Came here for the first time for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Line was long. Their strategy for serving customers is not very good. They had one person in charge of the register and 3 people preparing the sandwiches. One customer had a big order and all three people preparing the sandwiches was helping this one customer. The line went to the door. Line wouldn't be long if they had one worker per customer. As for their sandwiches, it's typical Subway sandwiches. Nothing great but their daily deals are great. Today (Thursday), they had the foot long of Turkey & Black Forest Ham for $6.00. I would probably come back at times when they're not busy.

Not a good experience today. The restaurant is a bit out of the way from downtown, which is where one of my offices is located. It's pretty crowded in here throughout the lunch hour, it took several minutes to get my sandwich built and get to the register. I I had a coupon to guy a Footlong and a drink, and get a Footlong sandwich free. Once I got up there, I showed the lady my coupon from the Subway Text Club. She said that she couldn't take it because the coupon was "not on her register." I was like, "What? You don't accept the Text Club?!" She said if it's not on her register, she couldn't take it, but she couldn't give me a straight answer about whether or not they accepted the Subway Text Club coupons. I told her to wait and I would call the 800 number to find out what we're supposed to do. I got Subway Corporate and told the guy what was going on. He asked me the same, "Do they accept the Text Club or not?" I said, "Well, the owner just came out, so I'll ask him." The owner wouldn't give me a straight answer, either, so I asked him to speak with the guy from corporate. He wouldn't speak with the Customer Service guy, but he finally said that no, he did not accept the Text Club. The guy from corporate said that if I just paid for the order, they would send me a $10 gift card. I went back up to the owner who was ringing people up. However, the price had gone up from the $17 the first lady quoted me to $21. So I told him never mind, I would just get the one sandwich with the Meal Deal, that the price had gone up by $4 since I'd been on the phone. He took the other sandwich and whipped it right into the trash. I was like, "Really?! You're just going to throw it in the trash?!" "Yes." Okay, so he would rather throw away an entire Footlong sandwich than give it to a customer or honor a coupon even once. So much for doing anything to get a customer's goodwill! I also told him that he should put up a sign that he doesn't take the coupons so that people don't waste their whole lunch in here only to find out that they can't use their coupons. First and Last trip to this Subway!!!

Store is clean and service is usually good. However, my sandwiches from here are noticeably on the light side.

Since I was picking it up on Saturday and not serving until Sunday, I called and requested that they put some wax paper between the top and bottom of the bread to separate the contents of the sandwich. I thought the bread would get soggy otherwise. They were happy to do it and wrap the sandwich in plastic wrap to keep in the refrigerator overnight. The sandwich was incredible! Everything an Italian sandwich should be! They gave me containers of seasoned olive oil and giardiniera to spread on the bread before serving. We had eight adults and we had more than enough, with a piece left over for my lunch today! I also ordered the cucumber salad with feta, which was a great side dish. I have been a steady client of both Stellina Pronto and Stellina Alimentary and they have never let me down. The staff are wonderful:) I've ordered countless pastries, sandwiches, Thanksgiving dinner... all delicious! We are so lucky to have them in Petaluma!

Both sandwiches, and almost all of them sounded, decadent. I prefered the chicken parm over the turkey that for me, was too much. The turkey had bacon, sauces, cheese on a potential foccacia style bread.. it was a lot. The chicken parm was plain and simple and tasty. The chicken was medium thickness, breadcrumbed and fried. The roll was great and overall I enjoyed it. About $18 for a sandwich, which seemingly is the going rate these days for a sandwich. Fresh, delicious and a solid option for bougie Italian sandwiches.

Came here to meet a friend before a trip to the coast and somehow this place turned into mission control. Snacks? Covered. Drinks? Secured. "What's the plan?" meeting? Handled. This place isn't a stop... it's the pregame to your entire adventure. We walked in like "let's just grab a couple things real quick" ...and immediately started acting like we were prepping for a 3-day expedition into the wilderness. Trail mix, drinks, random artisan goodies we absolutely didn't need but emotionally required--into the basket they go. The vibe hits you right away--warm, local, no nonsense. Not that fake "rustic but expensive" energy... this is the real deal. The kind of place where you half expect someone to hand you sourdough and life advice. Now let's talk about that wood-fired kitchen... The smell alone should come with a warning label. You walk in thinking you have self-control... and 5 minutes later you're ordering like you just finished a marathon you didn't run. Zero regrets. Grab-and-go here is elite. Perfect if you're road-tripping because everything feels intentional--like it was made for people who say "we'll just eat in the car" and then end up parked somewhere scenic turning it into a full dining experience. Outside seating? Dangerous. You sit down "just for a minute" and suddenly you're 45 minutes deep into conversation, solving life, planning detours, and debating whether the coast trip should include at least three unnecessary stops (it should). The market side is where discipline goes to die. You go in for water... leave with snacks, drinks, and at least one item you'll later say, "honestly... great decision." Parking is easy, place is clean, and the whole experience just flows without trying too hard. This isn't just a market. It's a pit stop that turns into a personality trait. Will I be back? Yeah... next time I'm pretending I only need one thing again.

Very disappointing, won't be back. My wife and I rented E bikes in Petaluma (rental cost 25 cents…read moreper minute per bike) and rode to Penngrove market; we've never been there and thought it would be a fun outing for lunch. While ordering a sandwich there was one gentleman waiting on a sandwich order so I figured it would be fast. After grabbing some chips and a drink I paid, and then waited... and waited... and waited. After 35 minutes I counted 11 additional people standing nearby waiting on orders so I asked the man who was there when I ordered, who was still waiting, how long he had been waiting... 45 minutes!!! Because we were on rental bikes and paying by the minute, I decided to ask about the wait time. I was told my order had not been started... it would be "about another 30 minutes"...that they were backed up "50" sandwiches... and that they tell everyone orders will take 30 to 45 minutes. Because they don't personally take the orders, you order on a slip of paper tossed into a basket, and there is no sign posted advising people of the wait time, the wait time advisement realistically does not exist. Given this level of business you would think more staff would be working but I saw one person making pizza and only two people towards the back making sandwiches. That said, at best, I heard four or five names called for finished sandwiches in over 35 minutes. Honestly, I felt this was beyond unreasonable and requested to cancel the order for a refund. By the time I received a refund, it was disappointing our outing adventure was a failure and I paid an extra $20 in rental fees to just stand around waiting for a sandwich that never came. Quant store and patio but, but not worth the wait... won't be back.
