My husband and I have ordered Chinese from here on a few different occasions. It is very close to my work so it is a convenient stop to get takeout on my way home. The first time I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. What impressed me about the dish was that it was loaded with a variety of vegetables and real slices of tender chicken! It was a very large entree, despite being a little pricy but leftovers always seem to make it a worthwhile purchase. My one complaint was that the sauce had very little flavor - it tasted one note to me. My most recent order was Mongolian Chicken - I allowed my husband to choose and this was decided based on the employees recommendation when my husband called to order. Again, a nice amount of chicken and vegetables that were crisp and cooked well but the sauce still was not as flavorful as I had hoped. It was a step up from the first dish but I could use more flavor! This place will continue to have our support due to location, friendliness of employees, and freshness of dishes.

The menu had many of the expected food items as well as others not so common. On Saturday and Sunday there are many, many more. I always start with vegetable spring rolls. These were especially good. Also had the tasty pancake beef rolls. Will stop again next time we are near the McCandless Ross Townships border. The restaurant is bright, cheery, and clean. No dim sum carts however. Ample parking abounds in the McIntyre Square complex.

We ordered takeout this time, and the overall experience was great. We placed an order online, and everything was very neatly packaged and ready to go when expected. The food even travelled fairly well, such that it was still in good shape after traveling home. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a drab strip mall, but it's generally nicely decorated with colorful signage and a nicely kept interior. In terms of the food, the shrimp spinach dumplings were really nicely done, with lots of flavor and texture. My partner especially enjoyed the barbecue pork bao, which were nicely steamed with a very flavorful filling. The egg tart was good, but not really my thing. It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

We visited this new location at North Hills with my party, and the ambiance was beautifully laid…read moreout. It did look like something out of a movie scene, and it was extremely busy due to it being a Saturday night. Our server was this sweet lady who had tons of large party groups. She got us our water and took our appetizer orders. We got the Vegetable and Shrimp egg rolls, and they are on the larger side, so order 1 if it's just you. My sister and I split it one and were happy with that. The egg rolls come with sweet and sour sauce and a wasabi/horseradish dipping sauce. I could smell it for days; that stuff is so strong. It took a bit to get our orders in, but we were okay with that since we were all catching up with each other. We then placed our orders, and I got the Shrimp and Garlic Sauce meal and which stated it was on the spicier side, but it was a bit mild for my taste. Mind you, I like fiery spice, but it did keep me from sweating. We also got the Beef with mixed vegetables and the beef with string beans. Both dishes were tasty and not too spicy. This is great for people who can not handle too much spice. We were there for a bit, and we paid our bills and were out. The portions are huge, so we all left with boxes. 4 stars for sure!
