My wife and I were leaving for Europe from SFO and needed to be at the airport at 6am. Togruhl was actually at our home about 10 minutes early so we would arrive on time. The ride to the airport was smooth, effortless and our conversation was enjoyable. We usually drive and park off-site, stressed about arriving on time and getting through TSA, but this ride was a joy. Upon returning, Alex was ready and waiting by the curb for us. I began my search for a shuttle service 2 weeks prior to our international travel. I called over 10 places and none of them had a warm welcoming feeling. I felt pushed into getting 2 cars or sprinters that were over $400. I felt overwhelmed and nervous we weren't going to find the right person to take us for our trip. I have been using Tog as professional car service/driver for over a year now and I can't imagine working with anyone else. As a very regular traveler, it is important to me to work with someone who is reliable and professional and can meet my scheduling needs. I typically travel every other week and find the following aspects of service from Orient Lux to be invaluable: 1. Timeliness - as other reviewers mention, Tog or his other drivers are always a few minutes early and will advise in real time or even the night before if they feel traffic will be heavy and an adjustment in pick up may be needed. 2. Communication - Tog always reaches out to me by text in advance of my next trip to make sure he has set aside time for the pick up. I am able to share my itineraries in any fashion I choose - via text, Tripit, etc. I rarely have to think about scheduling as he proactively reaches out to me to so do. 3. Flexibility - my travel has changed a number of times in transit and I am always able to reach Tog by text personally to advise him and he graciously accommodates. Changes have ranged from cancellations, arrival/departure times, pick ups or waits for additional people, etc. 4. Stellar service - in addition to being flexible, I am often coming home at very late or early morning hours and Tog will personally insist on picking me up for safety and reliability. He will monitor flights, text as soon as I land and be ready at the curb as soon as I come out w bags. 5. Professionalism - vehicles are always extremely clean and odor free, refreshments ready, Chargers available if needed. We enjoy pleasant conversation at times and at others, he is very aware and respectful of my need to work. 6. Safety - Tog is an excellent driver and well aware of his surroundings/other drivers. Couldn't be better! We attended a concert at Concord Pavilion and read that if you did not arrive early the parking could be a long wait so we decided to use Oriente's services.
