Full Review I arrived at Oriental Thai carrying a stack of injuries and stress from packing, remodeling, and moving--plus a recent bicycle accident where a car had clipped me. I wasn't sleeping well and felt like a wreck. I knew it would take a few sessions to unwind everything. The first visit broke up a lot of stiffness. I stretched beforehand to get the most out of it, and during the massage I focused on deep breathing to stay present and help oxygenate the tissue. By the end, I could move more freely. I returned three days later. My joints felt better almost immediately, and during this session the masseur released some of the deeper trauma stored in my tissues. I found myself crying a bit--an emotional release I didn't realize I needed. Afterward, my mind felt clear for the first time in weeks, no longer clouded by constant pain and stress. I was so pleasantly surprised entering oriental Thai massage! I had requested two appointments at 3 PM and was scheduled for 530 the same day. When walking through the door, I instantly knew this was gonna be a great place. It i has a very relaxing atmosphere, low lights, very tropical feeling. It is extremely clean. We were bet by the manager and welcomed very warmly. We instantly knew we had found a gem! My massage provider suggested I have a combination massage which is partly Thai massage with sweetest massage. This was absolutely one of the best massages I ever had. We will definitely be back. When I requested for a Thai massage and kid you not they deliver an authentic Thai massage. Reminds me of my trip in Thailand. I got stretched, deep massaged that untangled the knotts on my neck and shoulders, and honestly got the tension out of my body. Even when she was stepping on me, she simply knows what she was doing. Very nice facility. Doors, not curtains, on the treatment rooms offer greater privacy. My massage therapist, Ivy, was excellent. I got the 1 hour Thai massage which did a great deal to loosen my very tight muscles. I will go again. The only downside is that 1 hour sessions seem to be their lowest. read more

Returned today to "Oriental Thai Massage" after being away for over a year from Palm Desert due to the pandemic. . Although the location has changed, the setting and service still remains excellent. I felt like I was getting a work out today as ChaCha worked and stretched just about every muscle in my body. Once off the table I have to admit, I felt good . Made an appointment, showed up, there was some confusion, as apparently someone cancelled an appointment with Natty. Whoever didn't keep their appointment, I want to thank you. I have been getting weekly massages for a few decades, and I have to say, Natty is definitely one of the best I have ever had. ( I don't mind some pain to fix what ails me). A little pricier then most other shops in the area, but surely worth it as she really worked hard. I am a big guy and she is a tiny thing, but packs some serious strength and knowledge. I used to work at a spa where regular massages were part of the perks of working there. I never had as a good a massage as I receive here! The therapists are friendly and respectful. You are welcome to undress beneath the massage cloth to your comfort level. Know that Thai massage involves being walked on, while the therapist holds poles attached to the ceiling, which means she can adjust her pressure. I have been there twice, and each time asked for the deep pressure for 90 min. I feel as soft as a noodle right now, and expect that tomorrow I'll be sore. So. I'll take some Ibuprofen and soak in Epsom salts tonight. I'll keep drinking lots of water to flush out released toxins. read more

I finally found someone that takes my knots out of my neck out and stress throughout my body away! I had an 1 hour and a half session. I highly recommend this for people that are athletic and work with a lot of stress. This isn't a place where you can fall asleep snoring. Chacha uses her legs, knees, and feet to make sure you walk out of there like a new person. I completely understand why she doesn't use just her hands now after I left. The pressure points she took care of was from her knees and it worked! I walked out like I was on cloud 9 or like I took narcotics from my doctor to relax me. She will fix you and you will feel like a new person. Just make sure, you tell her exactly what you need as far as soft, medium and firm massage. Mixed review here. There are no couples rooms available. I made an appointment requesting for a couple together and was given a time to arrive. When we did and were separated, I asked why not together. All single rooms only. They don't disclose when making appointments. My partner had a wonderful exhilarating 90 minute massage. His therapist ensured to cover the areas he called out. He was refreshed for the remainder of the day. Only odd thing was she asked for his name and number to be entered in to her cell phone. *insert joke here* My 90 minutes were torture. I explained all the tension in my upper back and knots I had. She spent less than 10 minutes on my back. The rest of the time was on my legs and arms. I kept asking why not my back. She said I'm so tight on my legs that what she's doing would relieve all the tension on my upper back. Including the torturous walk on my calves, as she had me position them sideways!! My day ended in pain, popping motrin, barely able to walk, especially up the stairs. With still no relief of tension in my back. All thanks to "her" who is the owner. I'm a huge promoter of Thai massages and have gone for years. Only type I'll get. This by far was my worst experience ever! We would only recommend a therapist there who is not the owner. read more

Sarah was more like a nurse than a typical masseuse. She could tell by touching me where I needed work. Her knowledge of physiology was first rate and told me where my back and foot problems stemmed from and how she could resolve the issues. Truly Thai born and a master at Thai technique. This place is awesome! My friend and I escaped San Diego for the weekend after having been fully vaccinated for Covid. This place practices mask wearing, temp taking, hand sanitizer and questionnaire re: symptoms-so that was peace of mind at the onset. The most important thing, the Massage (90 min Deep Tissue)!!
