I love the hazelnut caf and decaf, and online ordering is good. I miss the hazelnut syrup. The website could be easier to navigate.

TL;DR - Don't trust the sales person on delivery dates. Ensure that you thoroughly check your…read moreappliances before you accept them. Know your right to to refuse appliances that do NOT work (do not let them install it, you accept a broken/non-working product and then send a tech to fix it). And, prepare to spend a LOT of time dealing with them if there are any hassles. My washer went out, and I needed a replacement urgently. I came into their showroom and spoke with one of their sales team. He strongly pushed me toward two options, an Electrolux 517 or an Electrolux 617 both for the same price. I, of course, chose the 617 (the Electrolux 617 online gets great reviews, the 517 not quite as much). I was told by the sales guy that they'd be delivered on the following Tuesday, early Wednesday at the absolute latest. I paid for it, and waited to hear from the delivery people. The next day, I was told that the delivery would be on Friday, not Tuesday (3 days later). Ugh. The clothes are piling up. So, the delivery day rolls around, and they show up to deliver the unit. When it's installed, it 100% does not work. It lights up, but doesn't take water, and the door locks and won't open. They tell me to hang out and wait for the service team to come and look at the unit. I say that's not acceptable. I call the sales person, and while I'm talking with them, the service people leave, leaving the unit behind. So, in talking with folks (sales and service are "different divisions" and seem to use that as an excuse for why things can't get done), I finally get them to understand that I'm not going to wait several days for a service tech to come out and repair a BRAND NEW unit. They agree to pick it up and work on some options for me. After several hours, I reach back out to them to see what they plan to do. Note that they told me if we get a solution today, it could be delivered tomorrow. IF not, then it will be 5 days before they can deliver it. So, obviously, it's URGENT that I get something selected. They close at 6pm. At 5pm I call, and they offer me the "lower version" of the same product ("517") for the same price as I paid for the 617. Or, they said I could get the 627 (the newer unit) for $100 more, as they didn't have any more of the 617. After a LOT of hassle, they said they could do the 627 for the same price as the 617 they sold me. BUT, they have to verify the warranty (which makes no sense to me. If it's a new unit, why do they need to verify the warranty?). The next day, they finally delivered a working dishwasher. But, there was tooo much hassle and headache. Appliances a better way? Hrm... As a last note, my next door neighbor's washer went out about 2 weeks ago as well. They purchased from this same place. Their first unit was DOA as well. So, be SUPER careful. Make sure you get a solid test wash, and that things are working.

My home Costco is the one in Elkridge and, yes, it can be very busy because of where it's located, but they process you through the checkout lines incredibly fast, no matter how long the lines are. I've learned to park somewhat far from the door just to simplify entry and exit and, if it looks really busy, to take my cart with me from the parking lot. But I buy a lot of organic fruit, fruits and vegetables, and they have them in abundance and way more cost-effective than a standard grocery store. The clothing selection is quite nice and I buy a lot of clothes from there. I see this Costco getting bashed in these other reviews, but it isn't their fault that folks tend to trash the areas just from the pure volume of people coming through. I've never seen them be out of sale items, though sometimes a particular item like broccoli just might not be in that day. I'm retired, so I have the good fortune of being able to go in midday and midweek when it is less crowded. The lines at the gas station can get pretty long, but they process through pretty quickly. Overall, I've had excellent experiences with Costco and the only reason I'm not giving five stars is not their fault, they can't control the crowd volume and what folks do to their product displays.

I went to my local Costco in Elkridge Maryland today July 20, 2026 around 11am. While I was waiting…read morein line to check out, an employee started pre-scanning the items in my cart. She actually missed an item, so when I got to the cash register, the cashier counted my items and said the receipt from the pre-scanner said I had 16 items and she counted 17. The pre-scanner said she missed my oat milk and I told the cashier I was saw her scan the oat milk and without checking my receipt the cashier charged me for the oat milk. As I checked the receipt I realized the oat milk was charged twice. I told the cashier that the missed item was a pack of soft picks. The cashier then told me that the pre-scanner had done me a favor because the soft picks cost much more than the oat milk. She was basically saying I should have walked out because now I had to go to customer service to credit the $4.99 and charge me for the soft picks which were $9.99. I am an honest person so paying for the soft picks was fine with me. The cashier was rude, disrespectful and she should have realized that the pre-scanner was not doing me a favor, she made a mistake and should have been told of the mistake. It was extremely bad that the cashier stated "the scanner was doing you a favor because the item missed cost more" What? This behavior is very, disrespectful, rude and from the cashier, a Costco employee, telling me to steal. Although I realize the pre-scanner didn't miss the item on purpose, she should understand that she made a mistake. I had frozen food in my cart and it took a while for me to go to customer service to correct the mistake made by the pre-scanner. Doing me a favor, no-- the pre-scanner didn't do her job correctly. This happened to me before, so it's probably happening to other people. The last time I didn't say anything, but this time I had to because it makes my shopping experience at Costco horrible. There was no courtesy from the cashier and the interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and I felt attacked for being honest. I would appreciate it if employees could treat customers with more respect and basic manners. Please consider providing better customer service training for staff at this location.

Then we bought a machine from a big box hardware store that came in the box damaged. In the defense of that store, at least the person who sold the machine had some information. Once that happened, I went and did my own research and found out that the first saleperson really didn't want to sell anything the day we walked in his store, so we figured we would try another high end appliance store to buy what we wanted in the first place, which was another Bosch dishwasher. The salesperson did not pressure us, he took the time to answer the questions we had and their price was the same as the other stores we had been to. We had them deliver and unbox it which ended with us getting a machine that was in good shape. Husband installed it and we are very happy with it. ABW handles a lot of high end appliances, so if you are looking for something that is of good quality, this is the store for you. VERY happy with our purchase and we will remember them for the next purchase we make! lol
