilled mahi. It came with two sides and had a great price. While the mahi was a little dry (mahi often is), the sides were delicious. I chose baked beans and steamed broccoli. My friend ordered an appetizer of corn bread. It came with two pieces and she was kind enough to give me one. It was very yummy. I just remember when the corn bread came with every meal, but not anymore. Our server, was very friendly, funny, and attentive. So all in all, I really enjoyed my meal and so did my friend. This is my first time at Smokey Bones & I love bbq. This chain of barbecue restaurants in Florida is owned by FAT, (Fresh. Authentic & Tasty) Brands Inc. Advertised is a party like it's 1999 celebrating their 25th Anniversary. The 'Masters of Meat' is rolling back rib prices 25 yrs. In January Smokey Bones is advertising a 1/2 rack of St. Louis-style Ribs for $10 or a Full Rack for $15. The platters come with a choice of 2 sides & garlic bread. We were able to get reservation Monday evening, there was a lot of parking out front. Four of us had a nice big booth in a quiet corner. Alicia, our waitress was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We enjoyed around of drinks, beers or wine with our Bogo chicken wing special. The wings had a smoky flavor with the meat falling off the bones. Four of us shared two full racks of St. Louis ribs with two sides. The ribs were lean, had a delicious rub and the meat fell off the bones. There was an assortment of different barbecue sauces on the table, but the ribs really needed nothing. We made pigs of ourselves, eating much more than we should have. We were amazed that the bill with drinks, appetizers, tax, and tip for four was under $100. Thank you Smokey Bones for this throwback party like it's 1999, in celebration of their 25th anniversary. $9.99 half rack of ribs, $14.99 full rack and $2.99 Busch Light drafts available from 1/9-1/31. We downed a Busch Light before coming to our senses with a full rack of ribs with Texas Toast and 2 sides -- Mac n cheese & mashed potatoes with gravy. It was a fun lil misadventure sampling the 4 different BBQ sauces though I'm taking off a star because the ribs were a tad fatty. I try to avoid chains but I'm just a hop, skip and a jump from Smokey Bones and their all-day Happy Hour had me with the $2.99 Busch Light. The bar has numerous stations with live sports going on with good drink specials at the bar. I miss 1999. read more

Ordered a burger combo from burger experienxe on DoorDash and It's located inside Smokey bones. The burger was just ok, I guess I expected too much given that it's a bbq place. The portion of fries was good and crispy. I prefer my sweet tea to be on the pretty sweet side but theirs was not. For around the same price, chili's burger is much bigger and juicier. No one beat their 3 for me burger deal so far. read more

Smokey Bones is an American barbecue chain founded by Darden restaurants in Orlando Florida. They went on to open over 120 restaurants but by 2007 Smokey Bones was struggling and started closing half of them down. That same year they were sold to Barbeque Integrated. It has been awhile since I have been to Smokey Bones but a summer BOGO promotion brought my girlfriend and I in for dinner. Every day of the week they offer a different BOGO, Monday wings, Tuesday sirloin, Wednesday 1/2 rack of ribs, and Thursday brisket, On the weekends if you purchase a BBQ pack you get 2 free bag of donuts. They also have a late night Bones After Dark menu with $4, $5, and $6 light bites. They also have an everyday during the week special that gives you a full rack of ribs, 2 sides, and a beer, all for $20. I'm loving the deals! We came in on a Wednesday for the BOGO rib special. I started with a refreshing $5 Dirty Shirley that was potent for a drink special. We decided to share an appetizer of the chorizo queso that we both enjoyed. Our rib special allowed us to get 2 half rack of ribs and four sides for only $19.99. It was a bargain and I thoroughly enjoyed the fall of the bone glazed meaty ribs. I called it meat candy. The loaded baked potato and coleslaw were great too but sad to see they took the apples off the menu. You used to have dig up the $10 coupon if you wanted a discount. I prefer these excellent specials so much more. If you sign up for the loyalty program you even get $10 off your first meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I hope they carry promotions in to the fall. Smokey Bones has won me back. read more

Smoky Bones is Smoky Bones; it's one of those barbecue chains that has its stuff together. The last couple of times I went there, I had chicken wings and a hamburger. Both times, the burgers were delicious, and the wings knocked it out of the park. The service was good, and the ambience was awesome. Let's not forget the french fries that are also good. read more

Does not even deserve 1 star. Tonight... Did an online order, sent my son to pick it up. He gets there and they tell him that one steak was not available. No one even bothered to call. So he had to wait an extra 30 minutes in the restaurant for them to make a filet mignon. And then they forgot to put the side dish inside. The manager was absolutely useless and hung up on me. I wanted compensation for their error and inconvenience. You should at least comp a dessert or discount. read more

I wish the food was better. The ambiance is great and the wait staff is excellent! If I was just rating it based on that it would be 5 stars. However the food is just meh. Chicken kind of dry. Shrimp tasteless. Steak tough. Salad dressing and Mac n cheese too salty. I keep going back to try different things but nothing is really good. Smokey Bones has hooked me with their smoked wings. The honey buffalo sauce is beast mode delicious. This spot has a bar in the center with TVs to watch sports games and you can easily see signage from the main road which isn't always the case in Boca. One room for improvement that I've also heard from numerous of my fellow foodies is that since the remodel it's been bright lit all the time... Smokey Bones used to have this nice cozy, dim lit stay in and order more food and order more drinks type of feel. Now it's so bright in there the cozy dim lit feeling has gone away. I usually order, eat and then I'm out as I don't feel in the mood to get additional food and drinks and lounge around. Although the wings are PHENOMENAL, and let me say again the smoked wings are PHENOMENAL, I did find out their burgers are just Bubba Burgers... so keep that in mind if you prefer a house made burger they are serving frozen Bubba Burgers instead. All in all I had to step up the star rating to 4 stars from the previous 3 because Yes, wings are that important. read more

we used to enjoy dinner out at Smokey bones at least once / week for years. one time, I found a coupon in my glove box, and yes, it had expired. I asked DALE, the manager, if he could honor it. when he said that he could not, it expired more than a month ago, I asked him, in the interest of customer appreciation, could he give us a piece of cake? He declined, and even the waitress asked him to reconsider, ( we tipped over 20% for excellent service, even before covid.) So...now we go to CHILI's , at the other side of the shopping center. Ordered chicken wings and baked potato my husband ordered them with sauce all flat, and I just ordered an order plain. They messed up. My husband didn't get them all flat. It was the driest NO taste at all wings I've ever eaten. We arrived at 7:30 in the evening and were seated immediately in a comfortable booth. Our server's name was Janice, and she was very attentive, despite being a little bit in the weeds. I really like the atmosphere here! Brick walls, a variety of quirky signs, and they even had some holiday decorations. My favorite sign is, "if the music is too loud, talk louder." I must say that the music was not too loud, and Janice and the host kept stopping to make sure that we were OK. We were ready with our order within a few minutes, so we placed our drinks and food order at the same time. Only one hiccup happened, and that was when Janice brought me a bowl of chili instead of a cup. She apologized and said she would amend the bill, and that, "our chili is great when it's reheated." Good answer! I did have to remind her that we had ordered sweet potato fries, and we waited no more than five minutes for them to arrive. Everything tasted great! My husband ordered a rib platter with a baked potato. We really enjoyed our time at Smokey Bones, but we commented to ourselves afterward that it is not our favorite place for ribs. We went here for lunch and decided to do create your own combo - we were happy with that but didn't love it. It is a chain restaurant so know wherever you go in the US, it will be the same. I know that sometimes the food is better but we gave it another try. The veggie burger is good, but didn't have it today. It does come with your choice of a side dish. If you do want a decent desert, the hot bag of donuts is the one you should choose. (not today). Stopped in for baby back ribs. The food was absolutely perfect. Slow cooked pork and bbq beans cooked low and slow with a think Ed's of broth grandma use to make. The full slab of ribs beat me. ! We like to sit at the bar where the bartender Alicia always remembers us and takes good care of us. This past visit I had the smoked turkey and brisket were were so good. This place lives up to their name. They have their signature bbq sauces on each table however you definitely don't need it. The meats were juicy and flavorful! We shared the "bonefire" platter for 4 and let me tell you it was more than enough! No sides included so we ordered beans and broccoli, which both were delicious. They're small sides though... but again the food was more than enough, we actually had left overs! We went on a weekday so there was no wait time and the food came out in a timely manner.
