Vacationing here in Florida for a week and we happen to see this near our Airbnb. Walked in and loved the decor and the vibe. Very cozy and perfect for a date night. Didn't expect to be so wowed given the size, and then there's the food... I had a delicious sake cocktail and the lobster roll was by far the best roll I've had here in Florida. On top of that the unagi tempura roll was delicious. Eel is my favorite thing and they knocked it out of the park! Service was excellent and our server Empe was super polite and the food was fast. I recommend this place as a perfect sushi date night if you're looking for a nice quiet evening with amazing sushi that's guaranteed to surprise you!

While the restaurant it self is rather small, their sushi is top notch. Prices are what you would expect from a high end sushi place. Each fish tasted fresh. And the services was amazing.

    Cozy and welcoming!!

Small, cozy, and Delicious! Went here because something spoke out to me, and I am glad that it did! Not many customers (was the only one) for this brand new restaurant, but it did not disappoint! From the intimate atmosphere of just being the only ones here felt nice! I will scream it from the roof top COME HERE AND EAT! Great ingredients for fantastic meals. The owner aka the Singing Chef has a deep passion for his dishes and it shows through his execution. Will come back again! Just because it's empty doesn't mean it's not good, just need the world to know how amazing this place is!! Well worth it!

    Crispy Crab Royale. Very good!

Food was excellent! Crispy Crab Royale as appetizer was very good. The steak teriyaki that came in bowl was very flavorful! Will be back again! The service was very Good. Kimberly gave great recommendations.

Bad value. Expensive and no better than Publix supermarkets' sushi. Will not go again.

SO good!! We went on a Friday evening for my husband's birthday and got there around 6. We waited…read moreabout 25 minutes to be seated, which honestly wasn't bad at all! We ordered a bunch of things to share- the chicken karaage, gyoza with wings, okonomiyaki, tonkotsu black ramen, and a few skewers. Everything was delicious, but the shishito peppers were SO good! We also had our 1 year old with us and she absolutely LOVED the ramen broth and noodles, which was so cute. Such a cool spot with great food!

Food was mid and absolutely not worth the wait. I came on a Saturday night at 8pm and was told…read morethere would be an hour wait. I fell asleep waiting in my car after an hour goes by and went inside to check because I saw empty tables from the outside and had heard from the hostess. I told her that I had been waiting for over an hour and she said that there was about 4 parties in front of me. I went back outside to wait for less than 5 min and she called me in saying the table had cancelled so my table is now available. That was already a red flag - she totally forgot about me!!! After being seated, the waiter took literally 15min to even come acknowledge us because he was too busy talking to his friends at the next table. Tonkotsu black ramen - 3/5 (not flavorful) Miso-hot ramen - 3/5 (bland and not creamy) Tan tan men ramen - 3/5 (the flavors were there but the noodles were super soggy) Tempura king oyster mushroom - 2/5 (bland, thick and hard to chew. they should've cut it into thinner pieces) Karaage - 3/5 (flavorful but chucks were too big and had too much batter) Inner thighs yakitori - 5/5

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. Instead, nearly every course was cooked, with only one piece of raw fish served. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)
