This is my first time hiring movers. I have a family of 6, and MIL had a few things in the house as well. That meant not straining my friendships - but coming out of the pocket for movers. I made some phone calls and got a few prices, and of all the quotes I liked Express Movers the best. $125 per hour for three movers, and $99 one time fee for incidentals and the time it takes to drive the truck from their warehouse. We scheduled a couple of days ahead of time (they have 5 crews!) and got started right at 9am on a Friday. 1. They got hot the house on time 2. They worked ceaselessly until a quarter to 8pm 3. They were gentle with the furniture. 4. They took their break while driving to the new house. 5. They were friendly. I don't really think I could have asked for a better experience. Moving is hectic, but the three guys who worked our move made the day better. They were professionals, not day laborers, and it showed in their work ethic. I hope to never move again, but if I do I will call these movers first. read more

My boyfriend and I had to move during Thanksgiving weekend so naturally all of our friends were out of town and unable to help us move, but luckily Orlando Express Movers saved the day! The pricing was extremely reasonable and man were these guys fast! They were able to move my items out of my apartment, the items out of my boyfriend's house, and unload everything into a third apartment location in under 3 hours! Did I mention that also included my boyfriend's apartment being about 15 miles away from my place and the new place being 5 miles away from that. Express movers was the best decision we made during the whole moving-in-the-middle-of-the-holidays process. They were EXTREMELY accommodating since we had to change date when our house closing did not happen as scheduled. We requested an early move since both my husband and I had to work in the afternoon, and they were at my door before 9am, with a very friendly and positive attitude. BOBBY and ROMAN were fast at packing our whole apartment, and they cared about every single item packed and moved. I was truly a train wreck moving 2 days prior to NYE since I had to be out of there by the 1st, and I had forgotten about some things in the garage that they happily accommodated even after they had planned the truck space. When arrived to the new location the unpacking and assembling was even quicker. They made sure to set everything up exactly where we wanted. Mind yourself that all of the hard work was always done with a big smile in their faces. I wouldn't doubt for one second to recommend their services! I hired Express Movers to move my boyfriend and me from a third floor apartment to a first floor apartment. The guys were very punctual and took great care of all our stuff! A third floor move is a pain but they took the time to wrap everything and made sure nothing got damaged down the 3 floors of stairs. The guys were incredibly nice and asked us exactly where we wanted all the furniture and boxes. UPDATE- I was contacted by the owner, who showed great concern over my review. He made sure to apologize for my experience, expressed his willingness to address my concerns - not only in the future with personal attention on future services- but provided a partial refund to show how serious he takes customer service. Glad to see the owner cares about what customers say! If you value communication with the people moving your belongings, look elsewhere. The two movers that showed up didn't speak English fluently (one not at all) and were incredibly rude. They showed up and immediately started barking orders at me - "Put dog away, What you want move???" When asked if they received a list of what was being moved, they said they had none. When I indicated some items were trash and not coming, they proceeded to pack them any way so thanks for bringing my trash to my new place...They also made it clear that they were not prepared for some items, like big screen TVs and said "We not responsible..." Luckily, I had the original box, which had lizard poop due to being on the patio (one of my garbage items...) or I might have a broken TV at the new house. The move was scheduled for 3 hours (site unseen despite request) and took 6 hours to complete. A two bedroom, two story townhouse...They also left trash like packing tape at the old house which I have to clean up. read more

I'm not one to write bad reviews. This company does not stand behind their work. They say they will do one thing but in the end do something else. They damaged our new floors on the move and upon coming to inspect the damage (nearly a month later) they suggested all the things they where going to do to fix it until we think they began to understand what was involved in doing so. The damaged caused to 16 of our lament boards was not going to be cheap to fix/replace. Towards the end of this interaction he began to aggressively question us about the damage making us feel that we were lying about this being their fault. I feel nothing will be fixed from them... Great movers and professional with all the right equipment. I personally didn't see the work but had relatives relate all of details. What I did notice and didn't like was how the coordination of the unloading and set up of the boxes were left in my storage unit. Simply 3 weeks after being placed all of the boxes fell on top of each other because 2 large boxes were placed too high and broke a few paintings. I highly... HIGHLY recommend these guys for your moving needs. I called them because of the great reviews on Yelp and Google. I was stuck in an odd moving situation: Moving from one high-rise condo to another in downtown Orlando. Which means you have to reserve the Freight elevators in available time slots on certain days of the week. This was no problem for Alex and Victor as they used efficient techniques to get all your stuff swiftly and safely transported - even while the elevators were at their slowest. They also brought extra boxes and packed all remaining items. At the end of the move, nothing was broken or scratched. Accommodating, efficient, and professional are just a few words to describe their work. I can imagine all moving scenarios are different.
