We had so many choices to choose from that were classy and beautiful at the same time! Our daughter choose a unique dress that was amazing! I want to thank Emilia personally since she went above and beyond to help us when we came to purchase the dress a week later. She saw some tiny little defects with the jewels and without me even saying anything insisted on fixing them on the spot! The ladies were helpful. My mom found a nice dress after doing some digging on her own. She got a good tip from one of the ladies that works there, "Don't bother trying on dresses that are out of your budget" after my mom jokingly asked if it was on sale. Also, try to choose something right away so you don't annoy them for taking too long in choosing something they recommended you. The space is a little cramped to walk through. It's almost unavoidable not brushing the hems with your legs as you walk by in the middle section of the store. Over all great dresses for decent prices. read more

My friend was in town for a drag event and found out this morning that he'd completely misunderstood the level of formal for the event, so we needed a ballgown for him, stat. Beware of return policy. Make sure you know once you leave the store you cannot return anything ever. Even if you have the original receipt and the tags attached it and you've never worn the garment. They wouldn't even let me return jewelry. Unfortunately there was a mistake on their part and they only carried two dresses in the sizes I needed out of three. They told me they would order the third dress, so BECAUSE OF THAT I purchased the other two dresses. Then it turns out the dress was discontinued...as they let me know by calling a few days later. They would not refund my money (I know it's their policy) but it was their mistake! Due to it being their mistake, they should've made an exception. I didn't like any of their other dresses for the girls and had to end up purchasing a dress in the size up and paying extra to have it altered. This was my 2nd time going here to purchase a dress but this time for navy ball. Dress selection is pretty wide and good. I ended up getting the navy lace dress, and the price of it was $109.99. With tax and such, total came up to $118.79. The only reason I'm giving this store a 2/5 stars is because of how oblivious the workers here are to OTHER races. Yeah, their store is owned my mexicans and ran by majority mexican employees, but I'd truly appreciate if they also paid attention to other races who are shopping there and not just tending needs to only mexican shoppers. Went here to look for bridesmaids dresses, when we got there we had picked a certain long dress out & it was pretty to be honest, & we (being 4 women in total) had wrote down all our information down for them to order our dresses from the factory & about 3 days later "we don't have all the dresses" so there we go again trying to find the same color & length & taking time out of our schedules to come look, so we were all kinda going for a nice silver long dress we saw, but no. Watch out for the lady with the super curly hair in front....she kept pushing a certain dress on us "look...look....this one is very long & has the open leg like the other one did.here try it." Like SUPER pushy....also she eats while working & touches everything without sanitizing (today she frkn shoved something into her mouth & just dusted her hands off before handling my card) & also the OTHER blonde one who has straight long hair is rude too....twice she just walked by me without saying "excuse me" so annoying....when I finally said "excuse you" she managed to say "excuse me" the third time. Also, when we had the dresses altered they had told us $38 will be the total for the alterations....& when we went to pick up the dress come to find out they charged an additional $15 because they had to adjust some other straps BUT the one who did the alterations never actually SAID or TOLD US anything about an additional charge....& the lady who apparently runs the alterations said "it's cos another lady was covering & she didn't know" OK?? & that justify you charging me & me not knowing. Sooo you guys should honor that because of miscommunication & not charge the client so In total for alterations was $50 oh & CASH ONLY for alterations AND you have to make a frkn appointment with the alteration lady. Also When I went in & went up to the counter curly hair lady acted like she didn't see me. & said "what do you need?" well "hi how are you?" To you too....& before she actually attended me she was sooooo chit chatty with this lady & her mother talking about how she's Lebanese (I can repeat their entire convo if you'd like) & when she finally attempted me Not a single "how's your day going?" Nothing. So today when I finally paid my dress & the lady with the super curly hair was wrapping it, she quickly gave it to me as if she was saying "here just gtfo of here." & didn't even say "thank you" "hope you come back" or nothing, she focused more on this family picking out jewelry. In conclusion: try the Cinderella BEHIND the building....or try Third Ave. This isn't the ONLY dress place in Chula Vista, we unfortunately HAD to stick with them because the bride liked the dresses & like I said the curly head lady kept frkn pushing a dress on us. Yes the dresses are pretty (I'll give them that) but the lady's who work there aren't....in attitude & customer service. Giving a star because I have no choice but ZERO stars for this place . So this is what happened to me (a few minutes ago) I'm getting married in 3 months . I have 6 bridesmaids therefore were buying 6 dresses = $600 dollars all together . We went and tried their size so we could order their dress . The dress is at the store they go and pick it up the dress don't fit . The same size that they have Ordered to begin with . So they to make alterations and they tell us that we have to pay another 75 dollars on top of the 95 that dress already is . Not our fault but they don't care . They ordered they size for us and if it doesn't fit it's not their problem . I am so disappointed. And will never come back . BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! The owner sucks and blames everyone else for all the mistakes that happens in the store. She takes no responsibility as a owner. Don't get me wrong, they have beautiful dresses but very expensive if you are in a budget. I regret buying a 250$ dress from here. I was told about a discount for taking the dress that same day due to them not having anymore dresses to order/ last dress in store. I love the dress that I got for my daughter but the ladies there are not very professional/ knowledgeable on what they're selling. They tell you one thing and later they say another thing. The owner is there but she's useless. They tried to give me a 3$ bracelet to forget about her mistake and give me a card, that if I buy 4 dresses I get 50% off on anything in the store. Lol!! I told them I will not be coming back here again. I don't recommend this place at all. You can find better places and cheaper. I just wanted to add that I did NOT end up buying a dress here. I came in to look and was pleasantly surprised at the selection for plus size dresses. Also they said they're able to order them in the size if they were out. They aren't as pricey as some other dress stores ranging from $80~$300 I found a dress I liked for $130 and decided to look around before purchasing. Ending up going to Ross and finding one very VERY similar but better quality for $40. I gave it 3 stars because the customer service was not on point. There were 2 ladies up front that didn't say a word to me and it was not busy at all. Luckily by the dressing room a sales associate advised me About the catalogs at the register and that you could order those dresses as well. I also gave it 3 stars because they told me they order their dresses from China and I ended up finding a cheaper similar but better quality right around the corner without having to order. read more
