I had been noticing my truck starting just a little bit differently than usual over the past couple of days and my first thought was the battery was starting to go. Truck is a 2022 and has about 80,000 miles so I knew it was getting to be that time. Not having a ton of time before the weekend I stopped by O'Reilly and parked right up front. Dillon and the other guy were both assisting customers so when he was free I asked if he could test my battery to confirm my suspicion. Dillon asked if I minded waiting until the other guy wrapped up assisting someone outside so I hung around for a few minutes. Once the other employee came back in, Dillon grabbed his tester and came with me to my truck to test it. Sure enough, he said it failed the test and we went back inside so he could check which battery I needed. He looked the battery up quickly and made his suggestion for the recommended one that comes with a 4-year warranty. I paid for the battery and asked if he minded me swapping it out right there. He lent me a socket wrench, a 10mm and a 13mm and within about ten minutes I was carrying my old battery back in. It was a great experience and it was cool being able to talk cars a bit with Dillon while he was helping me out. It's always great having positive experiences in stores like this and is what keeps me frequenting the same stores over and over again. O'Reilly is a fantastic store for auto parts and assistance but guys like Dillon make it an even better experience.

I used Farmers TrueCar to start shopping for a CR-V at the end of April. One of the dealerships…read morethat reached out was Pacific Honda. I worked with Juan to sign up for a test drive. When I arrived, Juan was unavailable but he had a salesperson named Mario ready to meet me. He showed me both trims of the CR-V I was interested, we test drove one of the CR-Vs, and he gave me a high level quote on pricing all in 45 min. The quote was very competitive and Mario did not pressure me at all and let me know I could take my time thinking about it. For most of May, I did more research and test drives, including one with with another Honda dealership. Juan checked in me with me to see how it was going, but was never pushy. After going through some more test drives, my wife and I decided to go back to Pacific Honda. I let Juan and Mario know and we prepared a quote for a Dark Gray CR-V. Juan's manager called and walked me through finance options. After thinking about I asked if we could wait for a white CR-V, which they had no problem with as they had one on the way. Once the CR-V arrived, Juan and Mario reached back out to let me know. I told them we were ready to purchase the car. I asked how long it would take for the whole process as I needed to take a half day and we would have our baby with us. He said 2-3 hours. We came in the next morning at 9AM. Juan got us the final quote, which was very clear and matched what we originally discussed. We filled out all the paperwork with him for the car, which took about 1.5 hours. Then he had us meet with Kianna, the Finance Manager. Kianna walked us through some additional options, but did not pressure us to purchase any of them. We agreed on one additional option we wanted, and worked through the financial and DMV paperwork, which took another 1.5 hours. Once that was complete, they handed us the key and manuals and we were on our way. They nailed the 3 hour expectation. The entire time we were in the dealership, everyone was very friendly and was excited to see our baby. We felt very welcomed while we took care of the whole process. Overall I had a fantastic experience buying a car through Pacific Honda. They were transparent, communicative, and professional. They did not use gross sales tactics or try to coerce us into purchasing anything we did not want to. Thanks again to Juan, Mario, Kianna, and everyone else at Pacific Honda!

Review is specifically for the service department…read more I adjusted my work schedule to bring in my car for pretty basic service, coming early in the morning. It took a while to get checked in which was not out of the ordinary, and after I spoke to a service advisor to get my car checked in he informed me that their system (Techtronic or something) was down. He told me to wait so he could get it resolved and get my car checked in to get worked on. After about 30 min of waiting in the lobby the service advisor came to me and said that they can't check my car in because that system is down and this was my first time visiting their service center. I found this extremely odd and was very frustrated as I scheduled my day around this service and I was being told that they can't work on my car... I get it, stuff happens... The real problem here is that the service advisor told me that he would continue to work on the problem so I can come back to get my car serviced there and that he would contact me. I never received a follow up call....I called and left a voicemail for him to follow up so they could receive my ongoing business and never got a return call from that. Business must be really good here if they aren't looking for new and ongoing customers to get their cars serviced here. I'll go elsewhere.
