Upon explaining our situation and mentioning my mother had just died and I needed to redo all the floors in her home for us to live, Laurie didn't even acknowledge the fact and just started writing notes for an assessment. She directed us to the wood and laminate section and told us to ask if we needed anything and then just disappeared for 10 minutes. When she did return, I did ask about price points, and differences from cheapest to most expensive, she snapped that nothing was cheap there. I assured her she knew that I meant the "least expensive". She was very cold and condescending through out the entire interaction. The show room also looks pretty bad. You would think for a flooring place, that they would do the floors to show examples but the floors were all tore up, through the place. One star is for the nice lady who worked there, walked through and complimented my outfit. I decided to cancel the assessment when they called. Talk about starting off on the wrong foot!
