I work close to the resturant, so we order from them often. The food has always been good. They have your basic chinese take out menu containing both lunch and dinner specials. I like the fact that they will customize your order by adding mushrooms or extra spice. The food is always delivered hot and in a timely manner, but I do work in the same plaza so can't really judge that one.

Friendly greeting and double check to make sure order was correct, food was prepared right there in front of me and was flavorful and generous

This is the chicken with broccoli combination with pork fried rice, I ordered the rice without veggies.

They're not my favorite, but so far so good! The staff is lovely, and the general tso's I received wasn't soggy like most other places.

Excellent food and fast delivery. Only complaint is that they sometimes forget to add the hot oils I ask for.

Yes, it looks like another 'dime a dozen' strip mall Chinese restaurant…read more And to be entirely fair, the inside is just that. Nothing spectacular, if you want to dine in. But the family that runs the restaurant is a gem. As someone with food allergies in the family, they are more than accommodating in allowing people to eat some delicious food while adapting to the dietary needs. Even further, they remember us every single time!! We don't even have to ask now, though we always do just to be safe. And they add in an extra order of egg rolls and more the more that you order, making it an incredible value. Of course that all wouldn't mean much if the food wasn't good... And of course the food is delicious! No, it's not 3 star Michelin, of course. But it's much, much better than any other similar Chinese place I've ever tried. There's just a little extra depth of flavor here, it absolutely ALWAYS hits the spot...

I called on the phone to place the order, and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. My total came out to be around $10 I believe. I was able to eat it for lunch and dinner, even though most people would probably eat most of it for just lunch considering it is a lunch portion. The egg roll was good. It was warm and had lots of filling inside. The young employee who took my order and checked me out was very sweet and helpful. Service is fast and food is average. I will always order from here because they are close and I have never had an issue.

This is a full Fresh Off the Boat triumph. Har gao with skins that don't tear, siu mai that are fat and properly porky, cheung fun arriving silky and glistening, deep-fried taro with that telltale lacework shell. The congee is soothing, the turnip cake is properly caramelized, and every single thing tastes like something someone's grandmother would approve. You order off a menu instead of chasing carts, parking is free in the garage, and the dinnerware is the kind that makes the meal feel like an occasion. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and zero compromises. For Pittsburgh? This isn't "good for dim sum." This is just good dim sum, full stop.

There's a good amount of tables and booths along with a couple of private rooms with large round tables. We ordered a fair bit and I thought it was all very reasonably priced. Everything we had was excellent. I especially enjoy the scallion pancakes and spare ribs. The only thing I didn't love is that the soup dumplings come in these little foil tins and they stick to them so it's hard to get your dumpling out without popping it and losing all the soup broth. Otherwise, I had a fantastic experience and will be back!!

My wife and I were trying to…read moredecide where to order from when I remembered the positive experience we had the last time we ate Jackie Inn. I headed online and placed our order through Toast. Toast, as a platform, does not factor in how busy a restaurant actually is and gave me a thirty minute estimate. When I arrived about thirty five minutes later, there were six other people waiting and I was told it would be another ten minutes. The inside of Jackie Inn consists of a soda cooler, an ice cream cooler, and several areas to stand and wait, but there is no seating for dining in. On this Friday night, I believe there were seven people working, with six focused on food preparation and one person handling the front. The dominant sounds in the restaurant were woks in constant use, which was actually interesting to watch. In the end, my food was ready about twenty minutes after I arrived. For the first fifteen minutes I was fine with the wait, and I am glad they are busy, but I also did not expect to spend that much of my Friday night there. For dinner, I went with the lemongrass basil chicken while my wife chose the combination lo mein along with a chicken egg roll. The menu described my dish as spicy with broccoli, red bell pepper, lemongrass, basil, and a spicy chili sauce. My wife's lo mein was described as containing flank steak, chicken, prawns, carrots, scallions, onions, and fresh egg noodles. While the container initially looked small, the food ended up filling a fairly large bowl once plated. My dish was good. The chicken was moist and juicy, and I appreciated the generous amount of broccoli and bell pepper. The sauce had good flavor, and I even picked out some lemongrass stalks deeper in the dish, but I did not find it spicy at all. My wife really enjoyed her lo mein. She mentioned that while it costs a couple of dollars more than similar places, she feels it is worth it because the food tastes fresher. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I am happy to see Jackie Inn doing good business, I think the food tastes good, and I know my wife really enjoys it.
