I ordered both Chow Mein and Lo Mein today and when it was delivered to my work, I received something very different. When I called to find out what happened, The rude cook told me that the dish with NO noodles was the Chow Mein and the dish WITH noodles is the Lo mein. When I told him that both dishes should have noodles, he simply said "Well I'm from the EAST side...that's how we cook it in California." Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Really fast service with a smile. Won ton soup on point. Fried rice fluffy and flavorful. Coffee was really dark I love it that way. Chow mein a little heavy on the oyster sauce for my liking but the fam loved it . Kung pao chicken spicy but not bam in your face spicy. Orange chicken sauce so thick it stuck to the spoon(likeness to Asian Star). Veggies had uneven cut so they had an uneven cook on them. Wow! Some friends and I were trying to decide on a place to eat. I didn't want to come here but am very happy I did. You walk in and it looks like a diner the way the restaurant is set up. Quickly seated. Preferred our drinks and looked over the menu. The lunch special is under $7. It comes with whatever entree you choose, your choice of rice and soup. I got the shrimp tempura and a California roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The sushi was good, not the best I've had but tasty. Your basic rolls. The miso soup was delicious, can't get enough of it. Now to the best part. The shrimp tempura was cooked perfectly. Perfect consistency. Cooked to a light crisp yet like butter on the inside, the spicy mayo and eel sauce in top paired perfectly with it. As soon as I took the first bite I knew it was my new favorite spot. Finally I found good Chinese food in Yuma. This place does not disappoint, the food was delicious. Ordered take out and got orange chicken and beef lo mein, both were really good. Service was quick and staff was friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the small amount of rice they give you. They gave me just enough to split it between my kids while my husband and I didn't get any. This will definitely be my new go to spot when I want Chinese. read more

We really like their veggie menu items as we are vegan and we hope they expand on that offering. The food tastes really good and we were happily surprised when they gave us a lovely, small bowel of salted nuts to snack on. The service is friendly, always. I would like for them to sweep their parking lot and the walk way. I like to wear my good pumps out to dine with the boyfriend and the small pebbles and rocks really messed up my shoes. Those pebbles get carried into the restaurant too and make the floor dangerous to walk across. I would like to see a carpet be put down like the ones used in grocery store ben food areas. Never tried this place in person and never will after my delivery experiences strike 1- 2 hours late strike 2- delivery driver hanging up on me while trying to help him find me and strike 3- the food was shit it took so long that 2 of my sushi rolls had become inedible thanks there goes thirty dollars for no reason. So bad ! I had general Tso's asked for it to be extra spicy but i Think they added more sugar not spice. It Came with rice that was wet and all stuck together. Stopped by for lunch. I had Pad Thai extra spicy. It was fabulous but I will say if you like spicy food to make sure you order anything extra spicy. Wife had chicken with broccoli and she enjoyed it. I've ordered delivery a few from here a few times. The crab rangoons are good, but the entrees aren't all that great. I've gotten the pad thai a few times, which isn't the best, but okay overall. Tonight I ordered the orange chicken and it was awful. It was soggy, which I know can happen with delivery since it's been sitting longer, but the chicken didn't look or feel like chicken. Just tasted like a soggy bread ball and it looked like some kind of minced meat. The delivery drivers get lost every time. There aren't a lot options for delivery, which is why I've continued to order from there, but after the look of tonight's meal, I won't be ordering from there again. read more

Service was slow and it was dirty. I guess it should have been a bad sign when it took a long time for anyone to come and seat us or even notice that we were waiting to be seated. We ordered some sushi and a couple salads. The seaweed salad tasted fishy and the sushi wasn't very good. It had a fishy and funny taste, almost like the fish was old or not properly washed. The restaurant was also very dirty. We were seated in a booth and when I looked below the table, there was a dead cockroach and the floor was filthy. There was also all kinds of food and stuff stuck on the wall and what looked like part of the shell of a cockroach. Needless to say I lost my appetite and we will not be going back. read more

The food was ok but not great. Price is high for the portions. They sell you that the portions are big when it actually comes out on a big plate and the serving size is not really that big. The staff is subpar there. Don't expect great service in a less than half full place. They also sell food from multiple countries. They are not Thai so don't order that because it didn't taste right. Wife ordered Chicken Lo Mein, got something soaked in some strange stuff & cold, spices lacking in all food. Service not very good. Asked for Owner or manager, no management available, only servers. One graciuos and apologetic server, he decide to have cook redo order for take home, watched as two servors put food together on eating counter, not in kitchen, something fell on floor, server picked it up and threw it in 'Take Home Bag.' Was here exactly one year ago today for lunch. We visit the Yuma area most every winter and this place is on our "to go" list. A party of four for lunch, quickly seated but it took a long time to be waited on. The place was busy, but not slammed. A little let down after the great service last year. The food was still wonderful, great egg rolls, super soup, and the veggie rice was great. My sweet and sour pork was a touch overdone, but not too bad. The kitchen was really messed up today. The orders came out mixed up, the waiter couldn't tell one dish from another, and my dish came ten minutes after everyone else's. Our waiter Larry said someone swiped it. Only four stars this time for the service snafus, but we will still come back for the food. read more

We lived in Yuma for three years and just moved back to Tucson six months ago. Yuma Palace was by far our favorite restaurant in Yuma. Fabulous food, good service and really nice people. We really miss it. We visited a couple of weeks ago and filled up on the delicious food, but we haven't found anything in Tucson that can compare. read more

We sat in and the service was the best part about it on my opinion. The waiter, who didn't speak English very well, was very attentive, refilling glasses at halfway and picking up plates not being utilized. The food was mediocre to my surprise, even if you do get a lot of bang for your buck. I've been here before and the food has never been that bad, the orange chicken just gave me the idea I was eating McDonalds chicken nuggets and my wifes shrimp lo mein had absolutely no shrimp. We were there with a party of 10 to celebrate my hubby's Birthday. 2 servers split the table. Our server who my hubby referred to as "miss prissy pants" was very snippy when confronted about our entree being served before we got our soup. This happened to 3 of the couples. She just said the soup was on its way and left!! When she brought the soup we had her take the entree back so when we ate it, it would be hot. A couple of people said their food wasnt hot. When the restaurant was the Yuma Palace, the plating and the food was excellent. Now, it's gone downhill. Let's take the Coconut Shrimp for example. The plating at the Palace was very nice with cucumber outlining the plate with the balls of shrimp placed in a circle on a bed of lettuce. Plenty of fruit sauce was drizzled over them with the coconut sprinkled liberally. Now, it comes not balled but just tumbled on to the plate with a little lettuce underneath with a little sauce drizzled over them. The size of the shrimp seems to have shriveled, the breading increased in volume and a meager sprinkle of coconut. It was one of the delights I allowed myself. But no more. The love and caring seems to have disappeared into a nothing-special cafe. Another dish, the house fried rice has less meat and we found 4 tiny shrimp in the whole dish. I could go on but I won't. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. So sad, but you've lost a couple of customers. read more

As it was my first visit, my friend and I ordered two entrees and split both. I ordered #17 Scallop, shrimp and beef served on a skillet with sizzling brown sauce and toasty veggies. Roasted duck was served in pieces over a bed of iceberg lettuce with a bowl of brown sauce with a floral and ginger scent. The food was 13.95 for each entree. Overall the dishes were tasty, the brown sauce for the surf and turf could have used a hint of something however crispy duck skin, perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp were a nice touch. Overall a good value. Ambience was a bit disjointed. Chinese inspired table, Greek pillars, birthday balloons all about and the walls that were covered in neon signs or unattractive brown sound boards. I would come back to try more and think the value warrants the ok environment. read more
