I finally got around to trying this place and it wasn't on my own dime. It was actually brought to a Friendsgiving I attended. I recently went back and ordered lemon pepper wings and the steak cut fries. The seasoning was flavorful and my favorite part was how crunchy the chicken is. If you think wings from B dubs or Wing Stop are great, I'd hold out on providing an official answer until you try Original Buffalo Wings. read more

Delicious food, good portions / great value, and speedy service! I tried placing an order over the phone but the lines were too busy so we just came in. There was no one there when we got there so my group and I were able to order right away. Our food took about 10 minutes to be ready, during which time it got pretty busy as more and more people came in. Overall the process was a lot quicker than I anticipated and the employees were kind. The food was delicious, and at a great value too! I appreciated the variety of food options ranging from wings to burgers / cheesesteaks / quesadillas, etc. I got a dozen wings (lemon pepper + original mild), a Philly cheesesteak, and mozzarella sticks. The wings were amazing -- definitely better than your average Wing Stop / Buffalo Wild Wings. The cheesesteak was good as well -- large and filling. The only disappointment, however, was the mozzarella sticks. The outer breaded layer was pretty hard and there was basically no cheese on the insides (although as you can see from the pictures it looked like the sticks broke and the cheese oozed on the outside). I am so glad this place was brought to my attention, as a lover for wings I am always looking for a good spot to get tasty wings. As it turns out working in Petaluma keeps getting better, a co worker told me about this place. I called in my order as well a few other co workers. It was a pretty large order and was told would be ready in 15mins not bad at all. Walked in the place and it just has a warm feel to it, was greeted very promptly and our order was ready. I ordered the number one, 9wings, homemade potato chips, and a soda. I asked for my wings to have both buffalo sauce and the bbq sauce. The wings were by far the best wings I've had in a very long time. The combination of the two sauces left me wanting more. The chips are absolutely fantastic. First time here. My daughter wanted wings. We had been to Buffalo Wild Wings and wanted to try something new. This place was rated a touch higher. I ordered the lemon (grilled) chicken sandwich because it sounded so unusual. It lacked flavor - especially lemon. I'd give it 3 starts. I also ordered a side of cole slaw. I could tell that it had been freshly made - the cabbage was very crispy. Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste. I had two bites and discarded the rest. My daughter ordered a dozen wings. It's $20 for a dozen. That seems pricey to me. They had a very limited selection of sauces. The BBQ sauce was very generic. The chicken was dry. I get the impression that the wings are cooked ahead of time then refried to heat them up when ordered. We expected more from the wings since this is a wing place. Overall, this place is two stars They need to improve their food. I'm not a wing expert, but I think you'd do better at Buffalo Wild Wings. I always remember the building from decades past as being another fast food place. OBW has made a name for themselves in this location. Easy in and out and they are QUICK! No dine in at the moment. I ordered what I thought would be a large order (2 bucks some fries and chips) it was ready by the time I got from South Rohnert Park to the store. The girls at the counter were friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Great packing. Philly Cheese steak: this is the only place you should be ordering a Philly cheese steak around here, theirs is delicious. Hits the spot and gives you that classic Philly steak vibe you're looking for. I like to get a side of medium buffalo sauce with it personally. 2. The beef tacos: you wouldn't think to order this here, and they are not authentic Mexican style tacos at all. They are more of a ground beef taco like classic honestly American tacos with shredded cheddar. These ones are seasoned shockingly well and come together perfectly. I highly highly recommend them even if it sounds a bit odd. 3. The House Burger: it has EVERYTHING on it. I can't even list it all, but this thing is fantastic. My actual rate is 3.5 We came here with my husband a couple days ago because of the great reviews in wings. We LOVE chicken wings so we're always looking to try new ones. THE WINGS- The chicken wings itself did not surprise us at all. They were good, but we've definitely had better before. The sauces tasted regular. Like bought from a store, and the wings itself were dry from the inside. We both ended up saying that they tested like BWW or wing stops wings. There's nothing wrong with that, but for being a almost 5 star place for wings we expected better than 2 star competitors. The sides were a 5 star! Those chip potatoes they made are SO GOOD! The fries were good too THE CHEESE STICKS- the we're also okay. The flavor was there, but the texture was like they reheated them. As you can see from the picture, they look hard and the cheese wasn't even melted. Overall we would come back to give it a second try but know that there is a BWW and wing stop around that probably has more sitting and it's round the same price. What happened to the yummy chips that always came with a large order of wings? Ok, I get that costs have gone up but folks your missing out on business when you begin nickel and dimeing your customers at every opportunity. Great grease burger with fresh veggies, i loved the taste. The fries were alright, they were good steak fries lacking the salt needed to make them great, but they go good with Ranch. The chicken burger however was a flop. For a chicken place this should have been their bread and butter. It was suppose to be a spicy chicken burger and turned out to be something that i did not have in mind. The chicken wasn't even spicy, they threw some Louisiana hot sauce on top after the fact and overcooked the chicken. It wasn't totally bad, i ate it. This is the best spot in petaluma for wings, extra spicy could be spicier like the san rafel store, but when your clientele is mostly white people from petaluma I expect it.
