I went in on a whim to order take out and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps and a small roasted pork fried rice, both were excellent! They took my order really quickly and also delivered my bag steaming fresh. They had already packed it with utensils and sauces. The place is small but it does have a few tables if you want to eat there. I got back to my hotel and opened everything up, the aroma was so enticing! I dug in as quickly as I could! My husband and I have ordered Chinese from here on a few different occasions. It is very close to my work so it is a convenient stop to get takeout on my way home. The first time I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. What impressed me about the dish was that it was loaded with a variety of vegetables and real slices of tender chicken! It was a very large entree, despite being a little pricy but leftovers always seem to make it a worthwhile purchase. My one complaint was that the sauce had very little flavor - it tasted one note to me. My most recent order was Mongolian Chicken - I allowed my husband to choose and this was decided based on the employees recommendation when my husband called to order. Again, a nice amount of chicken and vegetables that were crisp and cooked well but the sauce still was not as flavorful as I had hoped. It was a step up from the first dish but I could use more flavor! This place will continue to have our support due to location, friendliness of employees, and freshness of dishes. read more

Wow, I was looking for a new place to try and so glad I did. You can taste each ingredient and how it blends with the others. Everything was so good. Crab Rangoon is a must try. The egg rolls so fat and fresh. Garlic beef was so good. Hot and sour soup tasted like it was made to order. My only complaint is that I didn't by more for tomorrow. I've come here for years. Best takeout Chinese food restaurant in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Can't believe they only had 4 stars on yelp. Try the Amazing Chicken (better than General Tso's but very similar). If you want to be healthy, they have the option to order steamed brown rice, and the steamed veggies are always fresh. I've eaten here literally dozens and dozens of times...my favorite restaurant in Wexford. Food is never soggy/greasy. Always tastes fresh/homemade. It feels upscale for takeout. I stopped by here on a Monday afternoon for takeout. By chance, my normal Chinese restaurant I get food from was closed and so I was forced to branch out to try something different. The lunch specials here were a little more pricey, about $1.50 more, but the food quality was worth it and the lunch specials were still fairly cheap. I ended up ordering the classic General Tso Chicken with hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was very good and one of the better ones I've had. It probably could have been a little spicier. The chicken was great and seemed to be of higher quality than what I usually get. The General Tso sauce used was much better than what I was used to and found myself mixing it with the rice. Overall very good flavor! I will be back here to try this place again and will venture out to try something else on the menu. read more

We ordered from there tonight. That was in the top three worst Chinese I've ever had. Spare ribs were old and greasy (I'd guess they were cooked yesterday). Egg rolls were dripping grease. Spring rolls were under cooked. Chicken in moo goo gai pan was dry and crumbly. Mu shu was greasy, vegegables were thick not shredded, and it tasted terrible. I think the funniest part was that the chow mein didn't have any noodles so I thought it was chop suey. I called them to tell them they sent me the wrong thing. They told me that their chow mein doesn't have noodles. Mein literally means noodle in Chinese. And it was lousy. The entire order was basically inedible. read more

This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the area. Although they have seating here, it's more of a takeout or delivery type of restaurant. I usually get takeout for dinner. The food is always hot and fresh. I usually order beef with broccoli and I love that they add bamboo shoots to the dish. I always, no matter what, order the fried shrimp appetizer. It's basically a (large) shrimp wrapped in a single wonton wrapper and deep fried. I've never seen this anywhere else. I always dip them in the brown sauce that I get with my beef with broccoli dish. Yum! I've also ordered the crab Rangoon appetizer before and they are also really good here. If you order several dinners it can get a little pricey, I recommend ordering the lunch or small size (it's still a lot of food) and you can save some money. Also, if you join their rewards club you receive coupons in the mail. Also, I should note that I have ordered food for takeout numerous times and my orders have always been 100% accurate. Nothing more frustrating than getting home and your order has missing or wrong items. So far, for the last 10+ years of ordering food here I have been completely satisfied. read more

I've ordered twice from here and won't do it again because the food is just bad. My preferred delivery place declined hard in the past year so I was hoping to find a new go to place but the food I've gotten is awful. Note that both times were delivery so maybe they do a better job if they have to see you? The good The packing for delivery was fantastic and really thoughtful. Sauce containers were taped down in case that flimsy lid came off, the food was hot(ish) when it arrived, and the delivery people courteous. The bad The food. My first order was a chicken and cashew dish to compare to the one by China House which I enjoy but they don't deliver. I tossed about 80% of it. It was that bad. My second order was fried dumplings and an egg roll and lomein, all based on other reviews that said they were great. I bit the egg roll and oil literally poured out onto the plate, there was a puddle. That got tossed. There are 6 dumplings, 2 are burned, actually black on the bottom. Two are mushy and doughy. I didn't bother with the remaining ones). I haven't bothered to open the lo mein yet. Maybe they have different cooks on different days and that's why some people love it? Maybe being there in person is a totally different experience? But delivery, skip it. read more

This is the best Asian budget cuisine I have eaten in my entire life. The prices here are extraordinarily reasonable for the quality they deliver. Anytime that I am not eating at this restaurant I am exersizing the willpower to not go for another day. Delicious general tso's sauce, hand breaded chicken, fresh vegetables and phenomenal daily made eggrolls. Quick, courteous service in a clean establishment that is situated in a convenient location with ample parking. I would drive 25 minutes to get to this place. While I'm thankful they guarded me against getting a food born illness by cooking the chicken absolutely to DEATH. Chicken jerky does not go well in Chinese food. The price is a bit high for the quality of food. That being said. You do get a lot. But if you're not happy with the food in the first place, you won't bother with the left overs so quantity doesn't make anyone feel better about the price you pay. Absolutely the best Chinese in the area. It's not your average Chinese carry-out. You can tell they use better ingredients and recipes. The staff is extremely nice. Affordable and delicious. I use this place as a comparison for any other Chinese food I eat around the Pittsburgh. I eat lunch here about once a week for lunch. The lunch specials run about $8-9 and I'm stuffed. Everything is fresh. Food is delicious. Szechuan, Hunan, and Garlic sauce are all good. The "Diet" sauce is a huge recommendation. Similar to the Szechuan but with less-to-no sugar. Goes great with veggies, chicken, shrimp, etc. Owners really care, and can accept customizations. I'm especially keen on their broccoli, bok choi, cabbage, bamboo shoots, brown rice & chicken.
