Orient Kitchen* Who's ready to plunge into a sea of delicious Chinese delights? Is all takeout really created equal? Years ago, we packed our bags and made a grand move across state lines, embarking on an epic quest for the Holy Grail of Chinese food. What did we uncover? A treasure trove of "meh!" Dine-in joints had their moments but rarely blew our socks off. We encountered bland bites, teeny portions that left our wallets lighter, or decent-sized dishes that tasted like a flavor nap. Then, one fateful day, our neighbor dropped a Chinese feast on us! I'm telling you, when the chicken wings are huge, you know you've struck gold! The portions were enormous, the spring rolls were flavor bombs, and the lo mein and spare ribs? Straight-up culinary bliss! The service was stellar, and the cozy kitchen felt like the heart of the neighborhood. But wait! One day, our stomachs were growling so loud we decided to waltz in for that fresh-off-the-wok magic, only to discover--gasp!--they were closed on Thursdays! What the what? I even bumped into a friend who was ready to order too. The hilarity of it all--our famished selves were left groaning in comic despair! LOL! From that day on, we made takeout our special occasion jam, with just a sprinkle of worry about consistency. Sometimes the chicken looked a bit too crispy for comfort, and those spare ribs? A smidge dry when we cracked open our feast. Guilty pleasures, am I right? Hunger waits for no one! Now, when I dial in, I make sure to request that golden chicken be "gold-plated" (figuratively, of course) and spare ribs drowning in sauce! I'll be snapping pics of our mouthwatering orders to share when we pick up the dishes once again- repeat orders. Since these tasty adventures are rare gems, we'll keep returning to ensure quality remains top-notch--imagine the horror of a party with a flop batch--yikes! Overall, this joint is still our #1 fave! So, we'll be rolling in with special requests to guarantee our dining experience is nothing short of legendary when the occasion calls for it!

Tried a combination dinner tonight. "Buddha's delight" had zero description, but be advised it does not contain tofu, and only has a small portion and small variety of vegetables. I requested light sauce however it was soaked. I asked for tofu and was charged an additional fee. I requested utensils and did not receive any. I ordered a diet coke but received regular, which I cannot drink. The only good things is that the vegetables were crispy and the hot mustard was delicious. The worst thing about this order was that the included soup was very tiny, just a few sips. Considering the order was primarily rice this makes the restaurant look very cheap, despite the combination plate being almost 20 dollars alone. I won't be ordering again if they can't get a one out of two soda options correct. Edited because I later ate the egg roll and lowered the score. This egg roll was disgusting and was entirely flavorless cabbage. The shell itself was pastry like. It was the worst.

Strictly a take out and delivery Chinese restaurant. I tried the Kung Pao Shrimp combination dinner which included choice of soup: Wonton, Egg Drop, Hot & Sour or Miso, Egg Roll and Fried Rice. The soup was good but a small container. the egg roll was very good. The Kung Pao Shrimp, red & green bell pepper, water chestnuts, mushrooms, onions & peanuts in a spicy brown sauce, not so spicy. Flavorful.

Every dish was delicious! So happy with the food, would come here again if I lived in Boca. My favorite were the BBQ spare ribs and the Orange Beef. Both so tasty and delicious.

Basic Chinese. Didn't care for how they lazily fold the crab rangoons in a triangle style instead of a pouch with 4 corners

Vegetable chow fun with uhh ZERO vegetables.

Messed up our order. When we called about the incorrect item (gave us chow mein instead of chow fun) female manager or owner was rude. They did finally agree to deliver us the correct item(we had picked up & they expected us to pick up the replacement as well-nope, was not driving back there for their error). This is a photo of the vegetable chow fun they delivered. Not a single vegetable in sight. Never again. Too many other good Chinese places in the area to be mistreated.

Unexpectedly excellent Chinese take-out. The General Tso's has a nice kick that would make my favorite spots back in New York jealous.

Took over an hour to arrive. Food was greasy, lukewarm. Threw most of it away. Will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered the cucumber salad which was delicious but quite spicy for my taste. Wonton soup was perfectly hot and a great portion. Wontons were so yummy I wish there was more in the soup. To finish we shared the chocolate dumplings. My friend LOVES them from here! Warning the chocolate is HOT and OOZES! I wouldn't bite into this unless you want to burn your mouth potentially. Definitely open with a spoon first lol. 5 come and it was quite good! Cute spot and I would come back to try a big entree!

For whatever reason the food was also sat in my stomach terribly I felt so sick from this place. My server was nice but the manager was not, he came asked me what was wrong and just took the food away and took it off the check no apology nothing. The place itself is fancy but never again The fried rice tasted like butter and chicken was literally looks and tastes flavorless when we were told it's marinated in some sort of sesame sauce The wagyu dumplings are not wagyu, it tastes like frozen hamburger meat The chicken dumplings were alright but the wrapping on them was so thick and heavy The Singapore noodles were supposed to be made with a curry sauce, these noodles were dry and tasted like I was eating indian biryani in a noodle version
