I was here for a 3-day volleyball tournament, and overall it was... fine, but with some definite frustrations. First big issue: parking and layout confusion. We parked at the West Concourse, only to find out our event was at the North Concourse -- which turned into a 20-30 minute walk. Had we known, parking over there would've been free, but instead we paid $25 per day, and there's no in-and-out access. Once you're parked, you're committed. Also surprising: no shuttle service, which would have made a huge difference given the size of this place. Inside, the volleyball tournament itself was easy to navigate, which was a plus. Courts were laid out well and signage inside the event area was decent. Food, however, was a letdown. Yes, there's a wide variety -- Chinese, deli, tacos, poke bowls, salads, hot dogs, etc. -- but the prices are outrageous, and you don't really have alternatives once you're inside. It feels like you're stuck paying whatever they decide to charge. One more tip: bring a sweatshirt. The temperature inside is wildly inconsistent -- one minute you're hot, the next you're freezing. Overall, the Orlando Convention Center is massive and functional, but better communication about concourses, parking options, and transportation would go a long way. Come prepared, plan ahead, and brace your wallet for food prices. You won't be so happy that I know. I wish you were allowed to bring your own snacks in because this would make life a lot easier! read more

Came here for my daughter's nationals volleyball tournament. Per our vball map, the courts were in the north and south hall, which is actually just inside one big building. A mom had suggested typing in north concourse parking lot but from the direction we came in, it still made us enter thru the south lot, which was fine because it all connected. We went here in June and it was so hot but thankfully the a/c is on full blast inside, some people wore sweaters. The entrance to each hall is on the 2nd floor. U have to walk up stairs or take the elevator. Several bathrooms and water refill stations inside. Refreshments area "concession" with table seating. On the 3rd level I heard there were couches and some people would nap there in between games. On each end of the hall were food stands lined up. read more

The Orlando Convention Center is a great place for events. This weekend, we attended the Home and Garden Show. The event hall was big, the area was well signed, and it was easy to find once inside the building. Restrooms were clean, and the staff working were all very nice. Excited for the next show that will grab our interest so we can go back. read more

Orlando, Florida is one of the big destinations for trade shows. I believe that Orlando and Las Vegas, Nevada are the two main destinations for trade shows in the United States of America. The convention center is overall a pretty good convention center. It is large and there is a lot of parking (though parking is pretty expensive. Today was twenty something dollars to park). The inside is spacious and they do have a food court (though expensive). I would recommend stepping outside and seeing what restaurants are within walking distance. If a trade show brings you to Orlando, Florida, enjoy it while you are here. Go hang out on International Drive and enjoy the total experience of Orlando, Florida. read more

Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), located in Orlando FL on International Drive, is one of the largest convention centers in the United States. OCCC occupies a massive amount of space with two concourses - West and North/South. Pro tip: Bring comfortable walking shoes because you cover a lot of space and easily exceed 20K steps a day. The OCCC feels like you are in airport due to high ceilings, many open spaces and escalator bays. OCC is surprisingly easy to navigate as a result of the layout. Also, the signage makes it easy to find conference rooms pretty quickly. The registration and guest services areas were at the center of the building making it easy to find. The OCCC is connected to two Hotels (Hyatt and Hilton) with covered walkways. During our conference it rained pretty heavily one day, which made the covered areas very welcome. The OCCC has on-site food vendors ranging from crepes and pizza to international dishes. Pro tips: If eating at the OCCC bring lots of money as the food vendors are expensive starting at $18-20. The OCCC has a number of perks. Restrooms are strategically located throughout the OCCC. Though it was a large conference, the restrooms remained clean and well-maintained along with having ample supplies within the restrooms. In addition, I enjoyed some of the amenities such as water and anti-bacterial solution stations. With numerous attendees, it is good to stay hydrated and free of germs. Also, service was great with staff members at the entryway of all the conference rooms. They also joyfully answered questions and directed attendees to locations, as needed. Came for 2026 kbis industry show. Sat in traffic coming to and going from convention that was the worst I've ever experienced. Hours waiting to get the last couple of miles. Absolutely horrendous planning and traffic engineering. Avoid at all costs. read more

I visited the convention center for a horror convention. The place is huge, but once you are inside the designated area it is spacious without being overwhelming. They also offer a lot of variety for food. That said I prefer spooky empire to use hotels. The convenience of putting on your costume and going downstairs can't be beat than driving off site. read more

This convention center is very large and spacious with multiple hotels connected or nearby. We came for a volleyball tournament and the floor could easily hold over 100 volleyball courts and much more. It's great for events. The exhibition floor had a good number of restrooms every 100 yards or so along the walls. This was very convenient. There was a great selection of food carts such as Nathan's hot dogs, taste of Asia, arroz con pollo, smoothies and several more. The food was ok but food service was not friendly nor caring. Their large refreshments cafeteria had mediocre staff with only two options, papa John's pizza or chicken fingers in the empty cafeteria. Best options to eat is to go to nearby restaurants outside the convention center if you have time. read more

I've been here twice for two conferences. It's probably one of the largest, if not THE largest convention centers in the country. Highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes because you will be walking a lot. I wish there was a cafeteria of some sort rather than small vendors. The vendors offer pizza, sandwiches, Chinese food. There was one healthyish option of chicken with salad and beans. I encourage buying food a few minutes before lunch because the lines get really long. Hotels are all around the convention center and some are connected through a skybridge, so you don't have to take a cab or walk on the sidewalk. The skybridge has a roof so you can walk to the conference without getting wet. Enjoy! read more

We came here this weekend for my fiancés graduation, and the Orlando Convention Center served as a solid venue for the event! It's a very large, spacious & clean location, with friendly staff on site as well. They also had metal detectors too for security purposes that everyone had to walk through before entering the graduation ceremony portion of the building. Leaky roof in a region that gets a lot of rain. Ruined our event. The bathrooms are old and disgusting. It feels like an airport bathroom from 40 years ago that is rarely cleaned. Food offerings are bad and expensive. For an athletic event, you should bring your own food and drinks because they only offer low quality food and drinks. Much like Fun Spot, this Convention Center is Huuuuuuuuuge! It's one of the largest convention centers (sq ft) in the USA (I think it's 2nd behind McCormick Place in Chicago). The fact that it's huge is one reason there are so many conventions here (I'm sure the weather is a factor too). Since it is so big, be prepared to walk a lot. There's a lot of parking near the North/South hall. The larger West hall has some parking as well, but it tends to be VIP or prepaid. There's a skyway to walk between the two halls, but be warned, it can take 10-20 minutes depending on how brisk you walk. As far as convention halls go, this one is pretty nice. Lots of space for different setups and movable walls are in place to divide the hall if needed. They typically have signs for parking and which halls have which conventions. Since it's so big, there can be multiple events going on, so if you're heading to look at construction equipment and walk into a room filled with librarians, you may be in the wrong hall. Just keep quiet and head on out. The restrooms are kept up fairly clean and stocked with supplies. Sometimes, they're hard to find if you're in the middle and need a break. For food, you may or may not find the food places open, depending on the convention of course. The food isn't anything to write home about, but it is OK to Yelp about it. It's usually edible and gets the job done, but if you can eat elsewhere, I would. You can take both IDrive and Universal to get there so that helps alleviate traffic. Again, it depends on the size and event going on, and where you're parking. Definitely do some research before you go so you know which hall and where you are going to park, and you should be halfway to having a good experience. read more

Parking is a beast. I had to park in the West Concourse for an event on the North/South and wow that is a nightmare trying to get back after. The shuttles were partly to blame, but ultimately they don't make it clear how to get to other lots when you have to park and walk which can be difficult for event attendees. The actual convention itself isn't bad, but the weak Wi-Fi access is definitely also a problem for events, bad cell signal is a serious problem for big events. It dropped almost immediately when crowds swelled. There was some plugs around which was appreciated, but for a big con, can become an issue and that's despite a media room. I've definitely been to better convention centers. read more

This is a very nice convention center. It has covered walkways to at least 2 hotels to make things convenient. The lobby area is very bright and welcoming. Areas are clearly marked. I did find the actual huge convention area to be rather stifling. Circulation was poor and the air very muggy. Not comfortable to be walking a large show. Also, for such a large area, I would have thought they would have more, or larger, comfort stations. I managed to find one that fit the venue, but the one that most people used was small with only a few stalls. That is a definite design flaw. It was convenient, but they need to work on the circulation issue. read more

I got say.. Orlando Convention Center has got to be, one of the nicest Convention Center I've been to. They had tons of wall outlets to charge your phone, and they even have sofa where you can rest outside the conference hall all around. Bathrooms were clearly mark and they were easy access and tons of them. There were Starbucks kiosks during busy morning and lunch, and also at their concession stand. I can't thank you enough for a great experience because the staff here were all wonderful!! read more

There are two sides to the mammoth convention center. The older side is directly on International Drive, and the newer side is off Universal. Be ready to walk no matter where your convention is located! They have convenient walkways that go over the busy roads. And the buildings are all well kept. They have plenty of signage so it's easy to find where you need to as long as you know what building. There do offer a shuttle service to take you from side to side, but it is a busy convention there will be a line and a wait. Parking is easy and they have plenty of it. Note that it's a flat lot and not a garage so, again, be ready to walk a fair distance. They do take cards for parking fees, so I'd do this if you can and save cash for the convention, just in case. Overall: A Walking shoes on and you'll be good to go! read more

Enjoyed a lovely evening with my hubby attending the Central Florida International Auto show. There were just about every auto mobile brand sold in the US on display here (besides BMW)! The set up was great, very clean and organized and almost every brand had additional displays and interactive technology play area for the entire family with much information. We attended on the last night and it was family night so they offered additional savings for entry and activities for kids. What was most interesting is they offered obstacle driving demos that contained very large hills and bridges for customers to drive 4x4 Jeeps to get a feel of their off road vehicles right inside the building. They even offered a few car simulations for the entire family. All in all I enjoyed myself but I really look forward to the concept car show during the summer season. read more

The parking can very VERY VERY tricky... so please make sure you have clear directions about where you ought to be (East, West, etc.)... so in short hard to get around and find the right location because its so big and the multiple conference building make it that much more confusing. read more

I remember when this convention center was much smaller (I grew up in Orlando). This was the first time I was provided the opportunity to explore the new Convention Center and it is definitely a more improved version from the last time I was at the Convention Center. This is a very nice convention center. There's tons of space, filter water in every room. The rooms are easy to find and it's easy to make it to the large space at the bottom of the building in case there are vendors your event. Bathrooms are nice, large, and clean. The only reason I'm not giving the building 5 stars is because some of the breakout rooms we're very large with a screen that was closer to the ground that I would like. There are many seats in the room where you couldn't see the screen if you want in the first 10 rows. The sound in the rooms were great. Then center was also easy to walk to from any hotel that's on International Drive. It's also a great location for a convention, because of all the restaurants that are on International Drive as well. read more

I've came here twice now. Been here for for KBIS expo and Coverings. KBIS was a cabinet show and Coverings was a tile show. They were both great and the convention center is huge. There is a north, south, east, and west wing. Great place to host large events. Huge layout and very high ceilings. It has the proper amount of central air and is clean. It is about $15 for parking, but I think it ranges depending on what type of event it is, your participation in it, etc. Definitely a great place to host huge events. read more

Definately one of the largest convention centers I've ever seen! There are 4 seperate concourses you can simultaneously have different conventions in. Parking is $10/day, even for those working an event. There's hotels right across the street and up I drive, so lodging is not an issue. I worked the auto show at the north concourse and the test drive routes we had were clear of congestion. Would love to work here again! read more

This convention center is large and extremely nice. I go to a lot of trade shows all over the USA and thus is one of the best spots.

This is our fourth year at this Tournament and it is always an adventure. The venue itself is very nice, clean and organized. Access on and off the freeway is easy. The one drawback is the cost... $10.00 a day to park is a bit much and there are no discounts offered for a multiple day parking pass. The concessions are ok but again the prices are way to high. Bring a cooler and pack your own drinks. read more
