The food is ok, but they try to over charge me every time. They tell me that the menu is wrong (but they just updated the menu a few months ago). Or, it's the cost (5 cents) of the tiny PLASTIC bag, that is outlawed in Maryland anyway. One time my food was $10. 27 that included the 6% Maryland sales tax. They tried to charge me $10.50. The last time I calculated my total including the sales tax at $11.78. They quoted me $12.78. They got my orders wrong twice. The first time I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra onions and an egg. I got home and there wasn't any shrimp. I stocked it up and eat the fried rice. Today I ordered 6 fried chicken wings with French fries, a whole steak and cheese, one lemonade and one tea. I got home and they had american cheese on my sub. I asked for provolone cheese. I took the sub back and informed the lady they made my sub wrong. She asked me if I didn't eat american cheese. I told her I asked for provolone cheese. I won't be returning to this restaurant. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and chicken wings and fries. The food was horrible. The foo young was burnt and tasted like leftovers. The wings tasted like they were cooked in old oil. I don't know if they are under new management or what. It's been awhile since I ordered from them. The food used to be good. But , I will never order from them again. I've been eating here for an year because I lived nearby. I won't ever again!! I loved their chicken wings, General tso wings, burgers and fries. I also felt they had good food and never had old grease, not once. But, today I went and ordered my usual general tso wings and fries. I witnessed them drop a wing then attempt to put it back on my tray. I watched them the entire time, he looked to see if any customer saw them before doing it. I immediately asked for my money back. One lady tried to argue with me and said they was throwing it in the trash, but then my 10 piece becomes a 9 piece, so that doesn't make much sense. The customer Service is a negative 0. I'm not eating there again. I called in to place an order for delivery, the lady who answered the phone ask for my address and as I was telling her the number of my house she stop me right in my tracks and said to me they don't deliver there. And I said to her " I didn't even give you my street name yet all you had was the house number" and she just hanged up the phone in my face. When I called back I was like we probably got disconnected and she picked up again and I said " ma'am I'm not sure what happen I think we got disconnected but I was calling to place an order"and she said I told you we don't deliver there and hung up again. I like oriental house, being used to D.C.'s carryouts I found it hard af to adjust to the way they did things out here. After combing thorough too many Carryouts in PG county, Oriental House is the closest thing to D.C.'s carryout I've had so far. So why three stars? Because they sent me a tea and a straw without the pokey hole for me to put the straw through. I called in an order using my son's debit card and when he pulled up his account they had charged him twice and swore that they had not and said for him to call back in a few days.
