We bought a house in June and interviewed 4 companies to do a major remodel. We knocked out a…read morecouple of walls, added an island bar, replaced the floors, and did a lot of painting. We chose Casual Homes because Tim & Sherry were open, honest, and easy to work with, plus they came with very strong reviews. Time warned us that it would be a 6-week project, and it took a few more days due to waiting on counter tops to be installed and a couple of other issues. They were on site almost every day to make sure we were happy. The crew doing the work -- Shawn, Casey, Ryan, and a few others at various times -- were fantastic and fun to work with. They use subcontractors for the floor (which looks amazing!) and electric (that didn't go so well). Everything turned out even better than we envisioned. We had a couple of issues that we weren't happy with, but Tim worked to resolve them to our satisfaction. We're happy to recommend Casual Homes!

I had a rough idea of what I wanted but I don't really have a good decorating sense. This team was SO helpful! Tim and Sherry gave me suggestions and sketched out a floor plan to meet my budget. Joe and Jim got started on the demolition. With Jim working on the demo, Joe took me shopping. He was patient and helpful, taking me to several places until I found the right tile and flooring. AND THEN, the pandemic hit! But I was not abandoned. Joe and Jim continued working every single day and slowly my bathroom took shape! Their work ethic is amazing. They both even worked on the weekends to keep things moving "in case" the pandemic shut them down. They laid down protective covering on the floor from out in the driveway, all the way through the house to the master bathroom. They used plastic sheeting to protect all our furniture from the demo dust. At the end of every day, they cleaned up the work area and vacuumed their way out of the house. In spite of some suppliers shutting down because of covid-19, Joe and Jim somehow managed to get everything they needed and finish the job. They paid close attention to detail and explained everything. There were many days that I fretted over this or that, but Joe was always ready to address my concerns and reassure me that I was going to love my bathroom. He was right!! I do love it! The final finishing trim was done by Shawn and he, too, did a great job! Hey, Tim and Sherry ... you've got GREAT employees! I was all prepared and had everything picked up and she text me saying she sent me a text 30 minutes ago and she did not hear anything so she was going home and would have to reschedule. We had an appointment at 12:00 PM and when I originally spoke with her she said nothing about texting and needing me to reply so she could come. The first time she just called and said I need to reschedule 1 day before the appointment. I sent her a text and got no response whatsoever. If you can't be reliable you won't have a successful business. I'm really disappointed. I had company coming over and needed my house to look nice as I take care of my elderly mom and autistic son. I needed the help, so be weary!
